Ennek következtĂ©ben kritikusan lecsökkent az ottani populĂĄciĂł egyedszĂĄma, a 2017-es felmĂ©rĂ©s sorĂĄn mindössze 6 egyedet jelöltĂŒnk meg. Ugyanebben az Ă©vben viszont kedvezƑ idƑpontban törtĂ©nt a kaszĂĄlĂĄs, Ă­gy a lepkĂ©k repĂŒlĂ©si idejĂ©ben sok virĂĄgzĂł vĂ©rfƱ volt a terĂŒleten (915 virĂĄg). A nagyobb Ă©lƑhelyfoltban ennek Ă©ppen az ellenkezƑje törtĂ©nt, a 2017 elƑtti Ă©vekben a megfelelƑ idƑpontban törtĂ©nƑ kaszĂĄlĂĄsok következtĂ©ben stabil ĂĄllomĂĄnya volt a lep- kĂ©nek, Ă­gy a felmĂ©rĂ©s sorĂĄn 31 egyedet jelöltĂŒnk meg. 2017-ben viszont jĂșlius elejĂ©n kaszĂĄltĂĄk le a gyepet, Ă­gy a lepkĂ©k szaporodĂĄsi idejĂ©ben alig volt petĂ©zĂ©sre alkalmas virĂĄgzĂł vĂ©rfƱ a terĂŒleten (mindössze 76 virĂĄg). A faj mĂĄtrai ĂĄllomĂĄnyĂĄnak megƑrzĂ©se Ă©rdekĂ©ben lepke-ĂĄttelepĂ­tĂ©st vĂ©geztĂŒk. A virĂĄgzĂł vĂ©rfĂŒvet alig tartalmazĂł Ă©lƑhelyrƑl vittĂŒnk ĂĄt egyedeket az ebben bƑvelkedƑ rĂ©tre. Így tudtunk szaporodĂĄsi lehetƑsĂ©get biztosĂ­tani a lepkĂ©k szĂĄmĂĄra. 2018-ban megismĂ©teltĂŒk a vizsgĂĄlatainkat, hogy meggyƑzƑdhessĂŒnk a sikeressĂ©gĂŒnkrƑl. A kisebb Ă©lƑhelyen 22 egyed kerĂŒlt meg jelölĂ©sre, tehĂĄt jelentƑsen emelkedett a populĂĄciĂł egyedszĂĄma. A tĂĄpnövĂ©ny virĂĄgfejeinek szĂĄma is növekedett: az elƑbbi terĂŒleten 1198 db, az utĂłbbin 7018 db-ot szĂĄmoltunk össze. ----- The scarce large blue butterfly Maculinea teleius (BergstrĂ€sser, 1779) has a scattered distribution in the BĂŒkk National Park, NW Hungary. In the MĂĄtra area, they have only two populations remained in grassland patches close to each other near the village, Sirok. In these two meadows, we have carried out a capture-mark-recapture study, and also counted the number of great burnet, Sanguisorba officinalis L. flowers which can be useful for laying eggs. We started our fieldwork in the second half of the flying period after we found inadequate habitat management here. In the last few years, the smaller meadow was mowed in July, which is unfavorable for the scarce large blues. As a result, the number of individuals in the population is critically reduced. In 2017, we have marked only 6 individuals here. However, the mowing was done at the right time this year, so there were many flowering great burnets in the area at the time of the flight (915 flowers). The opposite happened in the larger habitat. Due to mowing at the right time in recent years, the scarce large blue has a stable population, so we can mark 31 individuals here. However, the meadow was mown in early July in 2017, so we could count just a few flowers (76 flowers). Because of these habitat management problems, we decided to make butterfly translocations. We have captured individuals in the larger meadow barely containing flowering plants, then we released them on the smaller plot rich in flowering great burnets. In 2018, we repeated our study, and 22 scarce large blue were marked in the smaller habitat. The number of flower heads of the host plant also increased: it was 1198 in the smaller plot, and 7018 in the larger one

    Mass migration of Hungarian Red Data Book species yellow-legged tortoiseshell - Nymphalis xanthomelas has been observed in June 2006, after a 20 years complete absence in the 1970-80s and very few recent records since the late 1990s. The migrant specimens might have originated from population explosion of colonies in South-Western Ukraine or Western Romania. Such occasional migrations can help the recolonization of its former habitats in Central-Europe

    The aim of our research is to analyze the ecological effects of light sources of different colors. Quantity and size of arthropods captured by light traps are continuously recorded by the Zoolog auto sampler, along with temperature and humidity data. By statistically analyzing large amounts of data, it is possible to estimate the amount of biomass removed by different types of lamps from their habitat, to monitor daily and longer-term activity changes, and to analyze the attractiveness of LEDs of different color temperatures. VizsgĂĄlataink sorĂĄn nĂ©hĂĄny fokozottan vĂ©dett, közössĂ©gi jelentƑsĂ©gƱ lepkefajnak jelentƑs egyedszĂĄmĂș ĂĄllomĂĄnyĂĄt fedeztĂŒk fel; a magyar tĂ©liaraszolĂłnak (Erannis ankeraria) eurĂłpai jelentƑsĂ©gƱ ĂĄllomĂĄnyai Ă©lnek a MĂĄtra dĂ©li rĂ©szĂ©nek molyhos tölgyeseiben (SzurdokpĂŒspöki, KisnĂĄna). EredmĂ©nyeink arra is rĂĄvilĂĄgĂ­tottak, hogy ezeken az Ă©lƑhelyeken egy sor, a pontomediterrĂĄn faunakörhöz tartozĂł ritka, vĂ©delmet Ă©rdemlƑ molyhostölgyes Ă©s sztyep-sziklagyeplakĂł faj is megtalĂĄlhatĂł, melyek igen Ă©rtĂ©kes lepkeközössĂ©get alkotnak. Ezen közössĂ©gek Ă©lƑhelyei jelenleg nem ĂĄllnak vĂ©delem alatt, fennmaradĂĄsukat több negatĂ­v hatĂĄs veszĂ©lyezteti. HosszĂș tĂĄvĂș megĂłvĂĄsuk csak fokozott terĂŒleti vĂ©delemmel lehetsĂ©ges.
