INVESTIGATION OF GALL INDUCING CYNIPIDAE (INSECTA: HYMENOPTERA) SPECIES ON QUERCUS SPECIES IN THE INLAND WESTERN ANATOLIAN REGION

.Türkiye'nin İç Batı Anadolu bölgesinde yer alan Afyon, Denizli, Kütahya ve Uşak illerinde 2007-2009 yıllarının Nisan-Eylül ayları arasında yapılan arazi çalışmalarında mevcut meşe türleri üzerinde Cynipidae familyasına ait galler toplanmış ve laboratuar ortamına taşınmıştır. Laboratuardaki yetiştirme ortamında gallerin gelişmesi ve ergin çıkışı beklenmiş, çalışmalar sonucunda 34 türe ait 985 ergin elde edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda araştırma bölgesinden Cynipini tribusundan 11 cinse ait 65 tür, Synergini tribusundan 1 cinse ait 1 tür olmak üzere toplam 66 tür tespit edilmiştir. Tesbit edilen bu türlerden 10 tanesinin Türkiye Faunası için yeni kayıt oldukları belirlenmiştir. Bu türler Andricus burgundus, Andricus quadrilineatus, Andricus crispator, Andricus superfetatitonis, Andricus vindobonensis, Aphelonyx persica, Chilaspis mayri, Cynips disticha, Neuroterus obtectus ve Neuroterus saliens'dir. Buna ilaveten Andricus cinsine ait 17 tür, Callirhytis cinsine ait 2 tür, Chilaspis cinsine ait 1 tür, Cynips cinsine ait 3 tür, Dryocosmus cinsine ait 1 tür, Neuroterus cinsine ait 5 tür ve Trigonaspis cinsine ait 1 tür olmak üzere toplam 30 tür çalışma alanından ilk kez kaydedilmiştir. Her bir türün yayılışı Türkiye ve dünya yayılışları olmak üzere iki ayrı kategoride verilmiştir. Ayrıca gallerin bulundukları yere ve morfolojik özelliklerine göre gal tayin anahtarı oluşturulmuştur. Türlerin araştırma alanındaki yayılışı her bir tür için ayrı bir harita üzerinde gösterilmiştir.Cynipidae family galls on oak species were collected and carried to laboratory condition, in the Inland Western Anatolian including Afyon, Denizli, Kütahya and Uşak provinces between April-September in 2007-2009. The galls were checked on laboratory condition and obtained 985 adult wasp specimens belong to 34 species. In this study from study area from Cynipini tribus 65 species belong to 11 genus and from Synergini tribus 1 species belong to 1 genus was recorded. 10 of determined these species were the first time recorded from Turkey. This species are Andricus burgundus, Andricus quadrilineatus, Andricus crispator, Andricus superfetatitonis, Andricus vindobonensis, Aphelonyx persica, Chilaspis mayri, Cynips disticha, Neuroterus obtectus and Neuroterus saliens. Furthermore, 17 species belong to Andricus genus, 2 species belong to Callirhytis genus, 1 species belong to Chilaspis genus, 3 species belong to Cynips genus, 1 species belong to Dryocosmus genus, 5 species belong to Neuroterus genus and 1 species belong to Trigonaspis genus were the first time recorded from study area. Distributions of the each species were given in two different category as distributions in Turkey and world. According to the location of the galls on hosts and gall structure was made key to galls. Three new species of herb gall wasps (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) from Turkey

Three new species of herb gall wasps (Cynipidae: Aulacideini and Phanacidini) are described from Turkey. Aulacidea turguti sp. nov. induces galls on Hieracium patentissimum Freyn &amp; Sint. ex Freyn, 1895 (Asteraceae) and was collected in Gümüşhane province, Phanacis ciceki sp. nov. and Phanacis urhani sp. nov. were collected in Gümüşhane and Ordu Provinces, the former inducing galls on Picris sp. and the latter on Cirsium vulgare (Savi) Ten., 1835–36 (Asteraceae). SEM images, gall photos, distribution, biology, and diagnostic morphological characteristics of the three new species are provided.</p
