Correspondencias, equivalencias y falsos amigos fraseológicos en español y en chino

El presente trabajo analiza el porqué, cuándo y cómo existen correspondencias literales o casi literales, cómo se puede establecer las equivalencias entre el chino y el español y por qué los falsos amigos fraseológicos pueden ser problemáticos para la traducción y la enseñanza de estos idiomas. Del amplio catálogo de las comparaciones fraseológicas, hemos destacados tres grupos: los animales, los colores y el cuerpo humano.The present work analyzes why, when, and how there are literal or almost literal correspondences, how the equivalences can be established between Chinese and English, and why the phraseological false friends can be problematic for the translation and the teaching of both languages. From the broad catalog of phraseological comparisons, we have chosen three groups which are more representative: the animals, the colors and the human body

Fraseologismos chinos relacionados con personajes de la historia y la mitología chinas

This article discusses several examples of Chinese proverbial characters that have had great influence on the current Chinese language. The origin of these characters must be found both in China's real history as well as in legends, stories, novels, etc. These characters are related to characteristics and virtues valued by the Chinese, such as friendship, sense of justice, loyalty, altruism, etc., as to other negative qualities such as evil, ambition, greed, conventionality, betrayal, intrigue, deception, naive goodness, etc. We also study several idioms which are based on reflections on human behavior. They reflect some stories that have had a great impact on the collective mind of the Chinese such as stories of unrequited love or fidelity to an idea even if it involves death itself. All these expressions show a group of specific-cultural features of the current Chinese language that any student or researcher of the Chinese language must know

Las matracas en chino : dichos y locuciones pragmático conversacionales de carácter formulaico en la lengua china

Las matracas son dichos, locuciones, fórmulas conversacionales, frases estandarizadas que se utilizan en el lenguaje conversacional. Estas fórmulas locutivas tienen distintas funciones: saludar, rechazar peticiones, ironizar sobre expresiones inapropiadas, advertir sobre la improcedencia de ciertas acciones o hábitos, señalar los posibles males que se derivan de ciertos actitudes, dar una respuesta ingeniosa a una provocación o insulto, etc… Muchas de estas matracas tiene carácter ingenioso ya que se trata de quedar socialmente por encima del interlocutor. La lengua china tiene, lo mismo que otras lenguas, multitud de estas formulas comunicacionales de carácter idiomático, algunas de las cuales se exponen aquí para uso de los estudiosos interesados en el tema.The "matracas" are sayings, idioms, conversational formulas and standard phrases used in the conversational language. They have different functions: greeting, refusing requests, satirizing misconduct, warning about the inadmissibility of certain actions o behaviors, warning of the potential evils arising from certain acts of individuals, and they also are the formulas to contrast the hostile actions. Many of these "matracas" have the compelling character that try to intimidate and silence the speaker. The Chinese language, like other languages, has many of these communicational formulas of idiomatic character, some of which are discussed here for use by the foreign students

Sobre las equivalencias interlingüísticas de las alusiones y arquetipos culturales

Los aspectos universales de las lenguas y culturas del mundo son fundamentales para la lingüística tipológica y para una comunicación interlingüística e intercultural. La búsqueda de las equivalencias interlingüísticas siempre es un enfoque crucial para los estudios tipológicos y traductológicos. Basándose en los relevantes estudios de los lingüistas y teóricos de traducción, el presente trabajo intenta indagar sobre los posibles equivalentes culturales del chino y español en la traducción de los ejemplos actuales periodísticos para discutir el tema en su texto y contexto y ofrecer una posible solución a la traducción lingüística y cultural entre las dos lenguas.The universal aspects of languages and cultures of the world are fundamental for typological, linguistics, interlinguistic and intercultural communication. The search for interlinguistic equivalences is always a crucial approach for typological and traductological studies. Based on relevant studies both of linguists and translation theorists, this paper attempts to explore possible cultural equivalents of Chinese and Spanish in the translation of current journalistic examples. To that extent we will discuss the topic in its text and context and offer a possible solution to the linguistic and cultural translation between the two languages

La difusión del té chino

Different from the global circulation of modern standardized products, the spreading of Chinese tea since ancient times has never been a simple matter of transportation and logistics. Material carriers, spreading routes, local integration, change of times... The interweaving of many factors leads to spontaneous balance between tea's commodity attributes and cultural labels. This paper focuses on the longitudinal spreading of tea, i.e., the morphological changes in the long history of China, and the horizontal spreading. The geographically horizontal spreading is focused on the Japanese tea ceremony and the Tea-horse Ancient Road as examples to illustrate the relevant issues.A diferencia de los productos estandarizados del té, la difusión del té chino nunca ha sido una simple cuestión de transporte y logística, y está estrechamente relacionado con la substancia, rutas de propagación, difusión localizada, cambios de épocas, etc. Todos estos elementos mezclados hacen que el té mantenga un equilibrio espontáneo entre propiedad mercantil y etiqueta cultural. Este trabajo investiga principalmente sobre la difusión vertical (cambios a lo largo de la historia de China) y horizontal del té chino. Y en la difusión horizontal toma como ejemplo la ceremonia del té japonesa en comparación con la china para aclarar las cuestiones relacionadas

Seismic performance evaluation of a high-rise building with structural irregularities

In this study, the seismic performances of a 14-storey office building in Nanjing, China, due to its plan and vertical irregularities in the structural system, were evaluated using the response spectrum method, elastic time history analysis and elastic–plastic time history analysis. In combination of these three methods, the storey drifts and elastic–plastic states of typical structural members under three levels of earthquakes were determined to verify the robustness of the structural design program. The damage states of typical structural members at some sensitive positions were estimated and evaluated under rare earthquakes. Consequently, all structural members were within the scope of elastic performances under the actions of frequent earthquakes. The maximum displacements and storey drifts satisfied the requirements of the design codes within the scope of elastic or elastic–plastic deformations. The induced damages could reach “moderate damage” states, satisfying the requirements for the expected performances by the codes. The consequences indicated that the design scheme and critical parameters for the building structure satisfied the requirements of seismic performances from the codes
