Yoni Roga do not occur without vitiation of Apana Vata, thus first of all Vata should be normalized then treatment of other Doshas should be done. Sthanika Chikitsa (local therapies) prescribed by ancient Acharyas as Yoni Prakshalana (cleansing of vagina), Yoni Pichu (medication soaked tampon place in the vagina), Yoni Purana (vaginal packing), Yoni Lepa (semisolid drug applied in vaginal wall), Yoni Varti (vaginal suppository), Yoni Dhoopana (vaginal fumigation) & Uttarbasti (medicated oil/Ghrita pushed in the uterine cavity). For better result of this therapy the appropriate knowledge of mode of action of drug ought to be important. Our Acharyas very well know the mode of action of this Sthanika Chikitsa and describe the specific Sthanika Chikista according to different Yoni- Vyapada or vitiated Doshas. The reason behind for chosen the vaginal route because of the rugae of the vaginal epithelium create a invoulted surface and results in a large surface area provide, this large surface area allows the trans-epithelial absorption of medications via the vaginal route & the posterior fornix have rich blood supply so actively absorption of drug. The main objective of this literature to find out the probable mode of action of special drug in specific Sthanik Chikitsa

Taste stimuli play vital role in the life of honey bees. Sensory structures observed on tongue of the honey bees with the help of Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) have become an important tool in analyzing honey bee biodiversity which offers an advanced diagnostic tool to study honey bee biogeography and determine adaptive variations to native flora. Tongue of honey bees present a high geographic variability in regard to the floral resources visited by the bees. The present study has determined to determine differences in the tongue ofopen-nesting bees by scanning electron microscopy of Apis dorsata and Apis florea. The two bees showed distinct morphological variations with respect to the lapping and sucking apparatus. It was observed that the ridges on the proximal region exhibited rough surface on A.dorsata whereas spinous in case of A.florea. Moreover, the arrangement of hair in the middle part of the tongue also differed in the two species. The shape of flabellum differed in the two species reason being the influence of native flora. It was observed that the shape of flabellum was oval in A.dorsata whereas in A.florea it was triangular. These differences indicated for the role of native flora and honey bee biodiversity

Highlights: A manufacturing supply chain dealing with decaying inventory is studied with three production sub-cycles. Price-based demand, the Weibull degradation rate and carbon tax policy are taken into account. Price, carbon emission factor, cycle length and production period are decision variables to increase profit. Goal: The research work aims to maximize profit for a manufacturing supply chain dealing with deteriorating inventories. To maximize profit, the optimum value of production cycle length, total cycle length, price, and emission factor were studied.

    No full text
In the present paper, a theoretical analysis of entropy generation due to fully developed flow and heat transfer through a parallel plate channel partially filled with a porous medium under the effect of transverse magnetic field and radiation is presented. Both horizontal plates of the channel are kept at constant and equal temperature. An exact solution of governing equation for both porous and clear fluid regions has been obtained in closed form. The entropy generation number and the Bejan number are also calculated. The effects of various parameters such as magnetic field parameter, radiation parameter, Brinkman number, permeability parameter, ratios of viscosities and thermal conductivities are examined on velocity, temperature, entropy generation rate
