    The Development of Interactive Multimedia Based on TPACK to Enhance Students' Science Process Skills on Living Cell Matter

    This work aims to create interactive multimedia based on TPACK to enhance students' science process skills (SPS) on living cell matter. It offers an alternate method of learning that relies on creating and applying information technology to achieve learning goals (SPS). The ADDIE paradigm was utilized in the research and development process to create Interactive multimedia. These steps are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Interactive Multimedia development product was determined to be possible to be incorporated into a learning product based on the research findings and several validation and implementation tests carried out during the development process. The Interactive Multimedia is practicable, as evidenced by the percentage of data collected from the validator and the outcomes of the implementation test to the pupils. The students' SPS N-Gain analysis results obtained a score of 0.78 in the high category. In other words, a product that has undergone testing and validation may be one that can be used to aid in learning about living cells and can enhance students' science process skills

    HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGUASAAN KONSEP PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DENGAN PERILAKU RAMAH LINGKUNGAN

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Mixed Methods Explanatory kuantitatif-kualitatif yang terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu penguasaan konsep pengelolaan sampah (X) dan variabel terikat yaitu perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa di SMK Wikrama Bogor (Y). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara penguasaan konsep pengelolaan sampah dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa di SMK Wikrama Bogor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Juli 2016 dengan populasi siswa SMK Wikrama Bogor tahun akademik 2015/2016 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Multistage Random Sampling, dengan kriteria Slovin. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan melalui perhitungan statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors dan homogenitas menggunakan uji Bartlett serta pengujian hipotesis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dan statistik korelasi. Diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi  (r) = 0,403 dan hasil uji-t pada taraf signifikan a = 0,05 menunjukan thitung = 4,764 dan ttabel = 1,984, sehingga nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang kurang erat antara penguasaan konsep pengelolaan sampah dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa di SMK Wikrama Bogor. Hasil penelitian kualitatif diperoleh dua faktor yang menyebabkan kurang eratnya hubungan yaitu faktor dalam diri dan lingkungan luar sekolah. Adapun faktor yang diperkirakan memiliki hubungan erat dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan siswa adalah kebijakan sekolah berupa hukuman dan konsistensi guru

    The Development of a Virtual Laboratory Based on Problems in the Circulatory System Matter

    Practicum in biology learning is an important element that allows students to observe, try, and test scientific concepts directly. However, the problems faced such as limited equipment, costs and time are obstacles. Therefore, the use of a virtual laboratory is needed to overcome this problem. This research aims to develop a problem-based virtual laboratory on circulatory system material. This virtual laboratory not only presents practical simulations that are close to reality but also challenges in the form of problems related to blood circulation that students need to solve. The laboratory was developed with a menu containing competencies, materials, practicums, and evaluations. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The instrument was a questionnaire for 20 Biology teachers, expert lecturers, and students. The results showed the validity results of media and material experts of 94% and a VCR value of 0.969 which means valid so that it can be concluded that the development of problem-based virtual laboratories on circulatory system material is suitable for use as a medium in the learning process in High SchoolPraktikum dalam pembelajaran biologi merupakan elemen penting yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mengamati, mencoba, dan menguji konsep-konsep ilmiah secara langsung. Namun, ada beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh praktikum konvensional di laboratorium fisik, seperti keterbatasan peralatan, biaya, dan waktu. Karena itu penggunaan teknologi diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya dengan laboratorium virtual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan laboratorium virtual berbasis masalah pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Laboratorium virtual ini tidak hanya menyajikan simulasi praktikum yang mendekati realitas, tetapi juga menghadirkan tantangan berupa masalah-masalah terkait peredaran darah yang perlu dipecahkan oleh siswa. Laboratorium dikembangkan dengan menu berisi kompetensi, materi, praktikum dan evaluasi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Research and Development (R &D) dengan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Angket pada 20 orang guru Biologi, dosen ahli dan siswa.     Application of Guided Inquiry Model with PASAGI Media to Improve Learning Outcomes on Cell Material

    Background: Social discrimination based on a person's ethnic and cultural background still often occurs in Indonesia, this is due to feelings of superiority as someone with a better background. There is a need to introduce culture and ethnicity through classroom learning, and low student learning outcomes are often found in cell material because this material is an abstract concept for students. Methods: Data collection uses test and non-test instruments, test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions and non-test instruments through response questionnaires. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Microsoft-Excel application. Results: Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, student learning outcomes increase and the N-gain value in cycle 1 is 79.36 and in cycle 2 is 89.39 with effective criteria. The student response questionnaire analyzed in cycle 1 as a whole had good criteria and in cycle 2 as a whole had very good criteria. Conclusion: The application of the inkuiri terbimbing model using PASAGI media can effectively improve student learning outcomes. Keywords : guided inquiry; PASAGI; learning outcome

    How to Develop Teaching Material to Promote Student’s Scientific Literacy Through Blended Learning at Junior High School?

    The purpose of this study was to develop teaching material to promote student’s scientific literacy through blended teaching material on junior high school. This teaching material was developed using the ADDIE design. Having analysed and designed steps, the online teaching material draft was then validated by five experts and twenty science teachers. Furthermore, the teaching material about the earth's atmosphere implemented to 38 junior high school students. Data collection uses scientific literacy tests, observation, and questionnaires. The analysis of data was carried out descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the teaching material has been valid based on the result of five experts and twenty teachers assessing. The teaching material on earth's atmosphere was able to promote students' scientific literacy in terms of students to identify atmospheric issues in life, make conclusions based on evidence, and understand of the concepts. Students also expressed satisfaction with the content and presentation of teaching material.     PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BERBASIS SOCIO-SCIENTIFIC ISSUES PADA MATERI BIOTEKNOLOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) pada materi bioteknologi yang dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian RD dengan desain ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate). Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTs Negeri 5 Cianjur pada siswa kelas IX. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar observasi, kuesioner, dan tes literasi sains. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil validasi terhadap aspek materi dan aspek kegrafisan oleh dosen ahli diperoleh hasil persentase rata-rata 100% dan validasi dari guru IPA dengan CVR dan CVI menunjukkan nilai rata-rata CVI 0,94 untuk aspek materi dan 0,98 untuk aspek kegrafisan, hal ini menunjukkan bahan ajar IPA berbasis SSI memiliki kriteria valid dan sangat sesuai untuk digunakan baik berdasar dosen ahli maupun guru IPA. Hasil respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan persentase rata-rata 85,31% dan 85,67, artinya baik guru dan siswa sangat setuju untuk menggunakan bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran bioteknologi kelas IX SMP/MTs. Hasil N-Gain tes literasi sains sebesar 0,60 artinya bahwa bahan ajar SSI cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains pada siswa

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan Demonstrasi Reciprocal untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Ekosistem Siswa SMP PGRI Suryakencana Cileungsi Kabupaten Bogor

    Abstract: This research was a collaboratively classroom action among researcher, observer, and researched object. The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes. The experiment was conducted from April to May 2016 in class VII H Junior High School PGRI Suryakencana. In this study there were 35 students. This class consisted of 17 female students and 18 male students with different characteristics. There are 4 stages for every cycle: planning, implementation, observartion, and reflection. After Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model and Reciprocal demonstration in cycle one was applied, student’s average score gained 70,11 with 62,82% for Minimum Mastery Criteria. In cycle two, it increased into 74,66 with 77,14% for Minimum Mastery Criteria. Moreover, student activity in learning process was increasing for every cycle. Cycle 1 gave 67,32%, meanwhile cycle 2 gave 79,29%. It collerated with increasing student’s enthusiasm. Based on the results it can be concluded that the application of Learning Model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) and Reciprocal Demonstration could improve learning outcomes of students of class VII H Junior School PGRI material Suryakencana ecosystem. Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara peneliti, observer, dan objek yang akan diteliti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan Mei tahun 2016 di kelas VII H di SMP PGRI Suryakencana. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 35 siswa. Terdiri atas 17 siswa perempuan dan 18 siswa laki-laki dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. Proses penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dalam setiap siklus terdapat empat tahap, antara lain: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan Model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan Demonstrasi Reciprocal pada siklus I menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 70,11 dengan persentase pencapaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum sebesar 62,82%. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 74,66, dengan persentase pencapaian Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum sebesar 77,14%. Pengamatan terhadap aktivitas siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I sebesar 67,32%. Pada siklus II antusias siswa lebih meningkat, yaitu mencapai 79,29%. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan Demonstrasi Reciprocal dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII H SMP PGRI Suryakencana materi ekosistem.     IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERBASIS MULTIPLE INTELLEGENCE DI SMA INKUSI SCHOOL OF HUMAN JATISAMPURNA-BEKASI

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence di SMA Inklusi School of Human Jatisampurna Bekasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Januari  – Juli 2018 dengan beberapa informan yaitu guru biologi, direktur sekolah, principal sekolah, kepala sekolah, kepala kurikulum, kepala ruang inklusi, buddy, siswa dan orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik terhadap subjek penelitian yang ada di lapangan dan diperoleh data yang berasal dari wawancara dan observasi, serta data dari studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yag dilakukan melalui analisis antar situs dan dalam situs, pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence dibagi menjadi 3 proses diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan pembelajaran dimulai dengan siswa melakukan tes MIR (multiple intellegence research) untuk melihat dominansi kecerdasan siswa. Kompetensi inti mengacu pada main subject yaitu character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. Aktivitas pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru menggunakan multistrategi mengajar dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian autentik terdiri dari afektif sikap, kognitif pengetahuan, psikomotorik keterampilan dengan laporan perkembangan siswa berupa raport portopolio yang berisi perkembangan character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods for the research subjects in the field and obtained data derived from interviews and observations, as well as data from documentation studies. Based on data analysis carried out through analysis between sites and on the site, biology learning based on multiple intelligence is divided into 3 processes including planning, implementing, and evaluating. Learning planning begins with students doing MIR (multiple intelligence research) tests to see the dominance of students' intelligence. Core competencies refer to the main subject, namely character building, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. Learning activities were carried out with a scientific approach. The implementation of teacher learning uses multi-strategic teaching in facilitating learning. Evaluation of learning uses authentic assessment consisting of affective attitudes, cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills with student development reports in the form of portfolio portfolios that contain the development of character building, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving.
