Modification of barrier structure on the basis of pAlGaInAs–nGaAs by consecutively connected potential barriers

    No full text
There have been researched how the consistently connected potential barriers influence on physical processes running in p–n-heterojunction on an example of one- and multibarrier structures. It is shown, that updating of the heterojunction by creation of the consistently connected barrier to a substrate and to heterolayer result in convertion of a passive parasitic part of a substrate to the active category and its modulation from the two-parties. The third barrier generated to heterolayer excludes the injection of carriers to the base area and essentially reduces capacity of structure

Summary of Evaluation and Surgical Treatment of Hemorrhagic Stroke

Stroke is one of the leading causes of death. Every 7th patient with stroke is of a hemorrhagic nature, from which the mortality rate is 35-40%, and disability is 75%, and 10% disabled are bedridden. The disease has social impact, as it is common among working-age population. In the past three decades, neurosurgeons conducted an active search for and introduction of new methods of treatment of primary intracerebral hematomas. That is, patients with extravasations have the most pronounced neurological deficit and require prompt action to eliminate it. Thus, the admission of patients to specialized neurosurgical department, the proper selection of patients for surgery, the use in surgery minimally invasive methods and usage of modern technologies postoperative mortality does not exceed 25%, and the time from diagnosis to the possibility of a complete rehabilitation therapy is 1.5-2 week

    Real Production Accidents

The article foresees incidents, real accidents at work, and that each paragraph of the safety rules should be written on the basis of incidents that have occurred at work, including when assembling or disassembling drilling rigs in an upright position, as well as real accidents, directly at the rig, during drilling with consequences in the form of various accidents and complications

Triple Pelvic Osteotomy in the Treatment of Congenital Dislocation of the Hip in Children

The article presents an analysis of the results of treatment of 18 patients (22 joints) treated for residual hip dysplasia. The age of the patients ranged from 7 to 14 years. There were 6 boys and 12 girls among the patients. The patients were examined using clinical, radiological and computed tomographic methods, and a three-dimensional model of the hip joint was constructed. The results of surgical treatment were evaluated as excellent, good, satisfactory, and unsatisfactory. Excellent results were obtained in 4 patients. Good results were observed in 10 patients. Satisfactory results were observed in 4 patients
