Objectives: To establish the chronological sequence of the dental eruption in canines, carrying out various investigations in different studies that indicate, according to their analyzes, that there is a direct relationship with the factors that cause their eruption to be altered. Methods: A bibliographic review was carried out from October to December 2020, using the following search strategy in the database: Scielo, Repository, Medical journals, within which 22 articles related to the subject were considered, taking into account that 90% of the publications and bibliographic reviews were from 2010-2020. Results: In different studies a close relationship was found in the different factors that tend to cause the advance or delay in its appearance. That is why it is necessary to consider investigating the biological factors that can affect the development of the tooth bud. Conclusion: All the information that has been obtained in this investigation, we conclude that the order of eruption of the mentioned teeth, whether they are upper and lower canines, is affected and is influenced by components such as malnutrition, geographical environment, climate, race, factor environmental, sex and age. An experimental approach to the effect of attentional focus

    Get PDF

NAPA: An algorithm to auto-tune unicast reliable communications over DDS

This paper proposes NAPA (Non-supervised Adaptative Publication Algorithm) a framework for a uto-tuning unicast reliable communications over DDS. We provide the NAPA design rationale, and some implementation details. After the experimental conducted evaluation, we demonstrate how using the subscriber's feedback, as NAPA does, the publisher can vary its sending rate in order to improve the overall performance in terms of end-to-end latency and throughput in DDS applications.Universidad de Granada. Exact solution of the lattice vertex model analog of the coupled Bariev XY chains

We present the algebraic Bethe Ansatz solution for the vertex model recently proposed by Zhou as the classical analog of the Bariev interacting XY chains. The relevant commutation rules between the creation fields contain the Hecke symmetry pointed out recently by Hikami and Murakami. The eigenvalues of the corresponding transfer matrix are explicitly given.Comment: Plain latex, 8 pag

Effect of a DC Electric field on the melting temperature, nucleation and ice growth rate of the TIP4P/ICE water model

Understanding the effect of electric fields on the thermal stability and phase transitions of water could have potential applications in the food industry, cryopreservation, and environmental science. In this work, we investigate the effect of a static electric field on the melting temperature (Tm), ice nucleation and ice growth rate of two phases of ice, hexagonal ice (Ih) and ferroelectric cubic ice (Icf), for the TIP4P/ICE water model. By means of direct coexistence simulations, we establish that Tm of Ice Ih is shifted toward lower values, whereas Tm of Ice Icf grows, becoming the most stable ice phase for sufficiently largevalues of the applied electric field. We also investigate ice nucleation for both ice phases under an external electric field and find that, for a given supercooling with respect to Tm, while the field slows down the nucleation rate of ice Ih significantly, it barely affects that of ice Icf, due to the enhanced ability of water molecules to orient favorably along the direction of the field in the latter phase. In terms of absolute temperature, overall ice formation is promoted by the electric field because it increases the melting point of ice Icf. Finally, we show how the electric field slows down the crystal growth of Ice Ih and increases that of Ice Icf by a factor of about two

We formulate in terms of the quantum inverse scattering method the algebraic Bethe ansatz solution of the one-dimensional Hubbard model. The method developed is based on a new set of commutation relations which encodes a hidden symmetry of 6-vertex type.Comment: appendix additioned with Boltzmann weigths and R-matrix. Quantum integrability and exact solution of the supersymmetric U model with boundary terms

    Get PDF
The quantum integrability is established for the one-dimensional supersymmetric UU model with boundary terms by means of the quantum inverse scattering method. The boundary supersymmetric UU chain is solved by using the coordinate space Bethe ansatz technique and Bethe ansatz equations are derived. This provides us with a basis for computing the finite size corrections to the low lying energies in the system.Comment: 4 pages, RevTex. Some cosmetic changes. The version to appear in Phys. Rev.

Expansion for the solutions of the Bogomolny equations on the torus

We show that the solutions of the Bogomolny equations for the Abelian Higgs model on a two-dimensional torus, can be expanded in powers of a quantity epsilon measuring the departure of the area from the critical area. This allows a precise determination of the shape of the solutions for all magnetic fluxes and arbitrary position of the Higgs field zeroes. The expansion is carried out to 51 orders for a couple of representative cases, including the unit flux case. We analyse the behaviour of the expansion in the limit of large areas, in which case the solutions approach those on the plane. Our results suggest convergence all the way up to infinite area.Comment: 26 pages, 8 figures, slightly revised version as published in JHE

A note on graded Yang-Baxter solutions as braid-monoid invariants

We construct two Osp(n2m)Osp(n|2m) solutions of the graded Yang-Baxter equation by using the algebraic braid-monoid approach. The factorizable S-matrix interpretation of these solutions is also discussed.Comment: 7 pages, UFSCARF-TH-94-1
