This article has been made available through the Brunel Open Access Publishing Fund. This naturalistic study integrates specific 'question moments' into lesson plans to increase pupils' classroom interactions. A range of teaching tools has explored students' ideas through opportunities to ask and write questions. Their oral and written outcomes provide data on individual and group misunderstandings. Changes to the schedule of lessons were introduced to discuss these questions and solve disparities. Flexible lesson planning over fourteen lessons across a four-week period of highschool chemistry accommodated students' contributions and increased student participation, promoted inquiring and individualised teaching, with each teaching strategy feeding forward into the next

This study investigated the efficacy of a biostimulant produced by the National Insitute of Agricultural Sciences in Cuba, named Quitosana, in the cultivation of cucumber, Cucumis sativus. One planting bed per treatment was selected as an experimental unit, with a population of 207 plants, planted in double rows 30 cm apart. The cucumber variety used was SS-5. The bioactaive compound Quitosana was applied in the foliar form in the early hours of the morning, 10 days after seed germination. Crop propagation was done by direct planting. The experiment included 4 treatments, which consisted of three doses and one control. Different reproductive parameters were evaluated in the first harvest of the cucumber crop,  leading to important conclusions about the effects of the evaluated doses on the growth and development of the crop.Se investigó la efectividad de un bioestimulante producido por el Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Agrícolas, denominado Quitosana, en el cultivo de pepino, Cucumis sativus.
