    Breastfeeding Friendly Airport to Support Healthy Tourism

    Motivation for breastfeeding and social support is very important for the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Breastfeeding support and motivation is obtained from family, leaders and the government. The implication of the government support given is the existence of regulations for organizer of public facilities that stating that the owner of public facilities must support the exclusive breastfeeding program at the airport. The airport is an important means for the mobility of both domestic and foreign tourist. The role of airport is very important to realizing healthy tourism. This study used a case study design. The subjects of this study were the leaders, staff and visitors of Adisutjipto International Airport. The number of informants is five people. The research instruments were interview guides and observation forms. Knowledge, attitudes and informant support for the exclusive breastfeeding program are good. There needs to be a stronger promotion effort for all levels of society so that exclusive breastfeeding programs can be achieved. Provision of nursery rooms at Adisutjipto International Airport is in accordance with government standards with facilities such as tables, chairs, baby boxes, washing stand, dispensers and trash can. Adisutjipto International Airport is confirmed as a breastfeeding friendly airport

    Pasar tradisional merupakan tempat transaksi kebutuhan pokok bagi masyarakat. Informasi lokasi pasar tradisional bagi warga masyarakat di Denpasar merupakan intrumen yang sangat penting. Sehingga perlu mengembangkan sebuah sistem yang dapat merepresentasikan lokasi atau posisi pasar tradisional tersebut. Sistem informasi geografis merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk merepresentasikan lokasi pasar tradisional. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun Sistem Informasi Geografis sebaran Pasar Tradisional di Kota Denpasar. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan konvensional atau terstruktur. Alat yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem adalah Data Flow Diagram dan perancangan basisdata menggunakan alat Entity Relationship Diagram. Framework yang digunakan dalam pengembangan Sistem Informasi Geografis sebaran pasar tradisional di Kota Denpasar adalah YII Framework. Pengembangan sistem diawali dengan membuat perancangan dari sistem informasi geografis sebaran pasar tradisional yaitu perancangan sistem menggunakan Data Flow Diagram (DFD) yang terdiri atas konteks diagram; perancangan basis data yang terdiri atas Entity Relationship Diagram dan konseptual basis data; serta perancangan sistem antarmuka. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah representasi informasi sebaran lokasi atau posisi pasar tradisional di Kota Denpasar

    Strange Meson Enhancement in PbPb Collisions

    The NA44 Collaboration has measured yields and differential distributions of K+, K-, pi+, pi- in transverse kinetic energy and rapidity, around the center-of-mass rapidity in 158 A GeV/c Pb+Pb collisions at the CERN SPS. A considerable enhancement of K+ production per pi is observed, as compared to p+p collisions at this energy. To illustrate the importance of secondary hadron rescattering as an enhancement mechanism, we compare strangeness production at the SPS and AGS with predictions of the transport model RQMD.Comment: 11 pages, including 4 figures, LATE

    Recent Advances in Understanding Particle Acceleration Processes in Solar Flares

    We review basic theoretical concepts in particle acceleration, with particular emphasis on processes likely to occur in regions of magnetic reconnection. Several new developments are discussed, including detailed studies of reconnection in three-dimensional magnetic field configurations (e.g., current sheets, collapsing traps, separatrix regions) and stochastic acceleration in a turbulent environment. Fluid, test-particle, and particle-in-cell approaches are used and results compared. While these studies show considerable promise in accounting for the various observational manifestations of solar flares, they are limited by a number of factors, mostly relating to available computational power. Not the least of these issues is the need to explicitly incorporate the electrodynamic feedback of the accelerated particles themselves on the environment in which they are accelerated. A brief prognosis for future advancement is offered.Comment: This is a chapter in a monograph on the physics of solar flares, inspired by RHESSI observations.     IDSS: deformation invariant signatures for molecular shape comparison

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Many molecules of interest are flexible and undergo significant shape deformation as part of their function, but most existing methods of molecular shape comparison (MSC) treat them as rigid bodies, which may lead to incorrect measure of the shape similarity of flexible molecules.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>To address the issue we introduce a new shape descriptor, called Inner Distance Shape Signature (IDSS), for describing the 3D shapes of flexible molecules. The inner distance is defined as the length of the shortest path between landmark points within the molecular shape, and it reflects well the molecular structure and deformation without explicit decomposition. Our IDSS is stored as a histogram which is a probability distribution of inner distances between all sample point pairs on the molecular surface. We show that IDSS is insensitive to shape deformation of flexible molecules and more effective at capturing molecular structures than traditional shape descriptors. Our approach reduces the 3D shape comparison problem of flexible molecules to the comparison of IDSS histograms.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>The proposed algorithm is robust and does not require any prior knowledge of the flexible regions. We demonstrate the effectiveness of IDSS within a molecular search engine application for a benchmark containing abundant conformational changes of molecules. Such comparisons in several thousands per second can be carried out. The presented IDSS method can be considered as an alternative and complementary tool for the existing methods for rigid MSC.     Event Texture Search for Phase Transitions in Pb+Pb Collisions

    NA44 uses a 512 channel Si pad array covering 1.5<η<3.31.5 <\eta < 3.3 to study charged hadron production in 158 A GeV Pb+Pb collisions at the CERN SPS. We apply a multiresolution analysis, based on a Discrete Wavelet Transformation, to probe the texture of particle distributions event-by-event, allowing simultaneous localization of features in space and scale. Scanning a broad range of multiplicities, we search for signals of clustering and of critical behavior in the power spectra of local density fluctuations. The data are compared with detailed simulations of detector response, using heavy ion event generators, and with a reference sample created via event mixing. An upper limit is set on the probability and magnitude of dynamical fluctuations
