State Estimation for Time-Delay Systems with Markov Jump Parameters and Missing Measurements
This paper is concerned with the state estimation problem for a class of time-delay systems with Markovian jump parameters and missing measurements, considering the fact that data missing may occur in the process of transmission and its failure rates are governed by random variables satisfying certain probabilistic distribution. By employing a new Lyapunov function and using the convexity property of the matrix inequality, a sufficient condition for the existence of the desired state estimator for Markovian jump systems with missing measurements can be achieved by solving some linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily facilitated by using the standard numerical software. Furthermore, the gain of state estimator can also be derived based on the known conditions. Finally, a numerical example is exploited to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method
Access Control Based Resource Allocation in Cloud Computing Environment
Abstract In this paper, we propose a new dynamic resource allocation scheme -Access Control-based Resource Allocation (ACRA) for cloud users in order to address some deficiencies of the current resources allocation mechanisms in some free cloud computing environment. The proposed scheme comprehensively analyses behavior characteristics of cloud users and evaluates user behavior trust using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), and then dynamically adjusts the resources permission of cloud users according to their behavior trust values, thus effectively controlling user resource utilization. Experimental results show that the ACRA scheme can provide basis for allocating resources dynamically and reasonably to cloud users with different behaviors and improve resource utilization in cloud computing systems

Three-dimensional structure of the milky way dust: modeling of LAMOST data
We present a three-dimensional modeling of the Milky Way dust distribution by
fitting the value-added star catalog of LAMOST spectral survey. The global dust
distribution can be described by an exponential disk with scale-length of 3,192
pc and scale height of 103 pc. In this modeling, the Sun is located above the
dust disk with a vertical distance of 23 pc. Besides the global smooth
structure, two substructures around the solar position are also identified. The
one located at and is
consistent with the Gould Belt model of \citet{Gontcharov2009}, and the other
one located at and is
associated with the Camelopardalis molecular clouds.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figure, accepted by Ap
Numerical study of vapor bubble effect on flow and heat transfer in microchannel
Flow boiling in a microchannel is characterized by nucleation and dynamic behavior of vapor bubbles in the channel. In the present study, the effect of vapor bubble on fluid flow and heat transfer in a microchannel is investigated via lattice Boltzmann (LB) modeling. With respect to boiling flow in a single microchannel, the bubble nucleation, growth, and departure are simulated by using an improved hybrid LB model. Relating bubble behavior with fluid flow and boiling heat transfer provides some insight into the relevant fundamental physics on flow boiling in the microchannel. It is found that the bubble growth before its departure from the wall induces an obvious resistance to the fluid flow. The processes of nucleation and motion of different bubbles interact, leading to an alternate, either enhanced or weakened, effect of bubble behavior on the flow boiling.
