Rancang Bangun Alat Pengolah Air Gambut Sederhana sebagai Solusi Permasalahan Air Bersih Masyarakat Pedesaan

Sulitnya pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih mengakibatkan masalah lain yang kompleks. Salah satu permasalahan yang dapat ditimbulkan adalah menjadi buruknya sanitasi di lingkungan tersebut yang kemudian berdampak pada masalah kesehatan masyarakat di lingkungan tersebut. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut maka pada penelitian ini dilakukanlah perencanaan sebuah alat pengolahan air gambut yang bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah alat yang sederhana dan efisien sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan air bersih kepada masyarakat yang sebagian besar masih menggunakan air gambut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih. Pada alat yang telah dirancang selanjutnya akan dilakukan uji coba untuk mengetahui efisiensi alat untuk menurunkan parameter warna, kekeruhan, TDS, pH, Besi (Fe) dan Mangan (Mn). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengolahan menggunakan alat yang telah dirancang terbukti mampu menurunkan beberapa parameter sampai pada standar baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan oleh PERMENKES No.416/MENKES /PER/IX/1990. Parameter pH pada titik 1 mengalami peningkatan dari 2,9 menjadi 5,31 dan untuk titik 2 mengalami penurunan dari 7,6 menjadi 5,32. Parameter warna mengalami penurunan dari 743 Pt-Co menjadi 23 Pt-Co dan untuk titik 2 mengalami penurunan dari 639 Pt-Co menjadi 6 Pt-Co. Parameter kekeruhan pada titik 1 megalami penurunan dari 3,25 NTU menjadi 2,94 NTU dan untuk titik 2 mengalami penurunan dari 11,9 NTU menjadi 2,44 NTU. Parameter TDS (Total Disolved Solid) pada titik 1 mnegalami penurunan dari 38,8 mg/l menjadi 26,5 mg/l dan pada titik 2 mengalami peningkatan dari 21,8 mg/l menjadi 27,8 mg/l. Parameter mangan (Mn) pada titik 1 mengalami peningkatan dari 0,01 mg/l menjadi 1,22 mg/l dan pada titik 2 mengalmi peningkatan dari 0,4 mg/l menjadi 1,42 mg/l. Parameter besi (Fe) pada titik 1 mengalami penurunan dari 0,83 mg/l menjadi 0,18 mg/l dan pada titik 2 mengalami penurunan dari 4,19 mg/l menjadi 0,24 mg/l. Dari hasil uji tersebut, terdapat beberapa parameter yang masih belum memenuhi standar baku mutu, sehingga diperlukan perbaikan pada rancangan alat agar air hasil olahan menjadi lebih baik dan sesuai standar baku mutu

The Role of Tso (Third Sector Organization) Towards the Empowerment of Women in Bali (Case Study: Bali Sruti)

The issue of gender inequality in Indonesia is the result of a patriarchal culture that has existed for a long time. The gender division of men and women in the field of social and economic development is clearly visible, as women do not fully gain access to some resource sectors, such as education and employment. Bali as one of the provinces in Indonesia that still adheres to patriarchal culture. But the culture is in fact contrary to the Hindu belief that they believe to be the majority religion, where women have a very respectable position because it is considered as the incarnation of one of the revered Goddesses. This then underlies the movement of one of the TSO (Third Sector Organization) in Bali, Bali Sruti, which then consistently campaigns for women empowerment. Demam Berdarah Dengue Derajat II Pada Pasien Pediatrik

Pendahuluan. Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) masih merupakan penyakit dengan prevalensi yang tinggi di Indonesia. DBD merupakan salah satu spektrum klinis dari infeksi virus dengue. Kasus. An. F, 12 tahun, datang dengan keluhan demam sejak 4 hari sebelum masuk rumah sakit, timbul mendadak bersifat terus menerus disertai sakit kepala, mual, muntah, gusi berdarah dan bintik-bintik merah pada kulit. Kesadaran compos mentis, nadi 132x/menit, suhu 38.9°C, berat badan 30kg. Pemeriksaan laboratorium menunjukkan trombositopenia dan leukopenia, dengue IgM dan IgG positif. Pasien diberikan terapi berupa pemberian cairan ringer laktat intravena dan acetaminophen. Simpulan. penyakit akibat virus dengue memiliki spektrum yang luas sehingga perlu mencermati gejala, tanda, dan temuan laboratorium untuk mengetahui derajat keparahan penyakit dan prognosis perjalanan penyakit. Pengujian generator 3 phasa dengan variasi beban 3 kecepatan angin yaitu kecepatan 3 m/s sampai dengan 5 m/s. Hasil pengujian berupa grafik dan tabel data perhitungan. The Correlation Between Eating Utensils and Place of Sales in the Contamination of Escherichia Coli in Food Sold at Campus Food Stalls

Up to now, in general, the safety of food that is sold at any canteens in the campuses, the eating utensils are handled and the food stalls are managed are still uncertain. This research was aimed to understand the correlation between the eating utensils handling and the contamination of Escherichia coli (E. coli) in the food sold by the food vendors in the campus. The cross-sectional design research applied on the food stalls in the university campus in Depok with a total number of 173 consumers as respondents. The variables observed as independent variables were the sanitation of the eating utensils and the sanitation of the dining place. The examination method of the Most Probable Number (MPN) for E. coli was conducted to assess the food’s hygiene. The data analyzed using the chi-square test and followed by the logistic regression. The result showed that more than half of the food samples (59.54%) were contaminated by E. coli. The storage place of the eating utensils was most significantly correlated with the E. coli contamination of the served food with an OR=0.45 (0.21-0.87). Therefore, it is necessary to promote the awareness of this risk and reinforce supervision by the Health Authorities and by the management of the place of sales to provide guidance to the food vendors and to the consumers as well. Further research is recommended to observe the E. coli contamination through clean water, eating utensils, the hands of the consumers and the napkins used to wipe dry the eating utensils
