This study aims to study on user acceptance levels of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) UBD. Evaluation to see how far the system is functioning properly in accordance with its function so that the system supports the task effectively. This evaluation provides information on the perception of users that can be entered for UBD in developing HRIS in the future. The model used is Human - Organization - Technology (HOT) Fit Model. The components include human (system use and user satisfaction), organization (structure and environment), technology (system quality, information quality and service quality). Instrument research using questionnaires, scoring by using a Likert scala. Retrieved fact that, variable human, organization and technology, and a significant positive effect on the acceptance of the performance of HRIS UBD. Factors affecting the successive visits of the loading factor is variable technology (0.541 (0.001)), human variables (0.308 (0.001)), and the organization variable (0.220 (0.027))

How Well Can You Tailor the Charge of Lipid Vesicles?

Knowledge and control of surface charge or potential is important for tailoring colloidal interactions. In this work, we compare widely used zeta potential (Ī¶) measurements of charged lipid vesicle surface potential to direct measurements using the surface force apparatus (SFA). Our measurements show good agreement between the two techniques. On varying the fraction of anionic lipids dimyristoylphosphatidylserine (DMPS) or dimyristoylphosphatidylglycerol (DMPG) mixed with zwitterionic dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) from 0 to 100 mol % we observed a near-linear increase in membrane surface charge or potential up to 20-30 mol % charged lipids beyond which charge saturation occurred in physiological (high) salt conditions. Similarly, in low salt concentrations, a linear increase in charge/potential was found but only up to āˆ¼5-10 mol % charged lipids beyond which the surface charge or potential leveled off. While a lower degree of ionization is expected due to the lower dielectric constant (Īµ āˆ¼ 4) of the lipid acyl chain environment, increasing intramembrane electrostatic repulsion between neighboring charged lipid head groups at higher charge loading contributes to charge suppression. Measured potentials in physiological salt solutions were consistent with predictions using the Gouy-Chapman-Stern-Grahame (GCSG) model of the electrical double layer with Langmuir binding of counterions, but in low salt conditions, the model significantly overestimated the surface charge/potential. The much lower ionization in low salt (maximum āˆ¼1-2% of total lipids ionized) instead was consistent with counterion condensation at the bilayer surface which limited the charge that could be obtained. The strong interplay between membrane composition, lipid headgroup ionization, electrolyte concentration, and solution pH complicates exact prediction and tuning of membrane surface charge for applications. However, the theoretical frameworks used here can provide guidelines to understand this interplay and establish a range of achievable potentials for a system and predict the response to triggers like pH and salt concentration changes

Soil is one of the construction materials that are directly available in field, various means are used to improve the strength of soil clays, such as by the addition of chemicals. In order to find out the existing problems on the ground then conducted research using Palm Shell Grey and lime as a material stabilization . Clay soil samples taken from the road bypass KM 56 pariaman as deep as 1 m. The face of the ground at a distance of 30 m from the outer width of the road, while the stabilization material used is Palm shell ash percentage ash mixture and lime Shell Oil amounting to 9% and 5% of lime with the submersion of 0, 1, 4, 7 and 14 days. The method of this research is experimental research that is done by holding the object against the manipulation of research as well as the presence of the control. In the experiment, researchers manipulation a treatment or experimental conditions, and then observing the influence caused by the treatment or manipulation. The research results show the test results of the original ground soaking CBR 0 and 14 days test result shows that the original land CBR 0 day 60.85% and 2.20% 14 days is lower than the CBR test results of soil with a mixture of palm oil shell ash 9% and 5% lime by submersion 0 days 74.2% and 14 days 65% increment happened, the longer the immersion indicates the more increasing the CBR test results, seeing from the results of the immersion test 0, 1, 4, 7, and 14 days, at the 14-day immersion the best results were obtained
