Background: India is a developing country and is on the road of rapid progress, in every aspect. So, to further boost the development process, India joined many other developing countries and showed an intent to promote a cashless economy. However, this penetration is not much in the rural areas which constitute the building blocks of the country. Awareness regarding digital transaction schemes of government of India is imperative to success of such schemes. Hence, the current study for assessing the awareness of the digital transaction schemes and finding out the sources in their implementation will help cater these issues. Methods: A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted among 60 respondents belonging to different age groups, socio economic strata and with different education status, to explore the awareness and acceptance percentage of respondents in rural block Paragraph in relation to digital transaction schemes and methods and the their sources of information. Study was done in three-month duration from1st July 2018 to 30th September 2018.Results: It was found that the awareness for mobile banking among all the age groups was a massive 93.36% while that of the Digital Dakiya scheme is a meagre 8.30%.It was inferred from the study that social interaction was the major information source (51%) and there was a significant association between the use of mobile banking and younger age of the individual. Conclusions: Awareness among the older population and rural females is lesser as compared to counterparts and was massive for mobile banking. Disparity about awareness the of schemes points that overall usage needs to be promoted.

Background: Intrauterine devices are convenient, long term, reversible means of contraceptive. They are user friendly due to one-time application, ease of removal and immediate return of fertility on its removal. The Immediate Postpartum IUD is inserted in women within 48 hours, after normal delivery. The study aims to understand factors responsible for making IUD as the contraceptive of choice. It also identifies various social, demographic factors responsible for making IUD as the contraceptive of choice. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was done using pretested questionnaire. In total 470 subjects were interviewed. The data were collected and compiled using MS-excel and analyzed by using Epi info-7. Data is presented in terms of proportions. Results: The acceptance of IUD as a contraceptive was not statistically associated with age & income of the user. Acceptance for IUD increased with literacy (P = 0.003). Almost 77.8% users were satisfied by the IUD. In total, 66.68% users, who continued using IUD did not feel any discomfort. The compliance of IUD was significantly associated with the discomfort caused (P = 0.0008) which was found to be most important reason for its removal. The commonest reason for adoption of IUD was a long duration of its use. It was seen that 23.40% previous contraceptive users and 39.41% new IUD users accepted it as contraceptive. Its acceptance is especially more in previous IUD users. Conclusions: Immediate post-partum IUCD has high acceptability and more than 75% users are satisfied and consider it as a contraceptive option.

eNavigate: A Survey On Effective and Efficient User Website Navigation

Web Structure Improvement has attracted much attention now days. The large websites such as E-commerce, universities etc. have lots of pages visited by users daily. The users needed to be navigated effectively and efficiently throughout the website. Each user has its own set of target pages where the stay time is larger than that of other pages. While making website structure improvements the web master must consider the set of target pages of the users. The users’ web log must be maintained at the server side which further has to be divided into session and mini sessions. These mini sessions provides the inputs to extract the target pages of a specific user. The improvement in website must be done under some circumstances. The newly added links must satisfy some criteria such as how many number of links can be added. Previous literature provides some meaningful considerations about static and dynamic websites. The effective website structure improvements along with the set of target pages can be efficiently designed with static and informative websites while it’s difficult to consider the target pages in dynamic one. The structure optimization can be done with minimization or maximization strategies. Here in this survey paper we studied some previously published journals to get better knowledge about the web structure improvements for effective user navigation

Impact of chronic stress protocols in learning and memory in rodents: systematic review and meta-analysis

The idea that maladaptive stress impairs cognitive function has been a cornerstone of decades in basic and clinical research. However, disparate findings have reinforced the need to aggregate results from multiple sources in order to confirm the validity of such statement. In this work, a systematic review and meta-analyses were performed to aggregate results from rodent studies investigating the impact of chronic stress on learning and memory. Results obtained from the included studies revealed a significant effect of stress on global cognitive performance. In addition, stressed rodents presented worse consolidation of learned memories, although no significantly differences between groups at the acquisition phase were found. Despite the methodological heterogeneity across studies, these effects were independent of the type of stress, animals' strains or age. However, our findings suggest that stress yields a more detrimental effect on spatial navigation tests' performance. Surprisingly, the vast majority of the selected studies in this field did not report appropriate statistics and were excluded from the quantitative analysis. We have therefore purposed a set of guidelines termed PROBE (Preferred Reporting Orientations for Behavioral Experiments) to promote an adequate reporting of behavioral experiments. This work was funded by the European Commission (FP7) "SwitchBox" (Contract HEALTH-F2-2010-259772) project and co-financed by the Portuguese North Regional Operational Program (ON.2 - O Novo Norte) under the National Strategic Reference Framework (QREN), through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), and by Fundacao Calouste Gulbenkian (Portugal) (Contract grant number: P-139977; project "Better mental health during ageing based on temporal prediction of individual brain ageing trajectories (TEMPO)"). 426-430Refineries Residual Fuel Oil (RFO) and Bakelite (BL) and were co-pyrolyzed together using catalyst ZSM-5 under the atmospheric pressure with different mixing ratios of the feedstocks. The TGA analysis shows that most of the degradation take place between the temperature range of 250-400oC. The studies were carried out at two different temperatures of 500oC and 600oC using a batch reactor with different blended ratios, with blended feedstocks to catalyst ratio of 4:1. The effects of the two variables i.e. temperature and blending ratios among the two feedstocks, in terms of the products yield of liquid fuel, gas, coke and conversion were determined. The blending ratio of 4:1 (RFO: BL) yielding highest conversion of 76 wt. % at 600oC was found to be the most favourable condition in this investigation

No full text
33-41Chyawanprash is a traditional polyherbal formulation which is widely, used as tonic, rejuvenator, anabolic, immunomodulator and memory enhancer. Chyawanprash contains the pulp of Emblica officinalis Gaertn. as the prime ingredient, along with powder and extract of several other herbs. It is observed that the consistency and taste varies from one manufacturer to another. Even these variations are observed in the same pharmaceutical company in different manufacturing batches. Hence, it is the need of the hour to standardize the raw materials to obtain product consistency. With the advent of new analytical tools and sophisticated instrumental technology, the quality assurance profile for a crude drug or its bioactive constituents can be made possible. Two in-house batch of Chyawanprash was prepared according to the procedure described in text Charaksamhita and remaining one Chyawanprash sample was procured from market. These batches were evaluated by physicochemical methods and its bio-efficacy was determined by various biological methods like antioxidant study, microbial contamination study and finally stability study was performed on the formulation according to the ICH guidelines. The results of two in-house batches were found in close proximation with the marketed batch. The method used for determination of quality control of Chyanwanprash was found to be precise and reproducible and can be used for quality control of other marketed formulations. These studies on Chyawanprash were noticed reproducible and precise and may be considered as the methods for its quality control
