The revised method for retrieving daytime distributions of atomic oxygen and odd-hydrogens in the mesopause region from satellite observations
Atomic oxygen (O) and atomic hydrogen (H) in the mesopause region are critical species, governing chemistry, airglow, and energy budget. However, they cannot be directly measured by satellite remote sensing techniques and so inference techniques, by airglow observations, are used. In this work, we retrieved daytime O and H distributions at ~ 77 km–100 km from the data of observations by the SABER (Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry) instrument at the TIMED (Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics) satellite in 2003–2015. The retrieval approach considered the reaction H + O3 → O2 + OH in the ozone balance equation. Moreover, we revised all quenching and spontaneous emission coefficients according to latest published data. We then calculated daytime distributions of OH and HO2 at these altitudes with the use of their conditions of photochemical equilibrium

Retrieval of water vapor profile in the mesosphere from satellite ozone and hydroxyl measurements by the basic dynamic model of mesospheric photochemical system
We propose an indirect method for retrieving a number of significant minor gas constituents of the atmosphere. The technique is based on the use of so-called basic dynamic models of atmospheric photochemical systems simplified mathematically correctly in a special manner. It is applied to a mesospheric system describing day evolution of key minor gas constituents at these heights. We take as initial data experimental data of the CRISTA-MAHRSI satellite campaign of August 1997 during which ozone and hydroxyl (O<sub>3</sub> and OH) concentrations were measured simultaneously. It is demonstrated that the use of the basic dynamic model allows retrieval of vertical distribution (within the 53–85 km range of heights) of water vapor concentration that is one of the control parameters of the mesospheric photochemistry
Investigation of sedimentation analysis of suspensions with 20 % of the content halloysite clay
The paper describes the sedimentation analysis of the suspension. This allows us to get complete information about the particle size distribution used for protection against corrosion of pump parts covered with halloysite, thus giving a complete picture of its properties. Using this method is important in the calculation of concentrations when applied to anticorrosive coating. That in the future will increase the service life of parts on which corrosion liquid with halloysite was applied
Lateral distribution of high energy muons in EAS of sizes Ne approximately equals 10(5) and Ne approximately equals 10(6)
Muon energy spectra and muon lateral distribution in EAS were investigated with the underground magnetic spectrometer working as a part of the extensive air showers (EAS) array. For every registered muon the data on EAS are analyzed and the following EAS parameters are obtained, size N sub e, distance r from the shower axis to muon, age parameter s. The number of muons with energy over some threshold E associated to EAS of fixed parameters are measured, I sub reg. To obtain traditional characteristics, muon flux densities as a function of the distance r and muon energy E, muon lateral distribution and energy spectra are discussed for hadron-nucleus interaction model and composition of primary cosmic rays
Thomson Scattering of Coherent Diffraction Radiation by an Electron Bunch
The paper considers the process of Thomson scattering of coherent diffraction
radiation (CDR) produced by the preceding bunch of the accelerator on one of
the following bunches. It is shown that the yield of scattered hard photons is
proportional to N, where N is the number of electrons per bunch. A
geometry is chosen for the CDR generation and an expression is obtained for the
scattered photon spectrum with regard to the geometry used, that depends in an
explicit form on the bunch size. A technique is proposed for measuring the
