Having presented the sources and sketched the theoretical background the author goes on to discuss Norwegian equivalents of the Polish accusative within the above-mentioned categories

Rodzinna czy instytucjonalna przestrzeń opieki nad populacją seniorów – kontekst procesów migracyjnych

The process of aging in most societies in Europe is observed. Individual states face the challenges of providing care to increasing number of elderly people. Traditionally, the most important care-giver is family. In many countries, including Poland, an increase of female migrants is observed, what is one of the factor influencing the decline of care-capital in families. The article discusses the problem of changes of care-giving systems in aging Europe in the context of migration processes. The authors ask questions concerning the range and form of the participation of migrants who live in transnational social space in caring for elderly members of their families.W Europie obserwuje się proces starzenia się większości społeczeństw. Państwa stoją przed trudnym wyzwaniem zapewnienia opieki coraz większej populacji ludzi starych. Tradycyjnie najważniejszym dawcą opieki jest rodzina. W wielu krajach, w tym w Polsce, obserwuje się wzrost liczby emigrujących kobiet, co jest jednym z czynników wpływających  na zmniejszenie kapitału opiekuńczego rodzin. Artykuł podejmuje problem zmian kierunku świadczeń opiekuńczych w starzejącej się Europie w kontekście procesów migracyjnych. Stawia pytania o zakres i formę udziału migrantów funkcjonujących w transnarodowej przestrzeni społecznej w opiece nad starymi członkami rodzin.
