SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MAINTAIN USER PROFILE IN METAVERSE

    Get PDF
The present disclosure provides a method and system for maintaining user profile in metaverse. The system integrates user identity, wallets, integrated payment methods, subscriptions and access controls with various metaverse systems. Initially, user creates a digital identity on blockchain by verifying identity through a government-issued ID or similar secure means. This identity is used as a unique identifier within the metaverse and acts as a user profile. Further, these user profiles are used to implement access controls, ensuring that the users have the appropriate level of access to different areas of the metaverse systems. Thus, the present disclosure prevents the user from the need to remember credentials for authentication to use different metaverse systems

Enhancing Patch-Based Methods with Inter-frame Connectivity for Denoising Multi-frame Images

The 3D block matching (BM3D) method is among the state-of-art methods for denoising images corrupted with additive white Gaussian noise. With the help of a novel inter-frame connectivity strategy, we propose an extension of the BM3D method for the scenario where we have multiple images of the same scene. Our proposed extension outperforms all the existing trivial and non-trivial extensions of patch-based denoising methods for multi-frame images. We can achieve a quality difference of as high as 28% over the next best method without using any additional parameters. Our method can also be easily generalised to other similar existing patch-based methods

Structure-aware image denoising, super-resolution, and enhancement methods

Denoising, super-resolution and structure enhancement are classical image processing applications. The motive behind their existence is to aid our visual analysis of raw digital images. Despite tremendous progress in these fields, certain difficult problems are still open to research. For example, denoising and super-resolution techniques which possess all the following properties, are very scarce: They must preserve critical structures like corners, should be robust to the type of noise distribution, avoid undesirable artefacts, and also be fast. The area of structure enhancement also has an unresolved issue: Very little efforts have been put into designing models that can tackle anisotropic deformations in the image acquisition process. In this thesis, we design novel methods in the form of partial differential equations, patch-based approaches and variational models to overcome the aforementioned obstacles. In most cases, our methods outperform the existing approaches in both quality and speed, despite being applicable to a broader range of practical situations.

People’s participation in joint forest management in higher hills of Himachal Pradesh

Joint Forest Management (JFM) is an effort which involved people to participate for the protection, conservation and rehabilitation of forests whilst safeguarding the rights of forest dwellers. Women and other marginalized sections of the community need to be empowered to ensure their participation in JFM (Aggarwal and Chauhan, 2015). Such programmes while ensuring the conservation of flora and fauna, also provided stability for the agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and local cottage industries and thus, help in all round economic development (Bhatia, 2000). The present study analysed the people’s participation in different stages of JFM programmes in the higher hills of Himachal Pradesh (Sundernagar and Kullu forest division). The results showed that people of age group 40-60 years participated most in the JFM programme. The participation of the general category people was found highest followed by scheduled caste, other backward class and scheduled tribe. The literacy rate of the respondents was found to be 98.51 percent while the literacy index was found to be 2.51 representing level of education in between middle class and higher secondary. In both the regions participation of people was found maximum during maintenance stage followed by planning stage and implementation stage. The overall participation index was found to be 61.91 per cent. The capacity building through training and awareness can help in safeguarding livelihood and conservation efforts of JFM

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is one of the plantation crops with more life span, so suitability of a variety or hybrid for particular region may improve the productivity of the coconut. An experiment was carried out with seven hybrids and two varieties viz. Chandra Sankara (COD × WCT), Chandra Laksha (LCT x COD), VHC1 (ECT × MGD), VHC-2 (ECT × MYD), Kera Ganga (WCT × GBGD), Laksha Ganga (LCT × GBGD), Godavari Ganga (ECT x GBGD), Kera Chandra (Double Century) and Chandra Kalpa at Dr.YSRHUHorticultural Research Station, Ambajipeta, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema Dist., Andhra Pradesh. The experiment was initiated in 2002, in Randomized Block Design in three replicated blocks. The compiled data for six years (2015- 2021) revealed that, Godavari Ganga recorded significantly highest nut yield /palm/year (144.40 nuts) followed by VHC-2 (134.93 nuts) and Kera Ganga (133.33 nuts). Godavari Ganga recorded maximum copra yield of 3.20 t/ha and oil yield of 2.20 t/ha. Tender nut water quantity was recorded more (322.5 mL) in VHC-2 and Godavari Ganga. Due to its superior nut, copra and oil yield, Godavari Ganga and VHC-2 can be recommended for cultivation Andhra Pradesh
