Possibilities of Using Hydrogen in Aviation

Práce je zaměřena na možnosti využití vodíku v letectví. Seznamuje s existujícími typy palivových článků a možnostmi skladování vodíku. Hlavní část práce se věnuje koncepčnímu návrhu malého UAV s vodíkovým palivovým článkem, který má ukázat možnost zástavby vodíkového pohonu.The thesis is focused to hydrogen usage in the aviation. There are shown existing types of fuel cells and hydrogen storage possibilities. Main part of the thesis is conceptual design of small UAV with hydrogen fuel cell, which will show potential of hydrogen power system.

Erosive effect of cavitation

Cílem této práce je seznámit technickou veřejnost obecně s erozivními účinky kavitace a možnosti jejich omezování. Dále je zde uvedeno naopak možné kladné využití kavitačního jevu v různých odvětvích lidského působení.The goal of the submitted thesis is to acquaint the general public with the technical erosive effects of cavitation and the possibility of limiting them. The next part of the thesis states positive usage of cavitation in different sectors of human operation.

Estimation of the Point Radiation Source Activity Based on the Airborne Spectrometry

Práce se zabývá problematikou lokalizace bodového zářiče a odhadu jeho aktivity za pomocí letecké spektrometrie. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny druhy ionizujícího záření, popsán princip měření gama záření pomocí scintilačních detektorů a vysvětlen postup letecké spektrometrie. Byla provedena rešerše algoritmů pro zpracování dat z letecké spektrometrie. V praktické části byla určena citlivost scintilačního detektoru v závislosti na výšce nad kalibrovaným zářičem. Proběhlo ověření matematických metod pro lokalizaci a odhad aktivity hledaného zářiče.The thesis deals with the localization of gamma-ray source and an estimation of its radiation activity with airborne spectrometry. In the theoretical parts are presented the types of ionizing radiation, the principles of measurement of gamma-ray by scintillation detectors and the explanation of airborne spectrometry. A revision of algorithms for data processing from aviation spectrometry was performed. In the practical part, the sensitivity of scintillation counter was determined depending on the height above the calibrated source. The mathematical methods for locating and estimating activity of the searched emitter were verified.

Measurement of Thermal Turbulence for Optical Beam

Cílem bakalářské práce je měření vlivu simulovaných atmosferických jevů v podobě turbulencí vytvářených pomocí rychlo-otáčkových ventilátorů pro různé typy vlnových délek a laserových zdrojů záření. Teplotní turbulence jsou vytvářeny pomocí horkovzdušných proudů. Výsledkem práce je pak porovnání různých druhů měření vlivu turbulentního prostředí, které bylo generováno skrze horkovzdušné ventilátory.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to measure the influence of simulated atmospheric phenomena in shape of turbulence created by fast-turning ventilator for different wavelengths and type of laser sources. The heat turbulence are made by hot-air flow. Haptics interface construction for virtual reality output device

Predmetom tejto diplomovej práce je konštrukcia hmatového rozhrania pre výstupné zariadenie virtuálnej reality. Konštrukcia je zameraná iba na riešenie virtuálneho kontaktu s objektmi. Reakné väzby na užívatea a deformácia telies nie sú uvažované. K riešeniu boli využité programy Autodesk Inventor 11 a Ansys Workbench.The subject of diploma project is constructional solution of haptics interface construction for virtual reality output device. Construction is oriented only for virtual contact with objects. Force feedback on the user and deformation of objects are not used. Used programs: Autodesk INVENTOR 10, ANSYS WORKBENCH.
