Calculation of the infrared frequency and the damping constant (full width at half maximum) for metal organic frameworks

    Get PDF
The rho(NH2) infrared (IR) frequencies and the corresponding full width at half maximum (FWHM) values for (CH3)(2)(NH2FeMII)-M-III(HCOO)(6) (DMFeM, M = Ni, Zn, Cu, Fe, and Mg) are analyzed at various temperatures by using the experimental data from the literature. For the analysis of the IR frequencies of the rho(NH2) mode which is associated with the structural phase transitions in those metal structures, the temperature dependence of the mode frequency is assumed as an order parameter and the IR frequencies are calculated by using the molecular field theory. Also, the temperature dependence of the IR frequencies and of the damping constant as calculated from the models of pseudospin (dynamic disorder of dimethylammonium (DMA(+)) cations)-phonon coupling (PS) and of the energy fluctuation (EF), is fitted to the observed data for the wavenumber and FWHM of the rho(NH2) IR mode of the niccolites studied here. We find that the observed behavior of the IR frequencies and the FWHM of this mode can be described adequately by the models studied for the crystalline structures of interest. This method of calculating the frequencies (IR and Raman) and FWHM of modes which are responsible for the phase transitions can also be applied to some other metal organic frameworks

In journals, mostly texts belonging to writers or poets who lived at different times takes place. The number of journals belonging to a single author or poet is very few. Journals are divided into groups according to the texts in them. Poetry magazines are the most prominent among these groups. Our literature is very rich in terms of poetry magazines. There are many studies on poetry magazines, but the number of existing magazines is far above the studies done. This study, which is about a poetry magazine that has not been classified and promoted until today, has been made with reference to the gap in this field. The poetry journal, which is the subject of the study, is registered in Istanbul University Rare Works Library under number T743. The magazine, in which there are poems belonging to more than one poet, consists of a total of 186 leaves. In this study, information about the general of the journal was given and the manuscript of this journal was described. Then, the poems between the pages 91a-141b of the journal were transcribed and analyzed. The study has been prepared according to the "Systematic Classification of Poetry Magazines Project" (MESTAP). The aim of the study is to introduce a poetry magazine that has not been studied to the world of science, to reach poets that have never been heard before, to reach more information about poets whose information is only in biographies, and to gain new information to the world of science. The fact that the examined poetry journal will be introduced to the scientific world for the first time increases the originality and importance of the study. Three-dimensional finite element analysis used to compare methods of fixation after sagittal split ramus osteotomy: setback surgery-posterior loading

    No full text
We used three-dimensional finite element analysis to compare the biomechanical stability of bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomies fixed by tag screws with linear and triangular configuration, and double or single six-hole miniplates with monocortical screws after set-back operation. The three-dimensional finite element model contained 122,717 elements and 25,048 nodes. Posterior occlusal toads were simulated on the distal segments. MSC Marc software was used to calculate the stress fields on both the segments and the fixing appliances. We conclude that either triangular tag screw configuration or double miniplates led to better stability and tower mechanical stresses near the osteotomy than the linear lag screws or single oblique miniplates. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mechanical behavior of different fixation methods used in bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO). Part I comprises of the results of the analysis for mandibular advancement, four different fixation configurations of six hole fragmentation mini plates with monocortical screws and lag screws and posterior loading conditions in the molar and premolar region. The finite element analysis method (FEA) appears suitable for simulating complex mechanical stress situations in the maxillofacial region. The mechanical behavior of selected lag screws with linear or triangular configuration and double parallel or single oblique six hole mini plates with monocortical screws were compared by FEA after 5 mm BSSRO advancement procedure

    No full text
A local isolate of Bacillus thuringiensis Mm2 had insecticidal activity against the larvae of Melolontha melolontha, Agelastica alni, Leptinotarsa decemlineata and Amphimallon solstitiale and produced a 65 kDa protein. SDS-PAGE profile of B. thuringiensis Mm2 was compared with those of 29 different Cry3Aa producers which verified Cry3Aa biosynthesis by the isolate. The cry3Aa gene of Mm2 was cloned, sequenced and the deduced amino acid sequence was compared with the cry3Aa sequences of ten different quaternary ranks. Its identity to these sequences ranged between 97.4% and 99.2%. The gene was next cloned into E. coli-Bacillus shuttle vector pNW33N and expressed at a low level in B. subtilis 168
