PURPOSE: The article attempts to explore the perceptions of employees from Poland and Italy
towards attitude to change and groups of job satisfaction determinants and to diagnose the
influence of actual perceptions of the organizational environment as volatile, uncertain,
complex, and ambivalent (in the VUCA concept) and brittle, anxious, non-linear, and
incomprehensible (in the BANI concept) on job satisfaction groups of determinants among
Polish and Italian employees. The present paper employs the results of research conducted
by the same author.DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: The study was conducted in 2023 on a random sample of
326 adult employees in Poland and Italy. The method used in the study was CAWI. The
Likert scale mostly used in the questionnaires allowed the participants to give an answer on
a five-point scale. Three hypotheses were developed to be verified by the research conducted.FINDINGS: A thorough analysis of the literature on the topic and the conducted research
demonstrate a significant correlation between changeable environmental characteristics and
groups of determinants of job satisfaction There appears to be a tendency toward
considering changes as opportunities that might provide employees with new advantages and
opportunities. Moreover, Employer Sustainability Activities in ESG start to represent a
significant new group of factors influencing job satisfaction.PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The research results can have practical implications for managers
and owners of companies in Poland and Italy because they provide important configurations
of actual groups of factors that lead to employee job satisfaction. Having that in mind,
managers would influence the implementation of changes more effectively and boldly.ORIGINALITY/VALUE: This study broadens scholarly knowledge about the connection between
change, sustainability, and groups of determinants and their effects on employees’ job
satisfaction outcomes. A set of variables that affect job satisfaction in groups of determinants
in a turbulent environment characterized by VUCA and BANI concepts was identified, and
the strength of influence between variables was shown.peer-reviewe

Dalsza część analizy to studium przypadku, opisujące praktyczne zastosowanie zasad mentoringu odwróconego w jednej z najbardziej wpływowych rzą‑ dowych organizacji w Londynie – Greater London Authority (GLA) – pełniącej funkcję strategicznego zarządu metropolii, jaką jest stolica Wielkiej Brytanii
Students' expectations regarding the educational offer in light of personal research
PURPOSE: The aim of the research was to analyze the primary motivations of students for
undertaking higher education and to identify the key factors influencing their choice of a
specific educational offer.DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: A quantitative research methodology was employed, based
on the analysis of questionnaires directed at students. Students' expectations regarding the
educational offer and their motivations for studying were assessed. Data analysis was
conducted using Pearson's correlation coefficient.FINDINGS: It was determined that the main motivations for students to undertake studies are
acquiring knowledge and professional qualifications, prospects for development, and career
advancement. Building relationships and meeting new people is a significant, though not
dominant, aspect of student life. Parental expectations are not the main motivation for
undertaking studies. Pearson's correlation coefficient of 0.308 indicates a weak positive
linear relationship between students' expectations and their evaluations of the educational
offer.PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The research findings suggest that higher education institutions
should focus on the practical aspects of education, offering curricula that reflect the needs of
the job market. It is also essential to facilitate relationship-building among students and
promote student mobility. However, students' educational decisions are complex and can be
shaped by various factors, not just expectations regarding the educational offer.ORIGINALITY/VALUE: While many studies have focused on students' expectations in the context
of higher education, this research provides a unique perspective on the relationship between
students' expectations and their evaluations of the educational offer, using Pearson's
correlation coefficient analysis.peer-reviewe

i gospodarczy.
ją kształtujących oraz odpowiednie działania przedsiębiorców uwzględniające tę wiedzę przyczynią się do koniecznego radykalnego wzrostu innowacyjności i atrakcyjności polskich firm z sektora MSP.Functioning of a company in the today’s economy means the necessity to face new challenges brought by the civilisation and economic progress. W artykule przedstawiono i omówiono wyniki badań dotyczących cech wymarzonej pracy, składowych relacji z bezpośrednim przełożonym oraz
czynników motywacyjnych w opinii przyszłych pracowników z pokolenia Y, którzy w najbliższych lat wkroczą na europejski rynek pracy. Prezentowane
wyniki badania ukazują wpływ różnic kulturowych (Polska, Włochy, Ukraina, Rosja, Białoruś) na ww. zagadnienia oraz identyfikują obszary, w których
