Recursos artísticos: adaptaciones y reconstrucciones dramáticas

There is an obvious relation between the imitation and adaptation of literary works. The focus of the essay is the adaptation of early Spanish modern works —including Don Quijote and plays by Cervantes, Lope de Vega, and Juan Ruiz de Alarcón— and Miguel de Unamuno’s Niebla into dramatic texts in English. Adaptation becomes a method of reading, analysis, and interpretation, as well as a form of communication among authors.Existe una relación íntima entre la imitación y la adaptación de textos literarios. El enfoque de este ensayo es la adaptación de obras españolas premodernas —entre ellos, Don Quijote y varias comedias de Cervantes, Lope de Vega y Juan Ruiz de Alarcón— y Niebla, de Miguel de Unamuno, en textos dramáticos en inglés. La adaptación se convierte en un método de lectura, análisis e interpretación, tanto como una forma de comunicaciones entre los diversos autores

The Be star content of young open clusters

We present a photometric survey aimed to characterize the Be star population of young open clusters. It is found that in these clusters early-type Be stars are more frequent than in the galactic field, and late-type Be stars are scarce or inexistent. Homonota horrida (South American Marked Gecko): Aquatic locomotion

On 26 November 2017 at 2134 h, in at La Majadita, Valle Fértil, San Juan, Argentina (30.7152°S, 67.4940°W; WGS 84; 1006 m elev.), an adult H. horrida was observed floating on water in a slow-flowing stream (Fig. 1),while hunting hemipterans (Gerridae).
