Interdiscursive nature of journalistic blog communication

    Get PDF
The paper discusses interdiscursivity as a specifying feature of journalism on blogs Journalistic blogs represent new communicative strategies of interaction with its audience and new approaches to construct its content. It is claimed in the paper that these innovations affect meaning structures of journalistic messages, since they are regarded as a combinative result of different discursive practices (visual, verbal and aural, political, journalistic, recreational, advertising etc., suggestive, informational, persuasive)ye

Synthesis and characterization of new bridged tolanes

    Get PDF
Approaches to novel diphenylacetylene derivatives and related compounds with restricted rotation of the phenyl rings have been developed. Since mutual overlapping of molecular orbitals specifies the electronic communication between aromatic π-systems, regulation of the conformation within a molecule gives control over conductive and photophysical properties of tolane. Amide- and ester bound tethers have been used. The first one resists aggressive factors better, compared with ester. Introduction of amide-functionalized tethers have been demonstrated by synthesis of two bridged tolanes; a novel double-bridged 1,4-bis(phenylethynyl)benzene (I) was prepared. In addition, synthetic approaches leading to multi-gram amounts of bifunctional tolanophanes are shown, ready for further derivatization. TIPS-acetylene derivatives possessed not only outstanding emissive, but also interest-evoking structural properties, expressed in folded cyclic dimers with electronically interacting chromophore units by means of π-π-stacking. Considering this, series of cyclic oligomers have been synthesized and investigated. From previous studies it was known, that in the solid state twisted tolanophanes planarize after excitation due to a special arrangement of the electronic states. Introduction of the second tether into the tolanophane molecule gives a more rigid molecule (II) and leads to a better understanding of the emissive properties of tolane chromophores. Compound II showed a twisted conformation in the excited state. Figure I. Selected synthesized and studied molecules. Further, bifunctional tolanophanes have been used for copolymerization (III). Bridged derivatives of 1,4-diphenyldiacetylene have been investigated, as they are usual defects in poly(para-phenyleneethynylene)s and can significantly affect their properties. Emissive ability of these substances appeared to be not distinct; they showed weak photophysical response on twisting

Economic Success and Organizational Culture of the Enterprise

    Get PDF
The article considers organizational culture as a factor of economic and human resources of the enterprise stability. Strong organizational culture is a decisive factor in reducing turnover, minimizing the risk of leakage of commercial information, increasing the stability of the organization in the external environment. Examines the main theoretical approaches to the study of organizational culture of both Russian and Western scientists

Специфика юго-западных окраин Ленинграда во время блокады (1941–1944)

During the siege of Leningrad its South-Western suburbs, which now consist of Kirovskiy and Krasnoselskiy districts, had the most unusual fates. Krasnoselskiy district was the only part of modern St. Petersburg which was seized by Germans. Its inhabitants suffered from forced displacements and terror politics of the occupants. Kirovskiy, on the other hand, formed first line of the Soviet defense, besides its factories tried to keep on working. But, nevertheless, the both districts shared common features: hunger, artillery bombardment (from different sides), total destruction of infrastructure, depopulation. After the war the both districts turned into a large construction site, where first projects of Soviet-style large-panel construction were implemented. Now the districts possess a great number of places of memory connected to the World War II – old pillboxes, soldier cemeteries, monuments, memorial plates. Most of streets here are named to remind us events of the siege of Leningrad and the World War II

Influence of annealing on nanocrystal formation in Ni amorphous alloy

    Get PDF
It is established that nanocrystals in the alloy samples increase in size with increasing annealing temperature. The rise of resistivity upon annealing at temperatures below 300°C and its significant decrease at higher temperatures is consistent with the change in the amorphous alloy microstructureyesBelgorod State Universit

Preprocessor based approach for cross-platform development with Qt quick components

    Get PDF
In the paper we analyze the obstacles of cross-platform mobile development involving Qt Quick Components library. We provide the classification of the most common issues of such a development and propose resolution for them with the use of the specially developed tool - QML preprocessor. Our approach is proven to be successful in development of two mobile applications supporting both Harmattan and Symbian platforms

Effective Project Management with Theory of Constraints

For multi-project structures, this tool includes all the elements of the same tool designated to be used in a one-project structures, plus a tool to synchronize the implementation of projects - "drum", which can be either physical (resource) or virtual (a rule which states that it is inefficient to work on more than six projects). Both structures have an additional element that provides control and monitoring, - buffer management. Project Management Critical Chain method requires periodic updating of the time set for the completion of the tasks

The influence of digital platforms and algorithms on legal regulation of competition

    Get PDF
The antitrust regulation faces challenges in the context of digitalization and algorithmization; several of them are analyzed in the article. The authors explore the influence of digital platforms and pricing algorithms on competitive environment, the practice of their application in view of monopolizing the market and the possibilities to resist such practice from the point of view of the antitrust legislation. They examine the approaches to regulating digital instruments of pricing in order to ensure fair competition. One of the approaches is based on the fact that there is no need to develop specific regulatory instruments due to the lack of information on the consequences of algorithmic pricing applied to competition. Another one implies checking every new pricing algorithm in order to establish its influence on competitive environment and allowing or prohibiting it based on that. The third approach suggests further control using new legal standards that differ from the current ones. Banning algorithmic pricing is viewed as unreasonable as the pricing itself becomes more economically effective. The question of responsibility is raised for the cases when cartels are formed as a result of the activity of computer software. It is concluded that the owners of the software must be held accountable for any actions of the algorithm, as no program can act of its free will, they are controlled by the creator or the right holder
