    This paper intends to look deeper into finding an ideal mobile broadband solution. Special stress has been put in the South Asian region through some comparative analysis. Proving their competency in numerous aspects, WiMAX and LTE already have already made a strong position in telecommunication industry. Both WiMAX and LTE are 4G technologies designed to move data rather than voice having IP networks based on OFDM technology. So, they aren't like typical technological rivals as of GSM and CDMA. But still a gesture of hostility seems to outburst long before the stable commercial launch of LTE. In this paper various aspects of WiMAX and LTE for deployment have been analyzed. Again, we tried to make every possible consideration with respect to south Asia i.e. how mass people of this region may be benefited. As a result, it might be regarded as a good source in case of making major BWA deployment decisions in this region.     This study aims to describe the perception of married couples who have divorced to building harmonious family. The analysis is directed at the opinion of the informant research on the basic concept of harmonic family building which is understood to be glue of building harmonious family. This reserach is a case study using the qualitative approach. The results showed that couples who have been in Muslim Community in Manado city perceive that responsibility and mutual understanding, balance, and honesty is the foundation of harmonic family building

    Developing a framework for the analysis of power through depotentia

    Stakeholder participation in tourism policy-making is usually perceived as providing a means of empowerment. However participatory processes drawing upon stakeholders from traditionally empowered backgrounds may provide the means of removing empowerment from stakeholders. Such an outcome would be in contradiction to the claims that participatory processes improve both inclusivity and sustainability. In order to form an understanding of the sources through which empowerment may be removed, an analytical perspective has been developed deriving from Lukes�s views of power dating from 1974. This perspective considers the concept of depotentia as the removal of �power to� without speculating upon the underlying intent and also provides for the multidimensionality of power to be examined within a single study. The application of this analytical perspective has been tested upon findings of the government-commissioned report of the Countryside and Community Research Unit in 2005. The survey and report investigated the progress of Local Access Forums in England created in response to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. Consideration of the data from this perspective permits the classification of individual sources of depotentia which can each be addressed and potentially enable stakeholder groups to reverse loss of empowerment where it has occurred

    The purpose of this research effect in interaction sawdust ash and NPK Mg compound fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings and to get the best combination for the growth of oil palm seedlings phase main nursery. This research was conducted in the experimental field and Laboratory of Production Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau in Campus Binawidya Km 12.5 Simpang BaruPekanbaru. Have been implemented from Desember 2015 to Maret 2016.The research used Completely Randomized Design factorial that consisting of two factors. The first factor is sawdust ash(A) consists of four levels. The second factor is the NPK Mg fertilizer (N), which consists of 3 levels. Parametersmeasured were : seedling height increment,increase of leaves number, increase of hump diameter, root volume,seedling weight dry, ratio crown and root.Data obtained from the research results were statistically analyzed by analysis of variance followed by a further test of Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5%. The results showed giving sawdust ash and NPK Mg compound fertilizer no interaction in all parameters the observation of oil palm seedling except ratio crown and root

    First Report of New Delhi Metallo-beta-Lactamase (NDM-1) Producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Iraq

    Carbapenems are therapeutic choice against infections caused by Gram-negative bacilli including strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. New Delhi metallo-?-lactamase (NDM-1) is a novel metallo-?-lactamase (MBL).That confers resistance to all ?-lactamases. Sporadic cases of NDM-1 positive strains have been reported from different countries. The aim of this study was to determine the possibility of existence of NDM-1 gene among P. aeruginosa isolates collected from Najaf hospitals. Thirty-six carbapenem resistant P. aeruginosa isolates were collected from various clinical samples. The susceptibility to different antibiotics was evaluated by disk diffusion method, MICs of imipenem and meropenem were determined. The blaNDM was detected by PCR. All isolate were multidrug resistance. Two isolates were harbored blaNDM genes. The MICs of isolates to imipenem and meropenem were 4-128 ?g/mL and 4-256 ?g/mL, respectively. The study  concluded that production of MBL enzymes presents an emerging threat of carbapenem resistance among P. aeruginosa in Najaf province. This is the first report of NDM ?-lactamase producing P. aeruginosa in Iraq. Keywords: P. aeruginosa; Carbapenems; metallo-?-lactamase; blaNDM

    Plasmon-assisted electron-electron collisions at metallic surfaces

    We present a theoretical treatment for the ejection of a secondary electron from a clean metallic surface induced by the impact of a fast primary electron. Assuming a direct scattering between the incident, primary electron and the electron in a metal, we calculate the electron-pair energy distributions at the surfaces of Al and Be. Different models for the screening of the electron-electron interaction are examined and the footprints of the surface and the bulk plasmon modes are determined and analyzed. The formulated theoretical approach is compared with the available experimental data on the electron-pair emission from Al.Comment: 30 pages, 9 figure

    One effort to increase maize productivity is by using marginal land for maize plantation. The marginal land that can be used is acid soil, but the problem are Al toxicity and low pH. To cope with these problems, cultivars having tolerance to Al toxicity and low pH are needed. Plant material used in this research were two maize varieties (Pioneer and Srikandi). Media selection is used there are 4 doses treatment aluminium (0, 250, 500 and 750 ppm AlCl3). All variables were observed except at the variable width of the leaf in this results showed that the treatment of aluminium (AlCl3) would not influence. Treatment combination Variety Srikandi and 250 ppm AlCl3 produces plant height, leaf length and leaf width is the shortest compared to other treatments. Variety Pioneer and Srikandi are suspected of varieties resistant aluminum and low pH values based on relative root length

    Segmentasi Gigi pada Dental Panoramic Radiograph untuk Identifikasi Manusia

    – Indonesia memiliki tingkat kerawanan tinggi terhadap bencana alam dan kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan terjadinya korban massal. Banyak cara untuk mengidentifikasi korban, salah satunya menggunakan citra gigi. Gigi merupakan bagian dari tubuh yang lebih tahan lama karena struktur gigi yang padat dan kuat. Identifikasi menggunakan sarana gigi dapat dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan data gigi yang telah diperoleh dari pemeriksaan gigi jenazah yang tidak dikenal (data postmortem) dengan data gigi yang sebelumnya pernah dibuat (data antemortem). Terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam melakukan identifikasi korban menggunakan citra gigi. Tahapan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah tahap segmentasi gigi. Pertama, citra dilakukan cropping hingga mendapatkan dimensi berukuran 1564×589 piksel serta perbaikan citra menggunakan Histogram Equalization. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemisahan citra gigi menggunakan metode Integral Projection dilengkapi penggunaan Spline Interpolation untuk menggambar garis pemisah antara rahang atas-bawah serta gigi tunggal. Tiap citra memiliki nilai n-blok kolom yang berbeda sehingga dibutuhkan parameter sebesar 3 hingga 30 n-blok kolom untuk membentuk garis pemisah rahang atas-bawah. Citra gigi berjenis Dental Panoramic Radiograph. Hasil evaluasi kesalahan terkecil saat melakukan pemisahan rahang atas-bawah menggunakan Horizontal Integral Projection sebesar 56.8% dengan nilai n-blok kolom adalah 8 dan saat segmentasi gigi pada tahap Vertical Integral Projection sebesar 38.27% dengan nilai average filter adalah 17
