    Strateški pristup kriznom komuniciranju jedno je od najznačajnijih i najizazovnijih područja upravljanja odnosima s javnošću. S obzirom da u suvremenom poslovanju poduzeća mogu vrlo lako zapasti u krizne situacije, potrebno je uspostaviti odgovarajući krizni tim koji će se znati nositi s negativnim posljedicama krize te koji će znati zadržati ili ponovno izgraditi reputaciju i ugled organizacije koji je uživala prije krize. Posebnu ulogu u takvim vremenima ima upravo krizno komuniciranje koje uključuje širok spektar različitih strategija koje moraju biti ukomponirane u strateško odlučivanje menadžmenta kako bi se krize ne samo izbjegle već kako bi poduzeće iz njih, ukoliko se već dogode, naučilo što više i u narednom periodu bolje odgovorilo na negativne izazove.A strategic approach to crisis communication is one of the most important and challenging areas of public relations management.
