The development of emotional regulation in students during professional training will prevent and overcome the development of burnout syndrome and other types of professional deformation in the course of professional medical activities associated with negative emotional experience
Geochemical features of Kulunda plain lakes (Altay region, Russia)
Geochemical specifics of lake water of the Kulunda Steppe territory (Altay region, Russia) are studied. The results show that in the territory mainly chloride and less soda lakes with sodium compound are developed. It is presented that calcite and soda saturation indexes (SI) of lake water increase with growth of pH, but decrease in such minerals as gypsum and barite. The opposite situation is typical for SI depending on the salinity. It is revealed that evaporation, secondary mineral formation and various biological processes have the greatest impact on accumulation of elements in solution
Measurement of the deuteron beam polarization at internal target at Nuclotron for DSS experiment
The current deuteron beam polarimetry at Nuclotron is provided by the Internal Target polarimeter based on the use of the asymmetry in dp- elastic scattering at large angles in the cms at 270 MeV. The upgraded deuteron beam polarimeter has been used obtain the vector and tensor polarization during 2016/2017 runs for the DSS experimental program. The polarimeter has been used also for tuning of the polarized ion source parameters for 6 different spin mode
The structure of a tetrameric Ξ±-carbonic anhydrase from Thermovibrio ammonificans reveals a core formed around intermolecular disulfides that contribute to its thermostability
Carbonic anhydrase enzymes catalyse the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide to bicarbonate. A thermophilic Thermovibrio ammonificans Ξ±-carbonic anhydrase (TaCA) has been expressed in Escherichia coli and structurally and biochemically characterized. The crystal structure of TaCA has been determined in its native form and in two complexes with bound inhibitors. The tetrameric enzyme is stabilized by a unique core in the centre of the molecule formed by two intersubunit disulfides and a single lysine residue from each monomer that is involved in intersubunit ionic interactions. The structure of this core protects the intersubunit disulfides from reduction, whereas the conserved intrasubunit disulfides are not formed in the reducing environment of the E. coli host cytosol. When oxidized to mimic the environment of the periplasmic space, TaCA has increased thermostability, retaining 90% activity after incubation at 70Β°C for 1β
h, making it a good candidate for industrial carbon-dioxide capture. The reduction of all TaCA cysteines resulted in dissociation of the tetrameric molecule into monomers with lower activity and reduced thermostability. Unlike other characterized Ξ±-carbonic anhydrases, TaCA does not display esterase activity towards p-nitrophenyl acetate, which appears to result from the increased rigidity of its protein scaffold.Statoil ASAUniversity of ExeterBotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)Wellcome TrustEUEngineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC
Tensor analyzing power Ayy in deuteron inclusive breakup at large Pt and spin structure of deuteron at short internucleonic distances
The Ayy data for deuteron inclusive breakup off hydrogen and carbon at a
deuteron momentum of 9.0 GeV/c and large Pt of emitted protons are presented.
The large values of Ayy independent of the target mass reflect the sensitivity
of the data to the deuteron spin structure. The data obtained at fixed and
plotted versus Pt clearly demonstrate the dependence of the deuteron spin
structure at short internucleonic distances on two variables. The data are
compared with the calculations using Paris, CD-Bonn and Karmanov's deuteron
wave functions.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures, talk given at the SPIN2004 Conf., 10-16 Oct.
