Mental disorders that most affect university teachers: a study in a medical expertise service
Objectives: verifying the types of mental disorders that most affect teachers treated in a service of medical expertise. Method: a retrospective study of documental nature with a quantitative approach developed in a Higher Education Institution of João Pessoa city - PB. The sample was composed of 254 sheets of teachers treated in a service of medical expertise of the institution selected for the study, in the period from January to 1999 to March 2011. Data obtained were analyzed through frequency and percentage. Results: almost all the sample was composed of female teachers, aged between 40 and 49, and depression was responsible for 52% absenteeism of teachers, followed by schizophrenia (12%), bipolar disorder (10%), acute reaction to stress (8%), anxiety (7%), delusional disorder (4%), and others (8%). Conclusion: the mental disorder that most affects the searched teacher category is depression. Therefore, further investigations are needed that can analyze the severity of this problematic pathology in academic area
Strategies to humanize the care of hospitalized elderly: study with assistant nurses
Objective: Investigating the strategies that nurses use to watch the hospitalized elderly. Method: this is
an exploratory study of qualitative nature. The research was conducted at a University Hospital with
fifteen clinical nurses. To facilitate the data collection was used the interview technique. The empirical
material was analyzed qualitatively, using the Technique of Content Analysis. Results: From the
qualitative analysis emerged three themes: reception and individualized nursing care and respect for the
autonomy of elderly patients; respect to beliefs, values, the privacy and identity of the elderly patient,
recovery of verbal and nonverbal communication to the patient and his family. Conclusion: This study
demonstrates the commitment of nurses participating in the research regarding the humanized nursing
care directed to hospitalized elderly

Producción cientÃfica sobre asedio sexual y enfermerÃa: estudio bibliométrico
Objective: To verify bibliometric indicators of the scientific production available in online journals that approach workplace bullying and nursing. Method: A bibliometric study making use of Bradford’s law, Zipf ’s law, and textual statistics was carried out with publications in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, made available in national and international databases, from 2000 to 2016. Results: The sample was made up of 111 publications. The main authors had connections with 91 institutions distributed in 24 countries. The United States, Brazil, and Australia were the countries with the most publications. The populations of the studies were made up of nursing professionals and students, and the hospital environment was the most studied setting. The journals with a higher number of publications have international scientific influence. The terms that presented greater semantic power and high frequency in the abstracts were: bullying; assédio moral; and acoso laboral. Conclusion: Indicators showed that workplace bullying occurs in the nursing work environments of several countries, and the number of publications on this theme has tended to increase. Diversifying methods and study settings is important to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and fight against this violence
Calgary Model in The Nursing Framework: An Integrative Literature Review / Modelo Calgary no Âmbito da Enfermagem: Revisão Integrativa da Literatura
Objetivo: Caracterizar a produção cientÃfica acerca da aplicação do Modelo Calgary de Avaliação Familiar, publicada em periódicos on-line da área de enfermagem. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada na BVS, Portal CAPES e PUBMED, cuja amostra correspondeu a 18 artigos publicados entre 2014 e 2019. Os dados foram coletados nos meses de agosto e setembro de 2019. Resultados: A maior concentração de publicações ocorreu nos anos de 2018 e 2017, com 4 (22,2%) publicações em cada ano. Com relação à abordagem dos estudos, predominaram os qualitativos, com 15 (83,3%) artigos. Quanto à modalidade das publicações, destaca-se os estudos originais. Conclusão: Os resultados revelaram que a produção cientÃfica investigada se destaca como uma temática relevante e vem gradativamente apresentando uma expansão no campo da enfermagem

Método: estudo retrospectivo, de natureza documental, desenvolvido em instituição de ensino superior do municÃpio de João Pessoa–PB. Amostra constituÃda por 254 fichas de docentes atendidos em um serviço de perÃcia médica da instituição selecionada. Os dados obtidos foram analisados quantitativamente por frequência e percentual. Resultados: quase toda a amostra foi composta por docentes do sexo feminino, com faixa etária entre 40 e 49 anos. A depressão foi responsável por 53% dos afastamentos de professores, a esquizofrenia (12%), o transtorno bipolar (10%), a reação aguda ao estresse (8%), a ansiedade (7%), os transtornos delirantes (4%) e outros (8%). Conclusão: o transtorno mental que mais acomete a categoria docente pesquisada é a depressão. Portanto, são necessárias novas investigações que possam analisar a gravidade dessa problemática
Strategies to humanize the care of hospitalized elderly: study with assistant nurses
Objetivo: Investigar as estratégias que enfermeiros assistenciais empregam para assistir o idoso hospitalizado. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, de natureza qualitativa. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em um Hospital Universitário, com quinze enfermeiros assistenciais. Para viabilizar a coleta dos dados, foi utilizada a técnica de entrevista. O material empÃrico foi analisado qualitativamente, mediante a técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Da análise qualitativa emergiram três categorias: Acolhimento, assistência de enfermagem individualizada e respeito à autonomia do paciente idoso; Respeito à s crenças, aos valores, à privacidade e à identidade do paciente idoso; Valorização da comunicação verbal e não verbal para o paciente e sua famÃlia. Conclusão:Este estudo evidencia o compromisso dos enfermeiros participantes da pesquisa no que tange ao cuidado humanizado de enfermagem direcionado ao idoso hospitalizado.
