    If an advertiser wants to select ads for an online audience for a relevant event, the selection and audience specifications need to be manually created. Advertisers have to find the set of relevant keywords, a specified audience for the event , and an event time window, in order to create the ad campaign for their ads to show during the event. This manual process can be complex and time consuming, and advertisers may not be able to determine the right selection criteria or audience for the event. Furthermore, while some events may be identified well in advance, advertisers may not react as quickly to new events that are relevant to their ads. Additionally, advertisers may not be able to determine a proper window for presenting the ad. A search provider may be able to provide live, real-time answers for search queries related to live events that users are interested in, such as sports, weather, finance, movie show times, and more

    One-stitch anastomosis through the skin with bicanalicular intubation:a modified approach for repair of bicanalicular laceration

    <b>AIM:</b> To evaluate the efficacy and safety of one-stitch anastomosis through the skin with bicanalicular silicone tube intubation in repairing of bicanalicular laceration.<b>METHODS:</b>The clinical data of 15 consecutive patients with both superior and inferior canalicular laceration in one eye who underwent surgical repair using one-stitch anastomosis through the skin and bicanalicular stent were retrospective studied. All the operations were performed under surgical microscope, 5-0 silk sutures were used and were with bicanalicular silicone tube (diameter was 8mm) intubation, for one lacerated canaliculi one-stitch anastomosis through the skin. The stents were left in place for 3 months postoperatively and then removed. The follow-up period was 3 - 36 months (average 14 months).<b>RESULTS:</b>In 15 patients, 13 patients were cured entirely, 1 patient was meliorated, 1 patient with no effects. All patients had got good recovery of eyelid laceration with no traumatic deformity in eyelid and canthus. Complication was seen in one case, for not followed the doctor’s guidance to come back to hospital to had the suture removed on the 7<sup>th</sup> day after operation, when he came at the 15<sup>th</sup> day, the inferior canalicular wall and eyelid skin were corroded by the suture caused 2mm wound, and the inside silicone tube was exposed, a promptly repair with 10-0 nylon suture was done, the wound healed in a week. There were no early tube protrusions and punctal slits in the patients.<b>CONCLUSION:</b>One-stitch anastomosis through the skin with bicanalicular silicone tube intubation is a good method in repair of bicanalicular laceration in one eye, the cut ends can be anastomosed directly, and with excellent cosmetic results, it is acceptable for the patients. For there is no suture remained in the wound permanently, so there is no suture-related granuloma which may cause obstruction or stenosis of canaliculi. It is simple, economical, effective and safe

    Colorectal cancer screening with fecal occult blood test: A 22-year cohort study.

    The aim of the present study was to investigate the efficacy of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening with a three-tier fecal occult blood test (FOBT) in the Chinese population. The study was performed between 1987 and 2008 at the Beijing Military General Hospital, in a cohort of army service males and females aged &gt;50 years. Between 1987 and 2005, a three-tier screening program, comprising guaiac-based FOBTs (gFOBTs), followed by immunochemical FOBTs for positive guaiac test samples and then colonoscopy for positive immunochemical test subjects, was performed annually. The cohort was followed up until 2008. The cohort included 5,104 subjects, of which, 3,863 subjects participated in screening (screening group) and 1,241 did not (non-screening group). The two groups did not differ in age, gender or other major risk factors for colon cancer. Overall, 36 CRCs occurred in the screening group and 21 in the non-screening group. Compared with the non-screening group, the relative risk for the incidence and mortality of CRC was 0.51 [95% confidence interval (CI), 0.30-0.87] and 0.36 (95% CI, 0.18-0.71), respectively, in the screening group. The general sensitivity of this three-tier FOBT was 80.6% (95% CI, 65.3-91.1). Thus, annual screening using the three-tier FOBT program may reduce the CRC incidence and mortality rate

    Fetal genome predicted birth weight and polycystic ovary syndrome in later life: a Mendelian randomization study

    Associations between lower birth weight and higher polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) risk have been reported in previous observational studies, however, the causal relationship is still unknown. Based on decomposed fetal and maternal genetic effects on birth weight (n  =  406,063), we conducted a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to assess potential causal relationships between fetal genome predicted birth weight and PCOS risk using a large-scale genome-wide association study (GWAS) including 4,138 PCOS cases and 20,129 controls. To further eliminate the maternally transmitted or non-transmitted effects on fetal growth, we performed a secondary MR analysis by utilizing genetic instruments after excluding maternally transmitted or non-transmitted variants, which were identified in another birth weight GWAS (n = 63,365 parent-offspring trios from Icelandic birth register). Linkage disequilibrium score regression (LDSR) analysis was conducted to estimate the genetic correlation. We found little evidence to support a causal effect of fetal genome determined birth weight on the risk of developing PCOS (primary MR analysis, OR: 0.86, 95% CI: 0.52 to 1.43; secondary MR analysis, OR: 0.86, 95% CI: 0.54 to 1.39). In addition, a marginally significant genetic correlation (rg = -0.14, se = 0.07) between birth weight and PCOS was revealed via LDSR analysis. Our findings indicated that observed associations between birth weight and future PCOS risk are more likely to be attributable to genetic pleiotropy driven by the fetal genome rather than a causal mechanism

    Identifying the Riemann zeros by periodically driving a single qubit

    The Riemann hypothesis, one of the most important open problems in pure mathematics, implies the most profound secret of prime numbers. One of the most interesting approaches to solve this hypothesis is to connect the problem with the spectrum of the physical Hamiltonian of a quantum system. However, none of the proposed quantum Hamiltonians have been experimentally feasible.Here, we report the first experiment to identify the first non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function and the first two zeros of P\'olya's fake zeta function, using a novel Floquet method, through properly designed periodically driving functions. According to this method, the zeros of these functions are characterized by the occurrence of crossings of quasi-energies when the dynamics of the system are frozen. The experimentally obtained zeros are in excellent agreement with their exact values. Our study provides the first experimental realization of the Riemann zeros, which may provide new insights into this fundamental mathematical problem.Comment: 5 pages, 7 figure

    A Molecular-Splicing Strategy for Constructing a Near-Infrared Fluorescent Probe for UDP-Glucuronosyltransferase 1A1

    UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1A1 (UGT1A1) is a vital metabolic enzyme responsible for the clearance of endogenous substances and drugs. Hitherto, the development of fluorescent probes for UGTs was severely restricted due to the poor isoform selectivity and on–off or blue-shifted fluorescence response. Herein, we established a novel “molecular-splicing” strategy to construct a highly selective near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe, HHC, for UGT1A1, which exhibited a NIR signal at 720 nm after UGT1A1 metabolism. HHC was then successfully used for the real-time imaging of endogenous UGT1A1 in living cells and animals and to monitor the bile excretion function. In summary, an isoform-specific NIR fluorescent probe has been developed for monitoring UGT1A1 activity in living systems, high-throughput screening of novel UGT1A1 inhibitors and visual evaluation of bile excretion function.</p

    The tetra­nuclear copper(II) title complex, [Cu4Cl2(OH)4(C10H8N2)4](NO3)2·6H2O, has a crystallographically imposed centre of symmetry. The metal atoms display a distorted tetragonal-pyramidal coordination geometry, and are linked by two μ 2- and two μ3-hydroxo groups, assuming a chair-like conformation for the Cu4O2 core. In the crystal, the complex mol­ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by inter­molecular O—H⋯O, O—H⋯Cl, C—H⋯O and C—H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking inter­actions with centroid–centroid separations of 3.724 (2) and 3.767 (3) Å
