    Playing non-professional football in COVID-19 time: a narrative review of recommendations, considerations, and best practices

    The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020 resulted in widespread interruption of team sports training and competitions. Our aim was to review the recommendations and best practices in return to play in non-professional football after activity lockdown. The authors searched two electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science) to extract studies published before September 15 2020. Twenty studies explained recommendations, considerations, or best practices in return to play in football, and all of them were clustered into three groups: (1) training load management (n = 10), (2) medical recommendations (n = 9), and (3) recovery related issues (n = 5). The way to establish a progression in training process should be based on training load management and managing the number of stimuli per time. Following the studies, this training process should be divided into three phases: phase 1-physical distancing should be maintained; phases 2 and 3-group training should start. Medical considerations were clustered into different groups: general, pre- and post- training, during training, education, planning to return to competition, and suggestions for post confinement weeks. In particular, social issues, strict hygiene questions, and continuous PCR testing should be considered in return to play over football season. Finally, since a correlation has been found between high-intensive training loads and immunoglobulin A, nutritional and lifestyle recovery strategies should be performed. Moreover, since immunosuppression has been related to congested schedules (<72 h between matches), football federations should avoid this situation

Tal proposta foi definida com base na expertise dos autores na analise de redes de turismo, aliada a resultados obtidos na pesquisa em Ouro Preto (MG). Dessa forma, foi poss?vel perceber o peso dos atores envolvidos em fun??o dos crit?rios de escolha utilizados pelos visitantes para configurar seu caminho dentro da regi?o tur?stica analisada e, assim, refor?ar os relacionamentos existentes.The relationships between firms, to be successful, demand high levels of transparency, information and physical flows of goods and services, in order to provide free access for all people involved in doing business together. The same can be said regarding flow of money resources and talents needed by the processes and operations performed by the network. Thus, the main idea involves reaching balance conditions in terms of sharing the results obtained by all participants, considering their objectives and goals, to keep the network form of organization as being an adequate strategy. This proposal was defined from the authors? expertise in analysis of tourism networks, together with results obtained on research in Ouro Preto. Thus it was possible to realize the weight of the players involved depending on the selection criteria used by visitors to configure their way into of the tourist region analyzed and thereby strengthen existing relationships

    A model for fracture in fibrous materials.

    A fiber bundle model in (1 + 1)-dimensions for the breaking of fibrous composite matrix is introduced. The model consists of N parallel fibers fixed in two plates. When one of the plates is pulled in the direction parallel to the fibers, these can be broken with a probability that depends on their elastic energy. The mechanism of rupture is simulated by the breaking of neighbouring fibers that can generate random crack spreading up through the system. Due to the simplicity of the model we have virtually no computational limitation. The model is sensitive to external conditions as temperature and traction time-rate. The energy vs. temperature behaviour, the diagrams of stress vs. strain and the histograms of the frequency vs. size of cracks are obtained

    Paecilomyces variotii is a common cosmopolitan species that is able to spoil various food- and feedstuffs and is frequently encountered in heat-treated products. However, isolates from heat-treated products rarely form ascospores. In this study we examined by using molecular techniques and mating tests whether this species can undergo a sexual cycle and form ascospores. The population structure of this species was examined by analyzing the nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) and ITS2 and the 5.8S rRNA gene, as well as partial β-tubulin, actin, and calmodulin gene sequences. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that P. variotii is a highly variable species. Partition homogeneity tests revealed that P. variotii has a recombining population structure. In addition to sequence analyses, mating experiments indicated that P. variotii is able to form ascomata and ascospores in culture in a heterothallic manner. The distribution of MAT1-1 and MAT1-2 genes showed a 1:1 ratio in the progeny of the mating experiments. From the sequence analyses and mating data we conclude that P. variotii is the anamorph of Talaromyces spectabilis and that it has a biallelic heterothallic mating system. Since Paecilomyces sensu stricto anamorphs group within Byssochlamys, a new combination Byssochlamys spectabilis is proposed
