Client Satisfaction Towards Quality of Health Services: an Assessment at Primary Healthcare of District Gujranwala
This survey designed to evaluate the satisfaction level and the factors that affect the patient satisfaction regarding health care delivery services with the aim to improve the services in the primary health care settings of Gujranwala. A Cross Sectional Study done on randomly selected patients attending the basic health units of Gujranwala, with more than18 years of age. Pretested structured "Liker scale questionnaire" was used for data collection. Out of total respondents, 62 (41.3%) clients were satisfied with the services provided by the basic health units of Gujranwala. The factors identified to determine patient satisfaction were accessibility of services, behavior of staff, health education, level of cleanliness, drug availability and miscellaneous services. Not a single ranked area of satisfaction noticed. Client\u27s occupation and income had significant relationship with the patient satisfaction level. Gender, age, and education of clients were not contributing factors; they not affect the client satisfaction level.Less than half clients were satisfied with the services provided by the basic health units. Management of health facilities needs to improve the services
Search for a Signal on QCD Critical Point in Central Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions
We discuss that the QCD critical point could appear in central collisions in
percolation cluster. We suggest using the nuclear transparency effect and the
one of the light nuclear production to identify the critical point.Comment: To appear in the proceedings of the 20th International Conference on

South Asian Muslim American Girl Power: Structures and Symbols of Control and Self Expression
South Asian Muslim American (SAMA) girls studied ethnographically in Chicago and more broadly in the United States negotiate these three components (South Asian, Muslim, and American) of identity across the spheres of home, Islamic institutions, and the public âAmericanâ realm. . Drawing on interviews and fieldwork at an Islamic school and within South Asian families and mosques, the authors illustrate how nascent âgirlâ power is evidenced in these contexts drawing on media representations, academic sources, and data drawn from participant observation. Sources of SAMA girlsâ expressions of confidence and power are selective use of identity markers, increased mastery of Islamic knowledge, and various subtle acts of resistance to norms imposed upon them within home and family interactions, Islamic spaces, and the American public sphere
Depositional Environment of Phosphorites of the Sonrai Basin, Lalitpur District, Uttar Pradesh, India
Phosphates are regarded as one of the most important fertilizer minerals used by man. In Sonrai basin of Lalitpur the phosphorites are found to occur as lenticular and detached bodies throughout the Formation of the Bijawar Group. Individual bodies range from a few meters to about 4 km in length, and width varies from thin bands to about 125 meter with P2O5 concentration ranging from 10 to 20%. The Paleoproterozoic Bijawar Group are overlain by the Archaean Bundelkhand Basement Complex and underlain by Vindhyan Supergroup. The occurrence of phosphorites is confined to the Sonrai Formation which consists of massive to brecciated phosphorite within the lower reddish shales, with at least three bands identified. Megascopic study reveals that the brecciated phosphorite is reddish brown in color and fine to medium grained with angular fragments of chert and quartz embedded in a groundmass of iron oxides and secondary silica intercalated with minor veins of chert and iron oxides. The phosphorite horizon in the Lalitpur area is associated with pink to white brecciated massive quartzite, shale, dolomite and limestone of the basal unit. The concentration trends of certain major oxides indicate that the phosphorites are more enriched in CaO, P2O5 and SiO2 than Al2O3, Fe2O3, TiO2, Na2O and K2O. The concentration trends of trace elements reveal that the phosphorites are moderately enriched in Co, Zn, Zr, Pb, U than in Sc, Ba, V, Cr, Ni, , Rb, Sr, Y and Th. The dispersion patter, correlation coefficient and mutual relationship of significant major oxides represented by plotted diagrams, indicate that SiO2, CaO, MgO are antipathetically related with P2O5. The relationship suggests a gradual replacement among these oxides during diagenesis. High values of P2O5 and CaO in the phosphorites indicate more concentration of apatite constituent. The difference in geochemical behavior of CaO and MgO may be due to ionic substitution of Ca+2 by MgO+2 in the apatite crystal lattice during alkaline environment of the basin. The strong negative relationship between P2O5 with Fe2O3 in phosphorites may be due to leaching and/mild weathering of iron from the ores and reprecipitation along with P2O5 in the pore spaces, cavities/voids, veins, etc in highly oxidizing marine environment of the basin. The minimum evidence of organic matter, absence of sulphide minerals and lower concentration of V, Ni, and Cu suggest that the phosphorites were deposited in an oxidizing environment with slightly anaerobic to highly aerobic facies
Empirical analysis of South African Muslimsâ acceptance of Takaful life insurance
Abstract: This study investigated the acceptance and purchasing of Takaful life insurance policies among South African Muslims using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) as the theoretical model. Data were obtained by administering a survey to 235 Muslims in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. Statistical analysis of the data was carried out using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences Research and SmartPls. The results suggest that attitude towards Takaful life insurance purchases and subjective norms are salient determinants of participantsâ behavioural intention towards Takaful insurance policies. Furthermore, actual behaviour towards this Islamic financial product is significantly predicted by behavioural intention. The findings of the study contribute to enhancing our understanding of Takaful life insurance policies acceptance and purchase among South African Muslims â an area that is sparsely investigated â and validate the TRA in a South African Muslim sample

Test particle motion in a gravitational plane wave collision background
Test particle geodesic motion is analysed in detail for the background
spacetimes of the degenerate Ferrari-Ibanez colliding gravitational wave
solutions. Killing vectors have been used to reduce the equations of motion to
a first order system of differential equations which have been integrated
numerically. The associated constants of the motion have also been used to
match the geodesics as they cross over the boundary between the single plane
wave and interaction zones.Comment: 11 pages, 6 Postscript figure
Synthesis, Characterization, DNA binding and Microbial Activity of Cobalt (III) Complexes of Mixed Ligands, Hydroxamic Acid and 1,10-Phenanthroline
New Co(III) complexes of mixed ligands, hydroxamic acid (L1 = AHA (acetohydroxamic acid), L2 = BHA (benzohydroxamic acid) and L3 = OHA (oxalohydroxamic acid) and 1, 10-phenanthroline (phen) were synthesized and characterized by NMR, IR, UV-visible, mass spectrometer, and elemental analysis. In the complexes, [Co(phen)2L]ClO4 (L = L1, L2, L3), the metal ion is coordinated by six atoms, two oxygen atoms from hydroxamic acid and 4N atoms from co-ligand 1, 10-phenanthroline to form octahedral Co(III) complexes. The interaction of these complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated by absorption spectroscopy measurement. The DNA-binding constants for complexes 1, 2, 3 are 2.47 x 106 M-1, 4.02 x 106 M-1, 2.23 x 106 M-1 respectively. Detailed analysis shows that these complexes bind with DNA through interaction binding. And the study of microbial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Energy efficient residential house wall system
The energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission by the residential housing sector are considered to be one of the largest in economically developed countries. The larger energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission not only put additional pressure on finite fossil fuel resources but also cause global warming and climate change. Additionally, the residential housing sector will be consuming more energy as the house demand and average house floor area are progressively increasing. With currently used residential house wall systems, it is hard to reduce energy consumption for ongoing house space heating and cooling. A smart house wall envelope with optimal thermal masses and insulation materials is vital for reducing our increasing energy consumption. The major aim of this study is to investigate thermal performance and energy saving potential of a new house wall system for variable climate conditions. The thermal performance modelling was carried out using commercially developed software AccuRateÂź. The findings indicate that a notable energy savings can be accomplished if a smart house wall system is used
