Creation of Database and Classification of Diatoms

Výsledná aplikace pracuje s vytvořenou databází, obsahující obrázky jednotlivých rozsivek a informace o nich uložené v XML dokumentu. Nad touto databází jsou zajištěny základní operace přidávání, úpravy, mazání a vyhledávání. Vyhledávání může probíhat třemi způsoby, a to pomocí textových vstupů, obrázkových vstupů nebo jejich kombinací. Algoritmus vyhledávání pomocí obrázkových vstupů se snaží najít v databázi co nejpodobnější kandidáty s ohledem na tvar a tloušťku schránky rozsivky a na vnitřní strukturu rozsivky jako takové. Toto vyhledávání je nejčastěji znepřesněno kvalitou pořízených snímků, či obrázků porovnávaných rozsivek. Program obsahuje přehledné a intuitivní grafické rozhraní, jež nám pohodlně umožňuje prohlížet stávající databázi a provádět operace nad ní s možností nastavení filtrovacích hodnot při vyhledávání.The final application works with the designed database, containing images of the individual diatoms and the information about them stored in XML file. The basic operations over this database are secured, such as adding, modification, deleting and searching. The searching can be performed in three ways, by means of textual inputs, image inputs or their combination. The algorithm of searching by means of image inputs tries to find the most similar candidates within the database, considering the shape and thickness of a diatom shell and the internal structure of a diatom itself. This search is specified mostly by the quality of obtained pictures or images of the diatoms compared. The program contains a clear and intuitive graphic interface that conveniently enables us to browse the current database and to perform operations over it, contains set up filters for better recognition.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem a roztříděním pevných a pohyblivých ochranných krytů používaných ve stavbě obráběcích strojů. Dále seznamuje s aktuálními bezpečnostními normami pro konstrukci ochranných krytů a s jejich zkouškami.This bachelor´s thesis deals with the description and sorting of fixed and movable protective covers used in construction of machines tools. Furthermore acquaints with actual safety standards for the construction of protective covers and their tests.

Web Presentation for Local Authority via Wiki

Bakalářská práce pojednává o možnostech využití wiki systémů pro prezentaci obecních úřadů. Její součástí je i legislativní analýza požadavků na takovouto prezentaci a je definována specifikace takové aplikace. Na základě těchto zjištění je proveden návrh a implementace, která je ověřena v jednom konkretním wiki systému jménem XWiki.The Bachelor's Thesis discusses an application of wiki technology as a web presentation of a local authority. The thesis contains legislative and user requirements analysis and specification of that application. It describes design and implementation, which is demonstrated as a modification of the XWiki system.

Whitehead's Interpretation of Plato’s «Receptacle» and the Parallels with the Concept of «Eternal Objects»

The aim of this paper is to describe Whitehead’s specific interpretation of what was originally Plato’s concept of the "receptacle" (hypodoché). Whitehead, in line with his own process philosophy, understands Plato’s concept of the "receptacle" as a personal unity that, in its structural character, expresses the general principle that determines the constitution of the whole of our reality. The author of this paper begins by briefly describing Plato’s concept of hypodoché. The author then goes on to present Whitehead’s specific interpretation of this concept, which allows him to elaborate the potential parallels between Whitehead’s interpretation of hypodoché and his concept of "eternal objects". Finally, the author attempts to find the answer to a fundamental philosophical question: what in reality corresponds to Whitehead’s concept of "eternal objects". He suggests that a possible answer may be found in the General Systems Theory of Ludwig von Bertalanffy.Lo scopo di questo articolo è quello di descrivere la specifica interpretazione di Whitehead del concetto, originariamente platonico, di "ricettacolo" (hypodoché). Whitehead, in linea con la sua filosofia del processo, comprende il concetto di "ricettacolo" di Platone come un'unità personale, la quale, nel suo carattere strutturale, esprime il principio generale che determina la costituzione della nostra intera realtà. L'autore di questo articolo comincia con una breve descrizione del concetto di hypodoché di Platone. Successivamente, l'autore presenta la specifica interpretazione di Whitehead di tale concetto, così da elaborare i potenziali parallelismi tra l'interpretazione di Whitehead del concetto di hypodoché e il suo concetto di "oggetti eterni". Infine, l'autore tenta di trovare una risposta a una domanda filosofica fondamentale, ossia che cosa corrisponda nella realtà al concetto di Whitehead di "oggetti eterni". Secondo il suggerimento dell'autore, si può trovare una possibile risposta nella Teoria generale dei sistemi di Ludwig von Bertalanffy

Shortest Dominating Set Reconfiguration under Token Sliding

In this paper, we present novel algorithms that efficiently compute a shortest reconfiguration sequence between two given dominating sets in trees and interval graphs under the Token Sliding model. In this problem, a graph is provided along with its two dominating sets, which can be imagined as tokens placed on vertices. The objective is to find a shortest sequence of dominating sets that transforms one set into the other, with each set in the sequence resulting from sliding a single token in the previous set. While identifying any sequence has been well studied, our work presents the first polynomial algorithms for this optimization variant in the context of dominating sets.Comment: To appear at FCT 2023 (Fundamentals of Computation Theory
