    Computer-Based Test Application to Support E-Learning in Pandemic Situation

    The use of information technology in education is a new breakthrough. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, many teaching and learning activities are carried out online using the internet in the form of e-learning. one important part of e-learning is the test. Computer based test (CBT) can be implemented in schools that should be accessed by students from remote places. Computer-based test applications can be used as a complement to online learning by utilizing the web technology. Web-based applications allows access by students with an internet connection using PC/Laptop or other mobile devices. In addition, implementation costs can be saved because paperless. Computer-based test applications also make it easier for teachers to grade the answer where the application can automatically provide the score instantly when students finish the test. In this study, the application was built using the web technology that run from various devices and platforms. Access applications can be designed for local network use (intranet) or online by hosting the application on a webserver.     PENGARUH INTERVENSI RELAKSASI NAFAS DALAM TERHADAP TANDA VITAL PADA IBU HAMIL ERA ENDEMI COVID-19 DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PURWOKERTO BARAT, KAB. BANYUMAS

    Ketidakstabilan tanda vital ibu hamil dapat berdampak pada kesehatan dan kesejahteraan ibu dan janin. Stres pada ibu hamil dapat menyebabkan peningkatan tekanan darah. Ibu hamil perlu mendapatkan intervensi medis dan non-medis. Intervensi relaksasi nafas dalam dapat menstabilisasi tekanan darah, laju denyut nadi dan laju pernapasan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi relaksasi nafas dalam terhadap tanda vital pada ibu hamil era endemik covid-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Barat, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian quasy experimental pre and posttest with control group dengan besar sampel 36 ibu hamil yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Subyek mengalami hipertensi sistolik (5,6%) dan hipertensi diastolik (22,2%). Intervensi relaksasi nafas dalam mampu menurunkan tekanan darah sistolik (p=0,001), tekanan darah diastolik (p=<0,001), HR (p=0,013), dan RR (p=0,026) serta hanya RR yang berbeda signifikan secara statistik (p=0,001) antara kedua kelompok. Terdapat ibu hamil teridentifikasi hipertensi sistolik dan hipertensi diastolik. Intervensi relaksasi nafas dapat menurunkan tanda vital (tekanan darah, HR, RR), namun hanya RR yang berbeda signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Perlu meningkatkan upaya deteksi dini risiko tinggi, relaksasi nafas dalam menjadi alternatif solusi dan masih perlu penelitian lebih lanjut

    Educational Intervention to Improve Knowledge and Attitudes about Thalassemia Premarital Screening Surveys among Muslim Societies: A Pilot Study in Indonesia

    Premarital screening is an effective preventive intervention to decrease the prevalence of thalassemia. However, the use of premarital screening is still low in Indonesia. This study assesses the effect of educational interventions on the knowledge and attitudes of Muslim couples regarding premarital screening for thalassemia in Indonesia. This pilot study used a pre-posttest design that included 17 premarital couples in Banyumas District. The participant’s knowledge and attitude regarding premarital screening for thalassemia were measured using a paper-based questionnaire before and after the intervention. The participants received a class-based lecture about thalassemia screening and were provided a handbook containing lecture material to read at home. The knowledge and attitude score was analyzed using Wilcoxon and Kruskal-Wallis test. The knowledge score significantly increased after the intervention, but the proportion of positive attitudes did not differ significantly. The participants knew that premarital screening for thalassemia was necessary; however, it did not affect their marriage decision. Thus, educational intervention increases the knowledge and shapes the attitude of couples toward thalassemia premarital screening but is inadequate for changing their behavior. Further exploration of the factors that affect the behavior of couples is needed to increase the use of premarital screening among couples in Indonesia

    Abstract— Proses pemilihan siswa berprestasi membutuhkan ketelitian dan waktu yang lama, karena setiap data siswa harus dibandingkan dan nilai setiap siswa/i dihitung satu persatu sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan kemudian di urutkan dari siswa/i yang dimulai dari nilai, setelah itu dilakukan perangkingan sehingga ditemkan urutan siswa berprestasi dari ranking ke-1, ke-2, ke-3, dan seterusnya.     Incidence of malaria is clustered and buffers around plantations: a spatial analysis

    Background\ud Malaria is re-emerging because of imported cases and the presence of potential vectors that can transmit and spread malaria. Malaria is a health problem in Banyumas District. Mapping the spread of infectious diseases is epidemiologically important. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the variables and the epidemiology of malaria that were spatially modeled using the geographic information system (GIS).\ud \ud Methods\ud This was a case-control study with ratio of 1:1. Cases were malaria-positive patients and controls were people without malaria, as diagnosed by microscopic examination. Minimum sample size was 139 per group and total sample size was 282 people. Chi-square was used to test the relationship between the variables, and GIS modeling to determine the spatial distribution of malaria cases.\ud \ud Results\ud There were significant relationships between level of income below minimum wage, not using mosquito nets, not using wire netting, not using insect repellents, habit of going out at night, history of malaria, cattle sheds not located between woods and residential area, history of going to endemic areas, residence at distances <1000 m from plantations, bushes, swamps and puddles, with incidence of confirmed malaria (p<0.001). The group of cases living <1000 meters from plantations numbered 141 (100%).\ud \ud Conclusions\ud Malaria incidence is clustered and buffers around plantations at <1000 m. Malaria hot spots are displayed as risk maps that are useful for monitoring and spatial targeting of prevention and control measures against the disease

    CHARACTERISTICS OF RAINFALL-INDUCED SLOPE INSTABILITY IN CISOKAN REGION, INDONESIA

    A 25.5 km long access road has been constructed in a hilly area in Cisokan region. Several slope instabilities occurred during the rainy season, particularly at the end of heavy rainfall. A comprehensive study was performed to understand the characteristics of rainfall-induced slope instability. The study consisted of field observation, analyses of field and laboratory test data, and numerical analyses. The study revealed that in general there were two categories of slopes with instability characteristics: (i) slopes with a significant groundwater level increase during rainfall; (ii) slopes with an insignificant groundwater level increase during rainfall. In the first category, the slope instability was caused by a loss of matric suction and eventually the pore-water pressure, uw became positive as indicated by an increase of the groundwater level. In the second category, the slope instability was caused by a loss of matric suction without a rise in pore-water pressure, uw, to a positive magnitude. Two empirical curves of slope stability were developed as a preliminary guidance to assess slope stability during rainfall in the region
