Masyarakat moderen mempunyai kecenderungan ingin serba cepat, termasuk keinginan menguasai suatu ilmu.  Karena memang dukungan media yang sangat memadai dan strategi yang semakin hari semakin variatif. Langkah kongkritnya dengan melahirkan buku-buku, metode, strategi dan teori serta pendekatan pembelajaran yang serba cepat (akselerasi). Pondok pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata Panaan Pelengaan Pamekasan adalah salah satunya, sejak tahun 2011 menyediakan satu proram akseleratif untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat penguasaan keterampilan membaca bagi para santri yang berminat, yang dikenal dengan program Prakom (Pra Komisi)

Rassismus und Antirassismus im Fußball

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Themen Rassismus und Antirassismus und im Besonderen mit Rassismus und Antirassismus im Fußball. Zuerst werden die Geschichte und die Formen von Rassismus beleuchtet mit genauer Betrachtung der Konstruktion von Identität und kollektiver Identität. Des Weiteren wir die Rolle der Medien bei der Enstehung von Stereotypen und Rassismus dargestellt, sowie das Besondere im Feld des Fußballs; wie zum Beispiel die Ausnahmesituation im Stadion und der Einsatz von Symbolen und Ritualen als identitätsstiftendes Element. Die Organisation „FairPlay. Viele Farben. Ein Spiel“ nutzt die Rahmenbedigungen im Fußball (Organisation, Reichweite, Medienpräsez), um viele verschiedene Menschen mit antirassitischen Inhalten zu erreichen. Die Analyse der Organisation geschieht mittels der Betrachtung ihrer Tätigkeitsbereiche und Ziele, der eingesetzten Methoden sowie der Partizipation der verschiedenen Akteure. Der Schwerpunkt von „FairPlay“ liegt in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und auf Bildungsprojekten; ein weiteres Ziel ist das Umdeuten des Raums. Das Stadion dient als Ort der Erinnerung; als Ort, wo „community building“ stattfindet, und soll als solcher neubesetzt werden, und zu einem Ort werden, der sich durch eine Nicht-Akzeptanz von Rassismus kennzeichnet. Fußball eignet sich einerseits wegen seiner Reichweite und Popularität als Instrument für Antirassismus-Arbeit, ist aber gleichzeitig ein Feld wo es oft zu rassistischen Übergriffen oder Vorfällen kommt- auch deswegen ist es wichtig zu sehen, dass Fußball über seine eigentliche Bedeutsamkeit hinausstrahlt und genutzt werden kann um viele Menschen zu erreichen und als Vehikel verwendet werden kann um Gesellschaftspolitik zu betreiben (Fanizadeh 2007).The present thesis is dealing with the topics racism and antiracism and especially racism and antiracism in football. The analysis is being approached by focusing on the history of racism and its differnent forms of appearance, also regarding the role of constructing identities. Furthermore the thesis focuses on the role of the media and its influence on the developement of stereotypes and racism. Further, the thesis is dealing with the special circumstances in the field of football, like the atmosphere in a stadium during a game, fan-behavior and the adoption of signifying practises, symbols and rituals. The organisation ‘FairPlay. Viele Farben. Ein Spiel.’ uses the framwork of football, as the network, the reach and its precence in the media, to reach many different people with antiracist matters. The analysis of the organisation is being approached by focusing on the areas of operation and goals, the deployed techniques and the grade of participation of all different protagonists. ‘FairPlay’ puts its main focus on public relations work and education; another main goal is to reinterpret space. Stadiums often serve as places of remembrance, places where community-building happens; and as such ‘FairPlay’ tries to give it a new interpration as a place that is characterised by not accepting any types of racism. Football can be used as a tool for antiracism work because of its reach and its popularity but at the same time it is often being used as a stage for racist behavior. Thus it is important to recognize that football is more than just a game- it can be used to reach a lot of people and as a medium for social policies (Fanizadeh 2007)

The communicative construction of collectivities: an interdisciplinary approach to media history

The paper discusses some concepts, trends, and deficits in recent media history, and it makes a plea for a history of communication to implement media into a broader conception of social history. Therefore, we employ a wider notion of mediatization which is used in media and communication studies, and re-formulate it for historical research. On the basis of that notion, we introduce the theoretical concept of ‘communicative figurations’ which an interdisciplinary research group in Bremen and Hamburg developed to ask how changing media environments and ensembles interrelate with societal and political transformations. In transferring it in research on imagined communities in times of analogue media, the paper presents some early insights into an on-going project and pursues questions about the communicative construction of collectivities

The dispute in Santam Limited v Dial Direct Limited and Joe Public (Pty) Ltd (unreported Western Cape High Court case number 13278/11), ended via a settlement, and judgment was given without any reasons being provided. Nevertheless, the facts raise a number of interesting questions, some of which are considered below. The facts were that Santam had a television advertisement produced (described in the court papers as “the Real McCoy” - available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JJWdpKATP0 (accessed 2011-12-10)). Sir Ben Kingsley is shown walking on the beach, talking about how consumers should discern between insurance companies, and in the end four look-alike men are shown. Dial Direct, a competitor of Santam, produced a commercial in response (available at http://www.alonberman.com/dial-directs-take-on-sanlams-ben-kingsley-ad (accessed 2011-12-10)). This commercial depicted an entity with a hand as the upper “body”, walking on a beach, saying “yada yada”’, and at the end four similar entities appear. The words “less yada yada, more ching ching” then appear on the screen. In the applicant’s founding affidavit the similarities were said to be, more in particular, that both advertisements had the same backdrop; the “persons” involved had the same dress style; the composition, grading and camera angles of the shots in the adverts are virtually identical; and similar music and lighting is used to create the same mood (par 24)

Holocaustfilme, gerade solche, in denen wie in Claude Lanzmanns Shoah (1985) überlebende Opfer als Zeitzeugen befragt werden, machen Traumatisierungen für uns Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer wahrnehmbar. Lanzmanns Art der Befragung offensichtlich traumatisierter Überlebender, sein bewusstes Auslösen traumatischer Erinnerungen vor laufender Kamera sind allerdings bis heute umstritten. Der Beitrag analysiert Lanzmanns Interviewtechnik und fragt grundsätzlich nach dem Verhältnis von Film und Trauma, Zeigen und Nicht-Zeigen sowie Reden und Schweigen.Documentaries about the holocaust like Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah (1985) are able to make trauma perceptible.
