Mathematical modelling of the automated FADU assay for the quantification of DNA strand breaks and their repair in human peripheral mononuclear blood cells
Automatització, robòtica i impressió 3D. Ecologia industrial, impacte ambiental i valorització energètic

A measurement of the transverse polarization of Λ-hyperons produced in inelastic pN-reactions at 450 GeV proton energy
A study of the polarization of Λ hyperons produced in inelastic pN reactions induced by the 450 GeV proton beam from the CERN SPS has been performed with the NA48 detector. The Λ hyperons were detected at a fixed angle of 4.2 mrad in the momentum range from 50 GeV/c to 200 GeV/c. The polarization changes from -0.053 ± 0.034 to -0.298 ± 0.074 for a transverse momentum range of the Λ between 0.28 GeV/c and 0.86 GeV/c. The Λ̄ polarization is consistent with zero
Stathmin and microtubules regulate mitotic entry in HeLa cells by controlling activation of both Aurora kinase A and Plk1
First measurement of the rate K-L(0)->pi mu nu gamma
In a preliminary version of the NA48 experiment at the CERN SPS, in which an iron-scintillator sandwich calorimeter was used as a photon detector, the ratio of K-L --> pi mu nu gamma and K-L --> pi mu nu decays was measured. The branching ratio BR(K-L --> pi mu nu gamma,E-gamma*greater than or equal to 30 MeV)/(K-L --> pi mu nu) is found to be (2.08+/-0.17(-0.21)(+0.16)x10(-3), where the first error is statistical and the second systematic. The result is in agreement with theoretical predictions. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V
A measurement of the transverse polarization of Lambda-hyperons produced in inelastic pN-reactions at 450 GeV proton energy

The polarization changes from -0.053 ±0.034 to -0.298 ±0.074 for a transverse momentum range of the L between 0.28 GeV/c and 0.86 GeV/c. The [`(L)] polarization is consistent with zero
