    This study investigates the impact of self-esteem, virtuousness and work values on ethical behaviors. In literature, studies suggest that individual and organizational factors as an important determinant or precursor of ethical behaviors. However, there has been relatively little substantive research focusing on these issues. In this respect, significant findings have been collected as a result of a research conducted on 174 employees of ten hotel enterprises in Turkey. Based on the findings, significant relationships have been observed among self-esteem, virtuousness, work values and ethical behaviors. Accordingly, one of the dimensions of virtuousness and self-esteem affect ethical behaviors positively. Moreover, dimensions of work values such as influence and advancement, working relationships and financial & working conditions are found out to have effect on ethical behaviors

In the literature studies suggest that, family-friendly policies are evaluated within the scope of human resource management practices; they are associated with positive individual and organizational outcomes. Accordingly, this study deals with work-life balance, work alienation and life satisfaction variables which are expected to be affected by family-friendly policies. In order to examine the effect of family-friendly policies on these variables, 208 people employed in three different marble companies in Turkey are included in the research.     Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn pada siswa XI AP1 SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring

    The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of PPKn in class XI AP1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring in semester 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year through the application of Group Investigation cooperative learning models. Subjects in the study were students of class XI AP1 of SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring in semester 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year totaling 35 people. The object of the research was the PPKn learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes data in PPKn subjects were collected using tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The study was said to be successful if it met the criteria: (1) the average value of the minimum PPKn test was KKM of 77, and (2) the classical completeness was at least 85%. The results of data analysis showed an increase in student learning outcomes in PPKn subjects in class XI AP1 SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring after using the application of the GI type cooperative learning model. In cycle I, the average value of daily tests was 75.21 and classical completeness was 88.57%, while in cycle II the average value of daily tests was 80.68 with a classical completeness of 100%. Thus, the application of the Group Investigation type of cooperative learning model could improve student learning outcomes in PPKn learning after two cycles. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn pada siswa kelas XI AP1 SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI AP1 SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 berjumlah 35 orang. Objek penelitian adalah hasil belajar PPKn. Data hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PPKn dikumpulkan menggunakan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil bila memenuhi kriteria: (1) nilai rata-rata ulangan PPKn minimal sebesar nilai KKM sebesar 77, dan (2) ketuntasan klasikal minimal 85%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn di kelas XI AP1 SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring setelah menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation. Pada Siklus I, nilai rata-rata ulangan harian mencapai 75,21 dan ketuntasan klasikal 88,57%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata ulangan harian mancapai 80,68 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PPKn setelah dilakukan dua kali siklus.

    A Relational Approach Among Perceived Organizational Support, Proactive Personality and Voice Behaviour

    AbstractThis study aims to investigate the relationship among the perceived organizational support, proactive personality and voice behaviour of the employees. Recent sudies accept that proactive personality is one of the primary determinants of voice behaviour and a few researchers suggest that proactive personality of the employees are affected by certain organizational factors like perceived organizational support. In this context, this study conducted in two large firms which were parted telecommunication and energy sectors in Turkey. Research findings imply that there is a significant relationship between proactive personality and voice behaviour and also perceived organizatonal support of employees may result in voice behaviour. Therefore, there is a significant relationship between perceived organizational support and voice behaviour

    The Individual Antecedents of Impulsive Behavior

    This study aims to investigate some individual antecedents of impulsive behavior. Within the literature, studies suggest that dark side of personality and self-efficacy belief considered an effective factors on employees’ impulsive behaviors. For this purpose, the data were collected via survey method from 201 employees who are working in four and five star hotels in Antalya and Bursa provinces. Accordingly exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, correlation and structural equation modelling were used for the data analyses. The results of the study indicate that while psychopathy has a significant and positive effect on employees’ impulsive behaviors, narcissism has a significant and negative effect on the impulsivity. However, Machiavellianism has no significant effect on impulsive behaviors. On the other hand, it is found that self-efficacy has a significant and negative effect on employees’ impulsive behaviors
