Informal education in the Existential hagiotherapy course for the general public

    No full text
The diploma thesis focuses on informal education in the Existential hagiotherapy course. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis and analysis of professional literature in the field of lifelong and informal adult education and existential hagiotherapy. It presents strategic documents in the field of non-formal education, religious and spiritual literature as well as existential hagiotherapy. Based on this analysis, basic terms are defined and elements of spiritual education of adults are specified, which enable better orientation in the text of the diploma thesis. The diploma thesis represents the possibilities of resocialization and re- education of persons from a disadvantaged environment, e.g. persons serving a prison sentence. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the processing and evaluation of the data obtained in the Existential Hagiotherapy course using semi-structured interviews with course participants and therapists, a description of the course and its practical use for the personal development of course participants. The empirical part summarizes the participants' expectations from the Existential Hagiotherapy course for their personal and professional development before completing the course, as well as the impact on their professional and personal life after a..

Ethicotherapy in the concept of Ctibor Bezděk. Problems of human moral life and health.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to point out the connections between the moral life of a person and his state of health. This is a current topic of applied ethics, which deals with the relationship between ethical behavior and its consequences in health and disease therapy. The work deals with the life and work of Ctibor Bezděk, who is considered by the professional public to be the founder of ethics therapy. The diploma thesis introduces the concepts of ethics therapy and tries to bring the meaning of his work to the present day with an understandable approach. The diploma thesis also points out the importance of moral balance in various areas of our lives, the role of faith in God and the trust we place in him in the dynamics of health and disease. The method used in the diploma thesis is the analysis of Ctibor Bezděk's texts, the systematic arrangement into the topic of the thesis and the updating of his legacy. Calcareous nannoplankton and foraminiferal response to global Oligocene and Miocene climatic oscillations: a case study from the Western Carpathian segment of the Central Paratethys

The reactions of foraminiferal and calcareous nannoplankton assemblages to global warming and cooling events in the time intervals of ca. 27 to 19 Ma and 13.5 to 15 Ma (Oligocene and Miocene) were studied in subtropical epicontinental seas influenced by local tectonic and palaeogeographic events (the Central Paratethys). Regardless of these local events, global climatic processes significantly influenced the palaeoenvironment within the marine basin. Warm intervals are characterized by a stable, humid climate and a high-nutrient regime, due primarily to increased continental input of phytodetritus and also locally due to seasonal upwelling. Coarse clastics deposited in a hyposaline environment characterize the marginal part of the basin. Aridification events causing decreased riverine input and consequent nutrient decreases, characterized cold intervals. Apparent seasonality, as well as catastrophic climatic events, induced stress conditions and the expansion of opportunistic taxa. Carbonate production and hypersaline facies characterize the marginal part of the basins. Hypersaline surface water triggered downwelling circulation and mixing of water masses. Decreased abundance or extinction of K-specialists during each cold interval accelerated their speciation in the subsequent warm interval. Local tectonic events led to discordances between local and global sea-level changes (tectonically triggered uplift or subsidence) or to local salt formation (in the rain shadows of newly-created mountains)

Details regarding seawater temperature and isotopic composition of seawater in the Central Paratethys, during the Miocene epoch, are not well known. Here we present an insight based on results from a combination of Mg/Ca, δ18O and δ13C on foraminifera from the shallow core (LOM-1) representing the time interval of ~ 14.4 to 14.36 Ma. Globigerinoides trilobus, Globigerina bulloides, Cibicidoides spp. and Melonis pompilioides were chosen for analysis due to their variable ecological preferences within the water column and on the sea floor. We assessed problems concerning diagenetic alteration of foraminiferal calcite by using a single test approach when analysing δ18O and δ13C. Paleotemperature ranges turned out to be comparable with modern subtropical regions with no cooling trend as was expected at this period following the Middle Miocene Climatic Optimum. However, we find an interesting offset between the benthic species temperature response that is likely related to the different life-strategies of those species. Based on a combination of mentioned proxies it was possible to partly reconstruct δ18Oseawater for the studied locality and compare it with Mg/Ca derived temperature to obtain a possible correlation between temperature and salinity. We also investigated differences in surface and bottom water hydrography in comparison with the Mediterranean, and distinguish their different hydrographies. In addition, it was possible to identify dissimilar origins of surface and bottom water masses based on comparison of their isotopic composition
