Modeling of selected TCP protocols

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie wybranych protokołów TCP, zarówno standardowych (jak RENO, SACK czy VEGAS) jak i protokołów o wysokich prędkościach (jak Highspeed, HTCP, BIC, CUBIC, STCP, FAST). Zawarte w tej pracy badania pomogą określić ich zachowanie a także wpływ na nie ruchu w tle oraz jego brak. Przedstawiony na końcu pracy skrypt pozwala na uzyskanie wykresu przepustowości, użycia łącza, zajętości kolejki oraz okna przeciążenia cwnd za pomocą symulatora sieciowego ns-2 oraz linux’owego narzędzia do prezentacji wykresów gnuplot.Goal of this paper is to present both standart TCP protocols (like RENO, SACK or VEGAS) and high-speed protocols (like Highspeed, HTCP, BIC, CUBIC, STCP or FAST). Experiments included in this paper should help to determine their behavior and web traffic influence on it. Script included at the end of this paper can be used to display diagrams of throughput, link utilization,queue occupation and congestion window using network simulator ns-2 and gnuplot - linux tool used to display diagrams
