This updated checklist of Marchantiophyta (liverworts) of Andasibé (Périnet) region, Madagascar was compiled from the literature, from herbarium specimens and recent collections. A total of 222 species including 9 infraspecific taxa, from 62 genera are recorded. Five species: Cheilolejeunea ngongensis Malombe et Pócs, Cheilolejeunea unciloba (Lindenb.) Malombe, Heteroscyphus grandistipus (Steph.) Schiffn., Lejeunea angulifolia Mitt. and Kymatocalyx africanus Vána et Wigginton are newly reported for Madagascar. Detailed informations on species occurrences are provided as a basis for subsequent research on species distributions and conservation

International audienceAgonimia gargominyi (Verrucariaceae, Verrucariales) is described and illustrated from bark samples collected from Morane atoll (Tuāmotu-Gambier Islands, French Polynesia). It is characterized by the large superficial perithecia having a pale brown-colored ostiolar region, the 8-spored asci, and the relatively large lobed squamules. Micromorphology of the ascomata and the thalline squamules matches the genus Agonimia. Additionally, to accommodate the inclusion of this newly identified species, the existing comprehensive key encompassing all known Agonimia species worldwide has been modified and updated accordingly. Detailed illustrations supplement the description of Agonimia gargominyi

International audienceA systematic survey of lichens was performed in 2019 in four of the five territories constituting the French Scattered Islands (Europa, Juan de Nova, Glorioso Islands, and Tromelin), with focus on the genus Ramalina. Species were identified and described using morphological (macroscopic and microscopic) features and accurate chemical profiling method based on high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with diode-array detection and electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-DAD-MS). Five species are listed from these territories, among which two already described: Ramalina dumeticola and Ramalina ovalis, and three novelties described here: Ramalina gloriosensis, Ramalina hivertiana, and Ramalina marteaui. An identification key to a selection of corticolous similar species (with a solid thallus, shrubby or subpendulous at most, and branches flat to canaliculated) is provided
