    Social and economic phenomena seen among the various efforts to develop culture-basedhandicraft industry. Several groups of small business industry looks continue to live but with thecondition that no maximum. The quality of labor in the industry is determining the level ofproductivity of the industry output.Industry sector is the sector that absorbs labor andemployment issues is a crucial issue especially when it comes to productivity. This is due to theproductivity can be achieved when workers have a willingness to work with a boost in selfworker.Work will occur if the labor needs of both physical and non-physical being met.     Meningkatnya jumlah pekerja milenial didalam suatu organisasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja dalam suatu organisasi. Permasalahan ini juga dialami oleh Badan POM. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel karakteristik milenial, budaya organisasi dan person job terhadap kinerja melalui employee engagement. Penelitian yang dilakukan di Badan POM ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan explanatory research yang menjelaskan setiap variabel penelitian. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dimana setiap butir pertanyaan  dilakukan uji  validitas dan uji reliabilitas guna mengukur keabsahan butir-butir pernyataan tersebut. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan langsung melalui responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui google form. Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan karyawan Badan POM yang dipilih menggunakan metode probability sampling yang berarti seluruh karyawan Badan POM memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk menjadi responden.  Pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SEM. didapatkan hasil bahwa variabel employee engagement sebagai variabel intervening mampu memediasi karakterisik milenial, budaya kerja dan person job fit terhadap kinerja karyawan Badan POM. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat bahwa nilai pengaruh langsung lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan melaui variabel intervening

    Strategi Pengembangan UMKM Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Dalam Mendukung Perekonomian Daerah Pasca Pandemi Covid-19

    Research and development of small and medium enterprises based on local wisdom in supporting the regional economy after the COVID-19 pandemic (a case study of the Sambas district) aims to determine the appropriate strategy to be implemented to empower local SMEs in the Sambas area, which is divided into three fields, namely weaving, rattan, and pandanus. The number of samples for each field is 27 for weaving, 32 for rattan, and 4 for pandanus. Meanwhile, the analysis used in this research is through the analysis of Force Field Analysis (FFA) and Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT). Based on the FFA analysis, it was found that the main driving factors were the selling price of the product, the price of raw materials, and advances in information technology, while the critical inhibiting factors were online marketing, total turnover, and business management. Based on the SWOT analysis through the EFAS and IFAS matrices, there are similarities in strategy taking: product innovation and differentiation, product sales via online or e-commerce, product quality and product quality improvement, and social campaigns to promote traditional values to encourage sales.   Keywords: SMEs Based on Local Wisdom, Weaving, Pandan, Rattan, Development   Abstrak Pengembangan UMKM berbasis kearifan lokal dalam mendukung perekonomian daerah pasca pandemi covid-19 (studi kasus kabupaten sambas) bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang sesuai untuk diimplementasikan demi memberdayakan UKM lokal daerah sambas yang dibagi menjadi tiga bidang yaitu tenun, rotan, dan pandan. Jumlah sampel untuk masing-masing bidang adalah adalah 27 untuk bidang tenun, 32 untuk bidang rotan, dan 4 untuk bidang pandan. Adapun, analisis dimana dipergunakan pada penelitian ini ialah melalui analisis Force Field Analysis (FFA) dan Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, and, Threat (SWOT). Berdasarkan analysis FFA ditemukan faktor kunci pendorong utama yaitu harga jual produk, harga bahan baku, dan kemajuan teknologi informasi, sedangkan faktor kunci penghambat utama yaitu pemasaran online, jumlah omzet, dan pengelolaan usaha. Berdasarkan analysis SWOT melalui matriks EFAS dan IFAS ditemukan kesamaan dalam pengambilan stratgei yaitu adanya inovasi dan diferensiasi produk, penjualan produk melalui online atau e-commerce, peningkatan mutu dan kualitas produk, serta social campaign untuk mengedepankan nilai tradisionalitas untuk medorong penjualan.   Kata kunci: UMKM Berbasis Kearifan Lokal, Tenun, Pandan, Rotan, Pengembanga

    DETERMINANTS AND CONSEQUENCES OF WORK-LIFE BALANCE

    The work-life balance has become an important issue in the fast-paced and demanding work environment today. This study aims to analyze the determinants and consequences of work-life balance by examining the influence of working hours and job burnout on employee well-being, with the work-life balance as a mediating variable. It involved 100 active employees from the Local Government-Owned Water Utility of Pontianak City, chosen through a purposive sampling method. The data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM - PLS). The results reveal that the job burnout has a significant effect on both the work-life balance and employee well-being. However, the working hours does not have a significant effect on both the work-life balance and employee well-being. Additionally, the work-life balance has a significant effect on the employee well-being. Furthermore, this study confirms that the work-life balance is able to mediate the effect of job burnout on the employee well-being, but it is not able to mediate the effect of working hours on the employee well-being. These results provide managers and HR practitioners with insights into how to improve the employee well-being through effective working hours plans, job burnout reduction, and work-life balance programs.JEL:  I31, I39
