    En 2021, Quanzhou se convirtió en el número 56º de la Lista de Patrimonio de la Humanidad de China, ganando la atención de todo el país y convirtiéndose en un popular destino nicho. Con sus recursos turísticos culturales únicos, Quanzhou se ha quedado atrás en el desarrollo de su industria turística. Existen muy pocos estudios sobre estos temas de desarrollo turístico y casi ninguno en otros idiomas, como el inglés o el español.A través de la presente investigación y utilizando los métodos de estudio, se espera identificar las razones clave del retraso en el desarrollo. Entre ellos, el análisis DAFO, así como, el uso de la lista de recursos para valorar el patrimonio cultural y crear un destino turístico cultural único. Se aportará nuevas soluciones a los problemas del desarrollo del turismo en Quanzhou, con el fin de promover este destino y lograr una mejor gestión de este ámbito e inspirar a otros a desarrollar este tema en el futuro.<br /

    Evaluation of the neonatal sequential organ failure assessment and mortality risk in neonates with respiratory distress syndrome: A retrospective cohort study

    BackgroundRespiratory distress syndrome (RDS) is one of the leading causes of neonatal death in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Previous studies have suggested that the development of neonatal RDS may be associated with inflammation and lead to organ dysfunction. The neonatal sequential organ failure assessment (nSOFA) scoring system is an operational definition of organ dysfunction, but whether it can be used to predict mortality in neonates RDS is unknown. The aim of this study was to clarify the performance of the nSOFA score in predicting mortality in patients with neonatal RDS, with the aim of broadening the clinical application of the nSOFA score.MethodsNeonates with RDS were identified from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC)-III database. Cox proportional hazards model were used to assess the association between nSOFA score and mortality. Propensity score matched analysis were used to assess the robustness of the analytical results.ResultsIn this study of 1,281 patients with RDS of which 57.2% were male, death occurred in 40 cases (3.1%). Patients with high nSOFA scores had a higher mortality rate of 10.7% compared with low nSOFA scores at 0.3%. After adjusting for confounding, multivariate Cox proportional risk analysis showed that an increase in nSOFA score was significantly associated with increased mortality in patients with RDS [adjusted Hazards Ratio (aHR): 1.48, 95% Confidence Interval (CI): 1.32–1.67; p &lt; 0.001]. Similarly, the High nSOFA group was significantly associated with higher mortality in RDS patients (aHR: 19.35, 95% CI: 4.41–84.95; p &lt; 0.001) compared with the low nSOFA group.ConclusionThe nSOFA score was positively associated with the risk of mortality in cases of neonatal RDS in the NICU, where its use may help clinicians to quickly and accurately identify high risk neonates and implement more aggressive intervention

    Carolignans from the Aerial Parts of Euphorbia sikkimensis and Their Anti-HIV Activity

    Seven new carolignans, including two pairs of enantiomers (±)-erythro-7′-methylcarolignan E (1a/1b) and (±)-threo-7′-methylcarolignan E (2a/2b), (+)-threo-carolignan E (3a), (+)-erythro-carolignan E (4a), and (−)-erythro-carolignan Z (5), together with four known lignans (3b, 4b, 6, and 7) and six polyphenols (8–13) were isolated from the aerial parts of Euphorbia sikkimensis. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, and their absolute configurations were determined by electronic circular dichroism calculations. Seven of the isolates were examined for anti-HIV effects, and compounds 1a and 1b showed moderate anti-HIV activity with EC50 values of 6.3 and 5.3 μM

    Cobalt-doped porous carbon nanosheets derived from 2D hypercrosslinked polymer with CoN<sub>4</sub> for high performance electrochemical capacitors

    Cobalt-doped graphene-coupled hypercrosslinked polymers (Co-GHCP) have been successfully prepared on a large scale, using an efficient RAFT (Reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer Polymerization) emulsion polymerization and nucleophilic substitution reaction with Co (II) porphyrin. The Co-GHCP could be transformed into cobalt-doped porous carbon nanosheets (Co-GPC) through direct pyrolysis treatment. Such a Co-GPC possesses a typical 2D morphology with a high specific surface area of 257.8 m2 g&#8722;1. These intriguing properties of transition metal-doping, high conductivity, and porous structure endow the Co-GPC with great potential applications in energy storage and conversion. Utilized as an electrode material in a supercapacitor, the Co-GPC exhibited a high electrochemical capacitance of 455 F g&#8722;1 at a specific current of 0.5 A g&#8722;1. After 2000 charge/discharge cycles, at a current density of 1 A g&#8722;1, the specific capacitance increased by almost 6.45%, indicating the excellent capacitance and durability of Co-GPC. These results demonstrated that incorporation of metal porphyrin into the framework of a hypercrosslinked polymer is a facile strategy to prepare transition metal-doped porous carbon for energy storage applications

    Association between CORIN promoter methylation and stroke: Results from two independent samples of Chinese adults

    ObjectiveAs the physical activator of natriuretic peptides, corin has been associated with stroke, but the underlying mechanism is not very clear. Here, we examined whether the CORIN promoter’s methylation, an epigenetic DNA modification, was associated with the risk of stroke in two independent samples.MethodsA total of 1771 participants including 853 stroke cases and 918 healthy controls were included as a discovery sample and 2,498 community members with 10 years of follow-up were included as a replication sample. DNA methylation of the CORIN promoter was quantified by target bisulfite sequencing in both samples. We first examined the single CpG association, followed by a gene-based analysis of the joint association between multiple CpG methylation and stroke, adjusting for conventional risk factors.ResultsThe single CpG association analysis found that hypermethylation at all of the 9 CpG sites assayed was significantly associated with lower odds of prevalent stroke in the discovery sample (all p &lt; 0.05), and three of them located at Chr4:47840038 (HR = 0.74, p = 0.015), Chr4:47839941 (HR = 0.80, p = 0.047), and Chr4:47839933 (HR = 0.82, p = 0.050) were also significantly associated with incident stroke in the replication sample. The gene-based association analysis found that DNA methylation of the 9 CpG sites at the CORIN promoter was jointly associated with stroke in both samples (all p &lt; 0.05).ConclusionDNA methylation levels of the CORIN gene promoter were lower in stroke patients and predicted a higher risk of incident stroke in Chinese adults. The underlying causality warranted further investigation
