Disturbance of intracardiac hemodynamics in children with chronic rheumatic cardiac disease.
By means of Doppler echocardiography there have been studied disturbances of intracardiac hemodynamics in 44 children aged 8-17 years with chronic rheumatic cardiac disease and developed mitral aortal and combined heart defects, as well as in chronic rheumatic cardiac disease without developed valvar defect. Differential approach has been defined to administration of inhibitors of angiotensin-converting factor in rheumatic heart defects: developed insufficiency of mitral and/or aortal valves II-III stage leads to remodeling of the left heart portions with developing chronic insufficiency of blood circulation, being an index for prolonged, not less than a year usage of the angiotensin-converting factor. In the presence of isolated mitral regurgitation, I stage in children with chronic rheumatic cardiac disease usage of the angiotensin-converting factor may be cancelled due to insignificant disturbances of valvar hemodynamics and a small risk of developing blood circulation insufficiency. Timely sanation of chronic infection foci in nasopharynx (conservative and surgical treatment of chronic tonsillitis, adenoid vegetations, therapy of hemolytic streptococcus presence) decreases risk of developing rheumatic heart defect in children suffered acute rheumatic fever
Individual based model with competition in spatial ecology
We analyze an interacting particle system with a Markov evolution of
birth-and-death type. We have shown that a local competition mechanism
(realized via a density dependent mortality) leads to a globally regular
behavior of the population in course of the stochastic evolution.Comment: 22 page
Soliton dual comb in crystalline microresonators
We present a novel compact dual-comb source based on a monolithic optical
crystalline MgF multi-resonator stack. The coherent soliton combs generated
in two microresonators of the stack with the repetition rate of 12.1 GHz and
difference of 1.62 MHz provided after heterodyning a 300 MHz wide
radio-frequency comb. Analogous system can be used for dual-comb spectroscopy,
coherent LIDAR applications and massively parallel optical communications.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Charge distributions of Ra recoil ions produced in 12C+Pb fusion-evaporation reactions
Charge state distributions of the Ra recoil ions produced in the 12C+Pb fusion-evaporation reactions have been obtained by measuring their yields as a function of the high voltage applied to an electrostatic deflector. Well-defined two-humped yield curves for evaporation residues (ERs) were observed. Such observations can be explained by the different sets of charge states inherent in Ra recoil ions. These charge sets correspond to the equilibrated and nonequilibrated components, as earlier observed for evaporation residues produced in different reactions. The main parameters of the distributions (mean charge values, widths, and relative intensities) for both components have been estimated using Monte Carlo simulations of the transmission of the Ra recoil ions through the deflector. For the equilibrated component the values of the mean charge and width are close to those given by different empirical systematics. For the nonequilibrated component these parameters have been obtained for the first time. The additional nonequilibrated ionization is presumably due to the formation of inner shell vacancies produced by the internal conversion of nuclear isomeric transitions of ERs. Nonequilibrated charge parameters obtained for Ra recoil ions are compared to similar available experimental data and some theoretical predictions
Vlasov scaling for the Glauber dynamics in continuum
We consider Vlasov-type scaling for the Glauber dynamics in continuum with a
positive integrable potential, and construct rescaled and limiting evolutions
of correlation functions. Convergence to the limiting evolution for the
positive density system in infinite volume is shown. Chaos preservation
property of this evolution gives a possibility to derive a non-linear
Vlasov-type equation for the particle density of the limiting system.Comment: 32 page
