Analytical and experimental study of electrical conductivity in the lithium tantalate nonstoichiometric structure
We have been interested to experimental and analytical studies of ionic conductivity of nonstoichiometric LiTaO3 solid solutions. Theoretical approach combined with lithium and tantalate vacancy models has been performed. A comparative study between the calculated and measured values is presented taking into account the temperature and composition effects on the conductivity. We have been interested to experimental and analytical studies of ionic conductivity of nonstoichiometric LiTaO3 solid solutions. Crystal growth and characterization of mixed lead halides PbCl2xBr2(1-x)
Single crystals of PbCl2-type solid solutions PbCl2xBr2(1−x) have been grown using the Bridgeman technique. XRD measurements reveal preferential site occupancy for Cl and Br, while the anion array of PbClBr is completely ordered. The temperature and composition dependence of the ionic conductivity of the solid solution crystals have been studied. While cation conducting Schottky- or Frenkel-type solid solutions obtained by homovalent anion doping reveal substantial conductivity enhancements, the present anion conducting Schottky-type solid solutions exhibit the opposite effect. This will be discussed in relation to the ordering effects, and homovalent dopant induced lattice distortions on the number and mobility of the conducting defects
Novel and improved method for the synthesis of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole derivatives
International audience2-mercaptobenzimidazole derivatives were synthesized by reaction of o-phenylenediamines with N-aminorhodanine. This reaction represent a new synthesis of 2-mercaptobenzazole. The structure of the obtained products was established by spectroscopic data. © 2016, Oriental Scientific Publishing Company. All rights reserved
