A web-based dietary intervention in early pregnancy and neonatal outcomes: A randomized controlled trial
Background Maternal nutrition is a determinant of pregnancy outcomes. Few studies have evaluated the potential of online nutrition resources to modify behaviour. This randomized controlled trial aimed to determine whether access to a customized evidence-based nutrition website in pregnancy improved neonatal outcomes.
Methods Women \u3c18 weeks gestation were recruited at their convenience. The control group received standard care. In addition to standard care, the intervention group received access to an evidence-based nutrition website, customized to the preferences of pregnant women.
Results Of the 250 women, there were no differences in characteristics between the two groups. Of the women, 91.0% reported they make a conscious effort currently to eat a healthy diet. However, only 19.6% met dietary requirements for calcium, 13.2% for iron, 2.7% for folate and 2.3% for iodine. The most popular website section was pregnancy nutrition advice but engagement was not sustained. Access to the website was not associated with any improvement in clinical outcomes (P \u3e 0.05).
Conclusions We found that provision of a customized website providing nutrition information, did not improve neonatal outcomes. Future studies should explore whether redesign with website interactivity or embedding information on popular digital platforms sustains women’s engagement and modifies dietary behaviour
Documenting the Document: The Forensic Hospital Report and Its Knowledge Moves
Drawing on case files from a Canadian provincial review board tasked with determining the disposition of persons found ‘not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder’, we explore the role of the forensic hospital report in the production of medico-legal risk knowledges. Through a detailed case study, we show how the report's content and particular material form allow the Board to produce the ‘significantly threatening individual’ – the very thing the Board (and report) are meant to presuppose. We therefore call on scholars to document their documents, and, in the spirit of actor-network theory (ANT), to analytically treat socio-legal objects as active participants in knowledge's creation. By accounting for the ‘knowledge moves’ the hospital report might allow, encourage, or prohibit human actors to make, we hope even ANT sceptics can use these tools to better understand various legal decision-making processes and their effects
Relational Hidden Variables and Non-Locality
We use a simple relational framework to develop the key notions and results
on hidden variables and non-locality. The extensive literature on these topics
in the foundations of quantum mechanics is couched in terms of probabilistic
models, and properties such as locality and no-signalling are formulated
probabilistically. We show that to a remarkable extent, the main structure of
the theory, through the major No-Go theorems and beyond, survives intact under

Sentiment analysis and the impact of employee satisfaction on firm earnings
Prior text mining studies of corporate reputational sentiment based on newswires, blogs and Twitter feeds have mostly captured reputation from the perspective of two groups of stakeholders – the media and consumers. In this study we examine the sentiment of a potentially overlooked stakeholder group, namely, the firm’s employees. First, we present a novel dataset that uses online employee reviews to capture employee satisfaction. We employ LDA to identify salient aspects in employees’ reviews, and manually infer one latent topic that appears to be associated with the firm’s outlook. Second, we create a composite document by aggregating employee reviews for each firm and measure employee sentiment as the polarity of the composite document using the General Inquirer dictionary to count positive and negative terms. Finally, we define employee satisfaction as a weighted combination of the firm outlook topic cluster and employee sentiment. The results of our joint aspect-polarity model suggest that it may be beneficial for investors to incorporate a measure of employee satisfaction into their method for forecasting firm earnings
DNAJB12 and Hsp70 triage arrested intermediates of N1303K-CFTR for endoplasmic reticulum-associated autophagy
The transmembrane Hsp40 DNAJB12 and cytosolic Hsp70 cooperate on the endoplasmic reticulum's (ER) cytoplasmic face to facilitate the triage of nascent polytopic membrane proteins for folding versus degradation. N1303K is a common mutation that causes misfolding of the ion channel CFTR, but unlike F508del-CFTR, biogenic and functional defects in N1303K-CFTR are resistant to correction by folding modulators. N1303K is reported to arrest CFTR folding at a late stage after partial assembly of its N-terminal domains. N1303K-CFTR intermediates are clients of JB12-Hsp70 complexes, maintained in a detergent- soluble state, and have a relatively long 3-h half-life. ER-associated degradation (ERAD)- resistant pools of N1303K-CFTR are concentrated in ER tubules that associate with autophagy initiation sites containing WIPI1, FlP200, and LC3. Destabilization of N1303K-CFTR or depletion of JB12 prevents entry of N1303K-CFTR into the membranes of ER-connected phagophores and traffic to autolysosomes. In contrast, the stabilization of intermediates with the modulator VX-809 promotes the association of N1303K-CFTR with autophagy initiation machinery. N1303K-CFTR is excluded from the ER-exit sites, and its passage from the ER to autolysosomes does not require ER-phagy receptors. DNAJB12 operates in biosynthetically active ER microdomains to triage membrane protein intermediates in a conformation-specific manner for secretion versus degradation via ERAD or selective-ER-associated autophagy
Electronic and Structural Properties of a 4d-Perovskite: Cubic Phase of SrZrO
First-principles density functional calculations are performed within the
local density approximation to study the electronic properties of SrZrO, an
insulating 4d-perovskite, in its high-temperature cubic phase, above 1400 K, as
well as the generic 3d-perovskite SrTiO, which is also a d^0-insulator and
cubic above 105 K, for comparison reasons. The energy bands, density of states
and charge density distributions are obtained and a detailed comparison between
their band structures is presented. The results are discussed also in terms of

Infrared Features of the Landau Gauge QCD
The infrared features of Landau gauge QCD are studied by the lattice
simulation of and . We
adopt two definitions of the gauge field; 1) linear 2) and
measured the gluon propagator and ghost propagator. Infrared singularity of the
gluon propagator is less than that of tree level result but the gluon
propagator at 0 momentum remains finite. The infrared singularity of ghost
propagator is stronger than the tree level. The QCD running coupling measured
by using the gluon propagator and the ghost propagator has a maximum
at around and decreases as approaches 0.
The data are analyzed in use of formula of the principle of minimal
sensitivity(PMS), the effective charge method and the contour-improved
perturbation method, which suggest necessity of the resummation of perturbation
series in the infrared region together with existence of the infrared fixed
point. Kugo-Ojima parameter saturates at about -0.8 in contrast to the

The orbit and companion of PSR J1622-0315: variable asymmetry and a massive neutron star
The companion to PSR J1622-0315, one of the most compact known redback millisecond pulsars, shows extremely low irradiation despite its short orbital period. We model this system to determine the binary parameters, combining optical observations from the New Technology Telescope in 2017 and the Nordic Optical Telescope in 2022 with the binary modeling code ICARUS. We find a best-fit neutron star mass of 2.3 ± 0.4 M⊙, and a companion mass of 0.15 ± 0.02 M⊙. We detect for the first time low-level irradiation from asymmetry in the minima as well as a change in the asymmetry of the maxima of its light curves over five years. Using starspot models, we find better fits than those from symmetric direct heating models, with consistent orbital parameters. We discuss an alternative scenario where the changing asymmetry is produced by a variable intrabinary shock. In summary, we find that PSR J1622-0315 combines low irradiation with variable light-curve asymmetry and a relatively high neutron star mass

Service recovery strategies have been identified as a critical factor in the success of. service organizations. This study develops a conceptual frame work to investigate how specific service recovery strategies influence the emotional, cognitive and negative behavioural responses of . consumers., as well as how emotion and cognition influence negative behavior. Understanding the impact of specific service recovery strategies will allow service providers' to more deliberately and intentionally engage in strategies that result in positive organizational outcomes. This study was conducted using a 2 x 2 between-subjects quasi-experimental design. The results suggest that service recovery has a significant impact on emotion, cognition and negative behavior. Similarly, satisfaction, negative emotion and positive emotion all influence negative behavior but distributive justice has no effect
