    Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Geguritan Melalui Metode Art Performance-Learning Kelas XII SMK Negeri 1 Kedung

    Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik pada pembelajaran membaca geguritan di kelas XII. Hal ini dikarenakan permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran monoton hanya menggunakan metode ceramah, tanpa mengembangkan penggunaan metode pembelajaran lain yang lebih inovatif dan kreatif. Proses pembelajaran yang belum komunikatif dan interaktif dengan tidak mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang baik membuat peserta didik pasif serta kurang memiliki minat untuk mengikuti pembelajaran, menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar pada keterampilan membaca geguritan. Perbaikan pembelajaran melalui metode Art Performance-Learning bertujuan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam membaca geguritan. Pendekatan yang digunakan melalui laporan hasil penelitian peserta didik kelas XII SMK Negeri 1 Kedung. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan dua siklus yang terdiri atas tindakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi atas hasil penelitian perbaikan menunjukkan peningkatan. Hasil tes formatif yang semula 65, pada siklus I meningkat 73, siklus II menjadi 81,5. Dengan KKM 70 rata-rata ketuntasan pada Prasiklus 29,1%, Siklus I menjadi 54%, dan Siklus II menjadi 87,5%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Art Performance-Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam membaca geguritan menjadi lebih baik

    PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN METODE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENTS (TGT) MATAPELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI SOMPOKAN

    Kegiatan pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru (teacer centered) akan membuat keaktifan dan prestasi belajar rendah khususnya pada mata pelajaran Matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sompokan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilaksanakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa melalui metode Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) pada pelajaran Matematika kelas V SD Negeri Sompokan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sompokan yang berjumlah 29 siswa, terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, pada setiap siklus mencakup kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Kriteria keberhasilan yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran melalui metode pembelajaran TGT dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari presentase keaktifan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 70%, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77%. Sedangkan hasil prestest perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 45,55 ketuntasan sebesar 18,5%. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan, perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas postest siklus I meningkat menjadi 71,48 dengan ketuntasan sebesar 55,5%. Kemudian perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas postest siklus II meningkat menjadi 73,96 dengan ketuntasan sebesar 79,3%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Matematika menggunakan metode TGT dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sompokan

    Potential Combination of Bittern Water with Vitamin B Complex for Mineral Deficiency Therapy in Cattle: A Literature Study

    Bittern water is a byproduct of the crystallization process from the manufacture of salt which have high concentrations of magnesium, calcium, potassium and other trace minerals Bittern water is known to treat osteoporosis, postprandial hyperlipidemia, oral infections and increase salivary secretion. The mineral content in bittern water is not only beneficial for humans but also for animal health. Cows are one of the animals that are prone to various health problems such as mineral balance and metabolism disorders in the body, especially during pregnancy and after giving birth. In addition to minerals, vitamin B complex is often used to improve the health quality of cows. However, until now, the use of bittern water and the combination with vitamin B complex for animal treatment is still very rare. The formulation of multivitamin-mineral preparations is quite complex to do so that there are several things that need to be considered in order to obtain a good and quality formula. This review article was created to gather information regarding the benefits of the mineral content contained in bittern water and vitamin B complex as a treatment to treat various health problems for cattle, as well as what important factors should be considered in multivitamin-mineral preparations. Based on literature search, it was found that the combination of bittern water and vitamin B complex has the potential to overcome health problems in cows, where the main minerals in bittern water are proven to improve magnesium status in the blood, increase calcium intake and reduce the incidence of milk fever, increase milk production and components, and improve immune status. While vitamin B complex is widely used as a supplement to increase metabolism, energy status in cows balances rumen pH, maintains microbiota balance in riumen and helps increase milk production. The combination of bittern water and vitamin B complex can synergistically improve mineral status, energy, and immune response, as well as improve disease symptoms. There are also important factors that must be considered in multivitamin-mineral dosage formulations for animals, namely bioavailability, stability, and dosage form

    Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 is the result of a systemic disorder of glucose metabolism which signed with chronic hyperglycemia. The situation is caused by damage to the pancreatic beta cells by either an autoimmune or idiopathic processes so that insulin production is reduced and even stopped. On the other hand, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 is a metabolic disorder that is marked by a rise in blood sugar due to a decrease in insulin secretion by pancreatic beta cells and insulin function or disorder (insulin resistance). The results of Health Research in 2008, showed the incidence of Diabetes Mellitus in Indonesia reached 57% (from total population), while diabetes mellitus type 2 is 95% in the world. Management of these deseases is done by the use of hyperglycemia and insulin oral medication and lifestyle modifications to reduce these incidences and microvascular-macrovascular complications of diabetes mellitus type 2. The material requires a learning media as a source of latest information for the service provider who expected to improve their knowledge with E-learning concept. It means learning with computer; specific softwares and internet. The objection of this paper explains how to make Diabetes mellitus learning media with computer software in order to attractive, interactive and make it easier for user, it also how to understand the importance of science about Diabetes mellitus and the way to handle this desease. The computer softwares are Microsoft Power Point as presentation media, Camtasia Studio and Corel Video Studio as video editor which will uploaded in YouTube. The method using descriptive analysis which explain work processes, it start from making presentation media in Microsoft Power Point, recording monitor screen with Camtasia Studio, video editing with Corel Video Studio, then the next steps are uploading video in YouTube and writing in personal blog which can find via google search. The result is E-learing media concept which raising the interest of users as material for the study of Diabetes mellitus and effective to minimize the impact of this desease.
