The proposed paper belongs to the literature on food demand and optimal taxation and to the literature dealing with economics of alcohol production and consumption. We investigate the question of optimal taxation for the commodity whose consumption has positive and negative features both for individual consumer and for the society. The Estimation of Complete Almost Ideal Demand System from Czech Household Budget Survey Data

The aim of this paper is to provide a reliable set of income, own-price, and cross-price elasticities of demand for the consumer goods, foods and alcohol beverages based on Almost Ideal Demand System model applied to the most relevant Czech data set of Household Budget Statistics. Státní podpora českého zemědělského úvěru v období před vstupem do Evropské unie / Government Support of the Czech Agricultural Credit in the Period Before the Accession to the European Union [available in Czech only]

The paper is dealing with the credit support to the Czech agriculture provided by Supporting and Guarantee Agricultural and Forestry Fund (SGAFF) during the ten years period since the inception of its activities in 1994 do the year 2003 which preceded to the Czech entry into European Union (EU) and accession to the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU. SGAFF guaranteed relatively stable inflow of commercial bank credit for agriculture provided according to the market determined allocation, which is considered as an opposite to the administrative decisions. We evaluated the multiplication effect of the credit support which shows that one monetary unit allocated from the government budget to the support of agricultural credit secured commercial credit in the range of 3-5 monetary units.agriculture; credit; multiplication effect; government support

Srovnání vývoje českých a slovenských institucí v oblasti zemědělských financí / Czech and Slovak Agriculture Financial Institutions [available in Czech only]

The article is dealing with the evolution of Czech and Slovak institutions of government support of agricultural credit during the period of economic transition. Both the development of credit and the forms of government support used in the Czech Republic are compared with their corresponding counterparts in Slovakia. V první části své práce se věnuji základním typům vzdělávání, které probíhají v současné moderní Africe. Uvádím zde pět základních typů vzdělávání, jež jsou neodmyslitelně spjaty s africkým kontinentem. V dalším oddíle své práce se detailněji zaměřuji na jednotlivé africké země. Největší důraz kladu na to, aby u každé země byla uvedena historie, současnost a případně i budoucnost tamního vzdělávání. Podrobně se u každé země zabývám vzdělávacími stupni a historií, která se vzdělávání týká. Jelikož na téma vzdělávacích systémů v Africe neexistuje dostatek odborné literatury, mým cílem je vytvořit základní stručný přehled do vzdělávacího systému afrických zemí a umožnit tak veřejnosti dozvědět se více o africkém vzdělávání souhrnně v jedné publikaci. Na vzniku své práce jsem spolupracoval s velvyslanectvími daných afrických zemí, ministerstvy, církevními a mezinárodními organizacemi.In the first part of my thesis I attend to the basic types of education, which are now proceeding in the modern Africa. I mention five basic types of education, that are adherent to African continent. In the next part of my work I focus on each single African land and lay the biggest stress on the history, presence and eventually future of the local education. In detail I deal with educational levels and history, which refers to education. There is not so much specialized literature about the educational system in Africa ant that is why I would like to create a basic brief compendium of educational system in the African lands and facilitate other people to learn more about this topic collectively in one publication. Monitoring Hybrid Net Infrastructure

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vývoji univerzálního monitorovacího systému zařízení v hybridní síti pro společnost SELF servis. Systém slouží k ověření dostupnosti pomocí ICMP-paketů a ke sledování hodnot s využitím SNMP protokolu. V textu naleznete popis analýzy požadavků, návrhu systému a samotné implementace. V závěrečné kapitole se věnuji výsledkům z reálného provozu a nápadům pro další vývoj.This bachelor thesis follows developement of automatic monitoring system of devices in hybrid network for SELF servis company. System's purpose is to check availability by ICMP packets and to watch values by SNMP protocol. In this text you'll find description of requirements analysis, design of the system and implementation. Information laundering: fake news websites in czech context

Práce se zabývá tématem dezinformačních webů v prostředí České republiky. Tento v posledních letech často skloňovaný fenomén je v českém kontextu úzce vázán na tzv. prokremelskou propagandu, která má za cíl vyvolávat v občanech strach, nedůvěru ve vládnoucí elity, v západní instituce, ve funkčnost liberální demokracie a v neposlední řadě ve veřejnoprávní média a média hlavního proudu obecně. Toho je dosahováno produkcí dezinformací, tedy smyšlených, nepravdivých či manipulativních článků, které se šíří skrze sociální sítě. I přes svoji nedůvěryhodnost a vyvratitelnost se často v nějaké podobě dostávají do veřejné debaty, čímž získávají schopnost formovat veřejné mínění a ve výsledku i politická rozhodnutí. Ke zkoumání celého procesu využiji koncept Adama Kleina zvaný information laundering, který popisuje techniky, kterými se nenávistné články, osobní názory či přímo lživé zprávy v online prostředí navenek legitimizují a následně šíří skrze sociální sítě pod rouškou seriózní žurnalistiky. Vedle popisu jednotlivých aspektů celého mechanismu si práce klade za cíl pomocí kvantitativních analýz kompletně zmapovat sféru dezinformačních médií u nás, jejich webové stránky i profily na sociálních sítích Facebook a YouTube. Kromě toho bude podrobeno analýze publikum těchto webů, cesty, jimiž se čtenáři k...The thesis follows up a topic of fake news within the borders of Czech Republic. This frequently discussed phenomena is often linked to the pro-Kremlin propaganda, whose aim is to evoke fear across the citizens, as well as raise distrust towards reigning authorities, western institutions, a functionality of liberal democracy and at last but not least - distrust towards public media and mainstream media in general. This is being achieved by production of fake news, also known as fictive, false or manipulative articles, that are being spread through the social media. Despite its low credibility the news often make their way into the public discussion, forming the general opinion and as a result affecting many political decisions. In order to follow this topic up further, I will put in use the Adam Klein's concept, also known as information laundering.This concept describes the ways how these hateful articles, personal opinions and straight up false news are getting legitimised within the online world and subsequently spread through the social media under the disguise of respectable journalism. Traction Drive with PMSM: Frequency Characteristics Measurement

This paper describes a new method formeasurement of frequency characteristics of ac tractiondrives. It helps to find dangerous resonant frequencies ofthe traction drive supplied from a dc electrification systemand it allows finding danger oscillations of the dc-link LCfilter. The presented method has verified a drive with asurface mounted PMSM controlled by DTC. The resultsprove that the drive amplifies LC filter oscillations underconstant taken power. We have proposed an improvementof the drive control in order to protect the drive against thisphenomenon.
