    Role of electronic correlations in the Fermi surface formation of Nax_xCoO2_2

    Band structure of metallic sodium cobaltate Nax_xCoO2_2 (xx=0.33, 0.48, 0.61 0.72) has been investigated by local density approximation+Hubbard UU (LDA+UU) method and within Gutzwiller approximation for the Co-t2gt_{2g} manifold. Correlation effects being taken into account results in suppression of the egβ€²e'_g hole pockets at the Fermi surface in agreement with recent angle-resolved photo-emission spectroscopy (ARPES) experiments. In the Gutzwiller approximation the bilayer splitting is significantly reduced due to the correlation effects. The formation of high spin (HS) state in Co dd-shell was shown to be very improbable.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figure

    The modern crisis economic conditions, under which majority of industrial enterprises of Ukraine perform their activity, the issues of planning suppliers of an industrial enterprise are one of the priority tasks of their further and strategic development. The current situation is such that the top management of industrial enterprises practically does not pay proper attention to reduction of the level of expenditures of industrial enterprises, that is why, the article offers to develop methods of planning suppliers of industrial enterprises as one of possible directions of optimisation of expenditures of the main type of activity of an industrial enterprise. The proposed methods of planning suppliers is as follows: 1) building up homogeneous groups of suppliers is done with the help of the methods of cluster analysis and allows allocation of smallest and biggest clusters; 2) economic interpretation of groups allows carrying out a detailed analysis of indicators values by each of clusters and relate suppliers to a relevant type and cluster from the point of view of their interaction with suppliers; 3) a model of group identification. Identification of the existing class of suppliers allows building up models for future forecasting the class of suppliers and determination of the correct relation of the supplier to the current class.     Disorder induced transition between s_+- and s_++ states in two-band superconductors

    We have reexamined the problem of disorder in two-band superconductors, and shown within the framework of the T-matrix approximation, that the suppression of T_c can be described by a single parameter depending on the intraband and interband impurity scattering rates. T_c is shown to be more robust against nonmagnetic impurities than would be predicted in the trivial extension of Abrikosov-Gor'kov theory. We find a disorder-induced transition from the s_{\pm} state to a gapless and then to a fully gapped s_{++} state, controlled by a single parameter -- the sign of the average coupling constant .     Application of aluminum nanopowder in hydrogen power engineering

    The results of researches on interaction of aluminum nanopowder with water have been given. It is shown, that in conditions of relatively low temperatures aluminum nanopowder totally cooperates with water, allocating "hot" hydrogen. The interaction process is accompanied by the chemical-mechanical effect, decrease of water boiling temperature and self-heating of reacting particles. The formed nanoporous materials have various chemical and phase structure. Advantages and disadvantages of aluminum nanopowder application for obtaining hydrogen are analyzed

    Two-instanton approximation to the Coulomb blockade problem

    We develop the two-instanton approximation to the current-voltage characteristic of a single electron transistor within the Ambegaokar-Eckern-Sch\"on model. We determine the temperature and gate voltage dependence of the Coulomb blockade oscillations of the conductance and the effective charge. We find that a small (in comparison with the charging energy) bias voltage leads to significant suppression of the Coulomb blockade oscillations and to appearance of the bias-dependent phase shift

    We study the appearance of powers of Hamilton cycles in pseudorandom graphs, using the following comparatively weak pseudorandomness notion. A graph GG is (Ξ΅,p,k,β„“)(\varepsilon,p,k,\ell)-pseudorandom if for all disjoint XX and YβŠ‚V(G)Y\subset V(G) with ∣X∣β‰₯Ξ΅pkn|X|\ge\varepsilon p^kn and ∣Y∣β‰₯Ξ΅pβ„“n|Y|\ge\varepsilon p^\ell n we have e(X,Y)=(1Β±Ξ΅)p∣X∣∣Y∣e(X,Y)=(1\pm\varepsilon)p|X||Y|. We prove that for all Ξ²>0\beta>0 there is an Ξ΅>0\varepsilon>0 such that an (Ξ΅,p,1,2)(\varepsilon,p,1,2)-pseudorandom graph on nn vertices with minimum degree at least Ξ²pn\beta pn contains the square of a Hamilton cycle. In particular, this implies that (n,d,Ξ»)(n,d,\lambda)-graphs with Ξ»β‰ͺd5/2nβˆ’3/2\lambda\ll d^{5/2 }n^{-3/2} contain the square of a Hamilton cycle, and thus a triangle factor if nn is a multiple of 33. This improves on a result of Krivelevich, Sudakov and Szab\'o [Triangle factors in sparse pseudo-random graphs, Combinatorica 24 (2004), no. 3, 403--426].     Basing factors for young innovative companies resulting from localization of foreign corporations

    The relevance of our research is due to the fact that foreign corporations’ technologies transfer is an efficient tool of achieving a high pace of economic development in Russia and its regions. Its success depends on the ability of economic actors to embrace innovations and their high innovative activity. The purpose of this study was the consideration of start-up factors of young innovative companies resulting from the localization of foreign corporations’ technologies and the identification of conditions conducive to accelerating the diffusion of innovation in local markets. During the study of the specifics of Russian start-ups, with the use of the methods such as analysis of documents, content analysis, observation, expert interviews, the following hypothesis was identified and justified: the emergence of new markets for an already developed and functioning innovation makes it possible to intensify the process of establishing new enterprises in the domestic environment. The novelty of the scientific problem is to identify and substantiate the main conditions and factors affecting the creation of a non-pioneer young innovative company in the Russian regional economy based on the experience and technologies of foreign corporations, including learning state of the investment climate and area’s business ecosystem. The article highlights the stages of transformation of business ideas of such enterprise into functioning business in a context of its design tools, such as: monitoring emerging consumer needs and turning them into business opportunities and business ideas; building business models, business planning. At this point the creation of a new organization is considered in conjunction with factors of regional economic environment.
