    Una aproximación crítica a la educación intercultural y el aprendizaje y enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras: las ideologías de género neoliberales en los libros de texto de E/LE

    In line with the understanding of the role of critical pedagogy in intercultural language education, in this paper we focus on critical discourse and sociolinguistic analysis of contemporary textbooks of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL). We search for neoliberal gender ideologies in educational discourses targeting international audience of students of SFL. Even though new textbooks are said to promote the “feminization” of educational contexts (Gray 2010), we interpret them as sources of latent hegemonic influences favoring highly regulated and standardized neoliberal capitalist worldviews toward gender. Based on previous research of textbooks of SFL (Bori 2018; Kuzmanović Jovanović 2016), we herein present results of an instrumental qualitative case study (emancipatory focus group research) taking a critical stand toward neoliberal gender ideologies among predominantly female university students of Spanish at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade who are exposed to the above outlined teaching and learning materials. Our objective is to create a new educational space in our SFL classrooms in which contextualized knowledge construction takes place leading to the maturation of SFL users and teachers, who are “capable of changing their reality in ways related to formal and informal educational settings” (Filipović 2015: 105).En línea con el entendimiento del papel de la pedagogía crítica en la educación intercultural de lenguas, en este trabajo nos centramos en el análisis del discurso crítico y sociolingüístico de los libros de texto contemporáneos del español como lengua extranjera (ELE). Buscamos ideologías de género capitalistas neoliberales en discursos educativos dirigidos a la audiencia internacional de estudiantes de ELE. Aunque se ha dicho que dichos textos promueven la “feminización” de los contextos educativos (Gray 2010), en esta investigación los interpretamos como fuentes de influencias hegemónicas latentes que favorecen los puntos de vista neoliberales capitalistas altamente reguladas y estandarizadas hacia el género. Basándonos en las investigaciones previas de libros de texto de ELE (Bori 2018; Kuzmanović Jovanović 2016), en este trabajo llevamos a cabo un estudio de caso instrumental cualitativo (en forma de un grupo focal emancipatorio), con el objetivo de desarrollar una visión crítica de las ideologías neoliberales de género entre estudiantes universitarias de ELE en la Facultad de Filología de la Universidad de Belgrado, que están expuestas a los materiales de enseñanza y aprendizaje descritos. Nuestro objetivo es crear un nuevo espacio educativo en nuestras aulas de ELE en el que tenga lugar una construcción del conocimiento contextualizada que conduzca a la maduración de las usuarias y maestras de ELE, “capacitadas para cambiar la realidad didáctica en contextos educativos formales e informales” (Filipović 2015, p. 105)

    Uticaj prirodnog ekstrakta ruzmarina na oksidativnu stabilnost prženog kukuruznog čipsa

    In this paper, the effects of the natural extract of rosemary on oxidative stability and the sensory properties of corn chips without antioxidant, with antioxidant and antioxidant and linseed (4%) was observed. The natural extract of rosemary Synerox HT (antioxidant) was added in an amount of 1250 ppm (0.125%) on the amount of palm oil for frying the corn chips. Corn chips without antioxidant after 3 months of storage in laboratory conditions (30 °C), is already slightly rancid (1.53 mg of malonaldehyde kg-1 of the final product). Corn chips with antioxidant do not show signs of rancidity after 4 months of storage in laboratory conditions (1.05 mg of malonaldehyde kg-1 of the final product).U ovom radu posmatran je uticaj prirodnog ekstrakta ruzmarina na promenu oksidativne stabilnosti i senzornih osobina kukuruznog čipsa bez antioksidansa, sa antioksidansom i antioksidansom i semenkama lana (4%). Prirodni ekstrakt ruzmarina Synerox HT (antioksidans) dodat je u količini od 1250 ppm (0,125%) na količinu palminog ulja za prženje kukuruznog čipsa. Kukuruzni čips bez antioksidansa nakon 3. meseca čuvanja u laboratorijskim uslovima (30 °C), već je blago užegao (1,53 mg malonaldehida kg-1 gotovog proizvoda). Kukuruzni čips sa antioksidansom ne pokazuje znake užeglosti nakon 4. meseca čuvanja u laboratorijskim uslovima (1,05 mg malonaldehida kg-1 gotovog proizvoda)

    QSAR Model for Predicting Antioxidan Capacity of Some Polyphenolic Antioxidants

    Quantitative structure–activity relationship model (QSAR models) is useful method for predicting antioxidant capacity of a molecule based on some chemical-physics properties. In our development of QSAR model are included 21 structural similar antioxidants. It is shown that taking into account some thermodynamical and thermochemical parameters of antioxidant and chemical activity is possible to generate fair antiradical QSAR models

    Combined nevi (CN) are clinically defined as melanocytic lesions comprising two or more distinct melanocytic nevus components, and from the cytological point of view, CN are determined by the presence of two or more different nevus cell types in one biopsy specimen. They are very uncommon and represent less than 1% of all biopsied melanocytic nevi. CN comprise any melanocytic nevi, but the most prevalent combination is CN that consist of blue nevus associated with common melanocytic nevus. CN owe their diversity to combination of different nevi, that are variously combined. Consequently, they can have variable clinical aspects and dermatoscopic features. Because of the presence of at least two distinct subtypes of nevomelanocytes, dermatoscopically CN can show multicomponent, unspecific, and peculiar patterns. Therefore, CN can mimic melanomas, their most important differential clinical, dermatoscopical and histopathological diagnosis

    Sinteza konjugata fenoprofena i gemfibrozila s kopolimerom stirena i maleinske kiseline

    Two types of polymer-drug conjugates were synthesized starting from styrene-maleic acid anhydride copolymer (SMA). Fenoprofen and gemfibrozil were chosen as model drugs because of their short plasma half lives. Both drugs were first converted to their 2-aminoethylamides, which possess free amino groups capable of reacting with SMA anhydride rings. By modifying the degree and type of substitution, lipophilic and hydrophilic conjugates were obtained. Drug loading in the conjugates was between 17 and 47%.U radu je opisana sinteza polimer-lijek konjugata polazeći od kopolimera stirena i anhidrida maleinske kiseline (SMA) i fenoprofena, odnosno gemfibrozila, ljekovitih tvari s kratkim vremenom zadržavanja u plazmi. Fenoprofen i gemfibrozil su prvo prevedeni u 2-aminoetilamide, koji su zbog slobodne amino skupine mogli reagirati s anhidridnim prstenovima u SMA. Modifikacijom tipa i vrste supstitucije pripravljeni su lipofilni i hidrofilni konjugati. Udio vezanog lijeka u konjugatima bio je između 17 and 47%

    Ground Level Air Beryllium-7 and Ozone in Belgrade

    Three sets of data covering the 2004-2007 period are examined: two beryllium-7 series and ozone measured in ground level air. The measuring sites are at three different locations in Belgrade, Serbia. The temporal evolution of beryllium-7 and ozone is presented, as well as their mutual correlations. Beryllium-7 data for Belgrade agree well with the results for other locations in the region. The correlation between two beryllium-7 data sets is 0.57. The results for ozone indicate that Belgrade is not a common continental site, as the maximum in ozone distribution is reached in springtime. The overall correlation between beryllium-7 and ozone is good, but varies over different seasons. A large correlation (0.67) is noted between beryllium-7 measured at the site in Vinca, Serbia, and the monthly maximum ozone in autumn. An analysis which assumes the transport of air masses from the stratosphere, along which the only process changing the air mass composition is radioactive decay of beryllium-7, does not conclusively confirm the high correlation between beryllium-7 and ozone in autumn

    MODELLING CONVECTIVE THIN-LAYER DRYING OF CARROT SLICES AND QUALITY PARAMETERS

    The influence of thin layer convective dehydration parameters on drying kinetics parameters, chemical composition, and color parameters of carrot slices were investigated, and corresponding mathematical models were developed. In the carrot slices, convective dehydration process hot air temperature and the sample slice thickness were varied, while measured, calculated, and modeled responses were: time of dehydration, effective moisture diffusivity, the energy of activation, proteins and cellulose contents, lightness, redness, and yellowness. The obtained results showed that varied convective dehydration process parameters statistically significantly affected all investigated responses except activation energy. The most efficient drying model with the minimum thickness (3 mm) and the maximum drying temperature (70 °C) had the shortest drying time (231 minutes). This model had the minimum resistance to mass transfer (the minimum effective moisture diffusivity, 2.04. 10–08 – 7.12. 10–08 [m2s–1]), and the average maximum energy of activation (31.31 kJ/mol). As far as the carrot slices’ chemical composition and color parameters were concerned, the model with the maximum thickness (9 mm) and the minimum drying temperature (35 °C) was the optimal one. This model had the longest dehydration time (934 minutes), the maximum resistance to the mass transfer (8.87. 10–08 [m2s–1]), the minimum total protein content (5.26 %), and the darkest color (49.70). The highest protein content (7.91%) was found for the samples subjected to the highest drying temperatures and the lowest carrot slice thickness. In contrast, the process of convective dehydration had led to the lighter, reddish, and yellowish carrot slices. All developed mathematical models were statistically significan

Aim of modern science is development of groceries with beneficial effects on human health. Such products reduce risk of development of various diseases allowing the prevention in the same time. Application of medical herbs and their extracts represent a new trend in food industry with high potential for development new technological processes as well as new products. In this study, application of stinging nettle leaves in the formulation of new bakery products was described.Balkansko poluostrvo obiluje značajnim brojem lekovitih biljnih vrsta. Kroz tradicionalnu upotrebu i savremenu nauku dokazano je prisustvo značajnih jedinjenja u lekovitom bilju sa visokom biloškom aktivnošću. Cilj nauke danas je razvoj prehrambenih proizvoda koji pozitivno utiču na zdravlje, daju mogućnost prevencije i istovremeno smanjuju rizik od pojave bolesti. Primena lekovitog bilja i njihovih ekstrakta je nov trend u prehrambenoj industriji koji je stvorio širok tehnološki potencijal za razvoj novih tehnoloških procesa i proizvoda različite namene.
