3. Uma gestualidade para Kattrin, personagem da peça Mãe Coragem e seus filhos, de Bertolt Brecht

Resumo Organizado na forma epistolar, trata-se de um estudo de Mãe Coragem e seus filhos, de Bertolt Brecht, tendo como foco a construção de uma gestualidade para a personagem Kattrin, de acordo com os princípios do épico brechtiano. Investe-se claramente na certeza de que a teoria brechtiana está indissociada da cena em que ela se resolve. Interactive Effects of 1, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and Soy Protein Extract (SPE) on Oral Cancer Growth In Vitro: Evidence for Potential Functional Relationships

ABSTRACTBackground: Previous studies have found specific soy isoflavones (Genistein, Daidzein, Glycitein) demonstrate anti-tumor properties against several cancer types, including oral cancer. Few studies have evaluated whole soy extract, containing a combination of these isoflavones and other bioreactive compounds, which may function synergistically and more effectively against oral cancers. Preliminary work by this group has now demonstrated whole soy protein extract (SPE) inhibits oral cancer cell growth specifically and selectively, through independent cell-cycle and apoptotic pathways. However, more recent evidence now suggests that ingestion of vitamin D3, either in dietary foods or supplements may potentiate the activity of soy components and their anti-tumor effects.Objective: The primary goal of this study was to investigate the interactive and inter-connected effects of 1, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 administration with the anti-proliferative effects of whole soy protein extract (SPE) on oral cancer and normal cell lines in vitro.Methods: Three oral squamous cell carcinoma cell lines (SCC15, SCC25, and CAL27) were treated with 1, 25-dihydroxy Vitamin D3 at physiological concentrations (10-125 nmol). Cell growth was then compared with cell treatment using soy protein extract (SPE) within the normal physiologic range (0 - 10 /L). Interactive effects were then evaluated using co-administration of SPE and 1, 25-dihydroxy Vitamin D3. Quantitative RT-PCR was performed at various time points to determine any changes in mRNA expression for key cell cycle and apoptotic signaling pathway regulators, including p53, c-myc, ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), caspase-2, caspase-8, and bax.Results: Administration of 1, 25-dihydroxy Vitamin D3 induced distinct dose-dependent, growth-inhibitory effects in all three oral cancer cell lines examined. These inhibitory effects were comparable to the overall range of growth inhibition induced by SPE. However, the combined effects of co-administration were far greater, suggesting the presence of synergistic relationships between these components. In addition, these results indicate that either treatment alone appeared to modulate mRNA expression of oral cancer cell-cycle promoters c-myc and ODC, as well as the caspase-dependent apoptosis pathway, while only 1, 25-dihydroxy Vitamin D3 administration appeared to influence the bax pathway.Conclusion: These results suggest that co-administration with 1, 25-dihydroxy Vitamin D3 and SPE may enhance their anti-tumor effects. This study may help to explain, in part, why balanced diets rich in fruits, vegetables, and soy protein, are associated with protection against development and progression of oral cancers, although further study is needed to develop specific public health recommendations for oral cancer treatment and prevention.Key words: vitamin D, soy extract, whole soy protein, oral cancer, growth inhibition

Guarda compartilhada: legitimação social para o exercício da paternidade?

The present study carries out a literature review whose objective is to discuss the shared custody and its role as a social anchor for the exercise of paternity. Questions about the gender transformations of the contemporary paternity and masculinity and legislation dealing with custody of minor children after marital separation. Starting from the assumption that that the legal norms in Family Law are strongly influenced by the social content, we sought to investigate how the legislation on the custody of children, when trying to follow the processes of social transformations, can function as a legitimator for the man to exercise paternity. Are difficulties and questions related to the exercise of paternal care after the marital separation, considering the single-parent custody model and the recent law of shared custody. Shared custody is considered an anchor social security, guaranteed by the State, for the exercise of paternity, in the sense of guarantee both the mother's and father's place after separation.O presente estudo realiza uma revisão bibliográfica cujo objetivo é discutir a guarda compartilhada e seu papel de ancoragem social para o exercício da paternidade. São discutidas questões acerca das transformações de gênero da paternidade e da masculinidade contemporâneas e das legislações que tratam da guarda dos filhos menores após a separação conjugal. Partindo do pressuposto de que as normas jurídicas no Direito de Família são fortemente influenciadas pelos conteúdos sociais, procurou-se investigar como a legislação acerca da guarda dos filhos, ao tentar acompanhar os processos de transformações sociais, pode funcionar como um legitimador para que o homem exerça a paternidade. São levantadas dificuldades e questões relativas ao exercício do cuidado paterno após a separação conjugal, considerando o modelo de guarda monoparental e a recente lei de guarda compartilhada. A guarda compartilhada é considerada uma ancoragem social, avalizada pelo Estado, para o exercício da paternidade, no sentido de se garantir tanto o lugar da mãe quanto o do pai após a separação

Em busca de uma pedagogia dos afetos e de uma peça-meditação

Reflections on experiences in the intertwining between Theater and Spirituality, covering the fields of Pedagogy and the Scene - both seen as fertile territories for the unleashing of processes of self-knowledge that reverberate in the convivial relationships, perceptions and acts of creation. A pedagogy of affections is envisioned and the scene as a devotional act, as a contemplative practice, as a meditation-play.Reflexiones sobre experiencias en el entrelazamiento entre Teatro y Espiritualidad, englobando los campos de la Pedagogía y la Escena, entendidos como territorios fértiles para el desencadenamiento de procesos de autoconocimiento que repercuten en las relaciones de convivencia, percepciones y actos de creación. DO YOU TRAIN OR REHEARSE? DICHOTOMIES IN THE CIRCUS FIELD AND PROPOSALS FOR LEARNING / CREATION / PERFORMANCE FROM ELEMENTS OF THE LABAN / BARTENIEFF SYSTEM

O artigo apresenta uma indicação artístico-pedagógica para o artista circense, que se dá com base nos princípios, conceitos e práticas do Sistema Laban/Bartenieff. A observação de alunos e alunas da Escola Nacional de Circo Luiz Olimecha, no Rio de Janeiro, um microcosmo significativo do circo no Brasil, fez ver a dicotomia, comum no campo circense - e não apenas na Escola, mas também em outros espaços de ensino assim como entre artistas profissionais - que distingue procedimentos técnicos de artísticos. Elementos do Sistema Laban/Bartenieff mostram-se eficientes na solução de tal dicotomia, por oferecerem referenciais que sustentam as duas instâncias, permitindo que se elabore uma metodologia em que são superadas as lacunas entre técnica e arte, treinamento e criação. Palavras-chavesPedagogia circense. Sistema Laban/Bartenieff.This article introduces an artistic and pedagogical approach to circus performers, which is based on the principles, concepts and practices of the Laban/Bartenieff System. Students were observed at the National Circus School Luiz Olimecha, in Rio de Janeiro, which is a relevant microcosm of circus in Brazil. The observation showed the recurrent dichotomy in the circus field which is present not only at the School, but also in other teaching spaces and among professional artists: the distinction between technique and artistic procedures. Elements from the Laban/Bartenieff System efficiently address such dichotomy by offering references that support both instances, allowing the elaboration of a methodology in which the gaps between technique and art, trainning and creation are bridged. KeywordsCircus pedagogy.
