Origin and evolution of the residental palaces and villas in Vojvodina designed in art nouveau style (secession style) in late nineteenth and early twentieth century

Спроведено истраживање је научна студија која се бави резиденцијалном архитектуром у Војводини односно палатама и вилама обликованим у стилу сецесије у временском периоду који обухвата последњу деценију ХIX и почетак ХХ века до Првог светског рата. У Уводу се разматрају предмет рада, циљеви и задаци истраживања, полазне хипотезе и научне методе истраживања. Предмет који се разматра у овом истраживању је свеобухватна анализа уметничких, културолошких и социолошких аспеката везаних за појаву снажног грађанског сталежа, као најважнијег инвеститора у Војводини крајем XIX и почетком XX века, и њиховог утицаја на развој резиденцијалне архитектуре. Предмет истраживања у ужем смислу су карактеристични објекти резиденцијалног карактера обликовани у духу сецесије, који су изабрани као репрезенти кућа и стамбених палата у средини у којој су настали. Основни циљ истраживања је да се детаљније проучи архитектура резиденцијалних објеката – палата и вила саграђених у Војводини од појаве првих облика сецесије у последњој деценији XIX века до гашења овог стилског израза 1914. године. У уводном делу су изнете и основне полазне хипотезе везане за време појаве сецесије у Војводини, затим за мешање стилских утицаја великих центара и локалне средине, за утицај различитих етничких заједница као и појединачних инвеститора на архитектуру, као и за допринос које су стамбене палате и виле дале процесу урбанизације војвођанских градова почетком ХХ века. Под утицајем ових различитих тенденција формирају се локални архитекти који стварају специфична и веома оригинална ауторска дела. Друго поглавље носи назив „Историјске и друштвене околности у Европи и Војводини крајем XIX и почетком XX века и појава нових архитектонских израза“. Почиње кратким приказом европског друштва на прелому векова са акцентом на велике промене у разним сегментима живота, укључујући и убрзан технолошки развој, велике III демографске промене у градовима, развој грађанске свести и демократизација друштва. Посебан акценат стављен је на период fin-de-siecle у Бечу с обзиром да је ова метропола имала највећи утицај на подручје Војводине...The presented study is a scientific study that deals with residential architecture in Vojvodina and palaces and villas designed in the Art Nouveau style in the period that includes the last decade of XIX and the beginning of XX century to the First World War. The Introduction discusses the subject of work, goals and tasks of research, starting hypotheses and scientific research methods. The case considered in this study is a comprehensive analysis of artistic, cultural and sociological aspects related to the emergence of a strong middle class, as the most important investors in Vojvodina in late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and their influence on the development of residential architecture. Case studies of character of the typical residential buildings designed in the spirit of Secession were selected as representatives of residential houses and palaces in the environment in which they are incurred. The main goal of this research was to study the detailed architecture of residential buildings - palaces and villas built in Vojvodina since the first forms of Art Nouveau in the last decade of the nineteenth century to the closing of this stylistic expression 1914th year. The introduction presents the basic and initial hypotheses regarding the timing of secession in Vojvodina, then mixing stylistic influence of large centers and local communities, the impact of different ethnic groups and individual investors on the architecture, as well as the contribution of the residential buildings and villas made the process of urbanization towns from the early XX century. Under the influence of these different tendencies local architects created a unique and very original works of authorship. The second chapter is entitled "The historical and social conditions in Europe and Vojvodina in late nineteenth and early twentieth century and the emergence of new architectural expression." Begins with a brief review of the European society at the turn of the centuries with an emphasis on major changes in various aspects of life, including rapid technological development, demographic changes in the major cities, the development of civil society and VIII democracy. Special emphasis is placed on the period of fin-de-siecle Vienna considering that the metropolis had the greatest impact on the region of Vojvodina..

The Impact of Climate Change on Cultural Heritage

Postojanost kulturnog nasleđa značajno je povezana sa uslovima životne sredine i svih njenih faktora. Proučavanje klimatskih karakteristika jedno je od najvažnijih pitanja u oblasti savremenih istraživanja životne sredine. Posledice klimatskih promena kao jednog od najvećih izazova za čovečanstvo, veoma su raznovrsne a između ostalog tiču se i kulturnog nasleđa. U ovom radu se daje pregled i istovremeno analiziraju neki od trenutnih i potencijalnih uticaja klimatskih promena na različite grupe kulturnog nasleđa, s ciljem da se jasnije predstavi kako pojedini faktori klimatskih promena utiču na specifične kategorije kulturnog nasleđa. Rešenje za neke od aktuelnih i potencijalnih uticaja moguće je potražiti u adaptaciji i prilagođavanju klimatskim promenama.The persistence of cultural heritage is significantly linked to environmental conditions and all related factors. The study of climatic characteristics is one of the most important issues in the field of contemporary environmental research. The consequences of climate change as one of the greatest challenges for humankind are very diverse and also include an impact on cultural heritage. This paper provides simultaneously an overview and analysis of some of the current and potential impacts of climate changes on different cultural heritage groups, with the aim to provide a clearer picture of how particular climate change factors affect specific categories of cultural heritage.
