Infrared thermal imaging figures of merit

Commercially available types of infrared thermal imaging instruments, both viewers (qualitative) and imagers (quantitative) are discussed. The various scanning methods by which thermal images (thermograms) are generated will be reviewed. The performance parameters (figures of merit) that define the quality of performance of infrared radiation thermometers will be introduced. A discussion of how these parameters are extended and adapted to define the performance of thermal imaging instruments will be provided. Finally, the significance of each of the key performance parameters of thermal imaging instruments will be reviewed and procedures currently used for testing to verify performance will be outlined

An update of commercial infrared sensing and imaging instruments

A classification of infrared sensing instruments by type and application, listing commercially available instruments, from single point thermal probes to on-line control sensors, to high speed, high resolution imaging systems is given. A review of performance specifications follows, along with a discussion of typical thermographic display approaches utilized by various imager manufacturers. An update report on new instruments, new display techniques and newly introduced features of existing instruments is given

Penulisan ini akan membahas mengenai perlindungan pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk dengan adanya pengecualian penawaran tender wajib yang wajib dilakukan oleh Industrial Bank of Korea selaku pihak yang mengambil alih perusahaan terbuka. Keberadaan pengecualian dilakukannya penawaran tender wajib menghilangkan kesempatan pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk agar saham yang mereka miliki dibeli oleh pengendali baru dengan harga yang sama dengan harga pengambilalihan atau harga yang lebih tinggi. Atas dasar tersebut, bagaimana perlindungan hukum pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk atas adanya pengecualian penawaran tender wajib dan bagaimana langkah yang dapat diambil oleh pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk agar dapat menjual sahamnya dengan harga yang sama dengan harga pengambilalihan akan dibahas lebih lanjut dalam Penulisan ini. Penulisan ini menggunakan penelitian doktrinal dengan tujuan untuk meneliti dan menganalisis bagaimana perlindungan hukum dan langkah yang dapat diambil oleh pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk atas pengecualian penawaran tender wajib. Dengan adanya pengecualian penawaran tender wajib, pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk tidak memperoleh perlindungan hukum yang timbul dari kewajiban penawaran tender wajib. Pemegang saham minoritas PT Bank Agris Tbk dapat menjual saham yang mereka miliki melalui pasar sekunder di PT Bursa Efek Indonesia atau melalui mekanisme pembelian kembali saham

Witten's SU(2) anomaly on the lattice

Witten's anomaly for SU(2) with a single I=1/2 Weyl fermion in four dimension is shown to be reproduced by the lattice overlap. The parity-violating pion-nucleon coupling constant from a realistic three flavor Skyrme model

We study the parity-violating pion-nucleon coupling $G_\pi$ in the framework of a realistic three flavor Skryme model. We find a sizeable enhancement of $G_\pi \simeq 0.8 ... 1.3 \cdot 10^{-7}$ compared to previous calculations in two-flavor models with vector mesons. This strangeness enhancement stems from induced kaon fields of the chiral soliton and the non-monotoneous dependence on symmetry breaking of the nucleon matrix element of the flavor singlet piece of the operator associated with these induced fields.
