Prolongation Algebra and Backlund Transformations of Drinfeld-Sokolov System of Equations

We show that the Drinfeld-Sokolov system of equations has a nontrivial prolongation structure. The closure process for prolongation algebra gives rise to the sl(4,c) algebra which is used to derive the scattering problem for the system of equations under consideration. The nontrivial new Backlund transformations and some explicit solutions are given.Comment: 13 page

Intervensi Anak Usia Dini Penyandang Autis

Artikel  ini merupakan studi kasus yang menggambarkan intervensi pada anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu autis. Di dalam melaksanakan penelitian penulis mendapatkan informasi dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara langsung dengan narasumber yang berkaitan dengan anak seperti orang tua, guru dan terapis. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu autis yang berusia lima tahun. Dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara diperoleh informasi bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan terhadap IM dilakukan melalui terapis yaitu terapi prilaku, terapi wicara, terapi bermain, terapi okupasi dan terapi diet. Dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara diperoleh informasi bahwa terapi yang diberikan sesungguhnya hanya petunjuk  dan awal latihan, selanjutnya orang tua dan guru yang melatih anak untuk berprilaku sehingga anak menjadi mandiri. Setelah dilakukan terapis beberapa aspek perkembangan berkembang dengan baik terutama pada kemandirian dan interaksi sosial dengan lingkungannya. Tetapi harapan yang terlalu besar dari orang tua membuat terapis dan guru merasa kurang nyaman, sebaiknya orang tua tidak menyerahkan begitu saja perubahan prilaku anaknya ke terapis atau sekolah tetapi juga keluarga harus dengan sabar melatih anaknya sebagai tindak lanjut dari konsultasi pada saat dilakukan terapi

HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEAUSAN TEPI PAHAT DENGAN RASIO DELAMINASI LUBANGATAS PADA PROSES MENGGURDI KOMPOSIT BERPENGUAT SERAT DAUN NANAS ( PALFs )

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara terjadinya delaminasi dengan keausan tepi pahat pada proses menggurdi material komposit berpenguat serat daun nanas. Untuk material komposit berpenguat serat daun nanas dipersiapkan dalam bentuk lembaran yang dijalin (woven mat).Lembaran komposit kemudian disusun dalam3 (tiga) lapisan (stacking) dalam matrik termoplastik dengan metoda Hand Lay-up. Adapun orientasi serat masing-masing lembaran adalah 900 dan 450.Komposit kemudian dilubang dengan mempergunakan proses menggurdi dengan dua kondisi, yaitu kondisi ringan dan berat. Kualitas lubang dalam aspek delaminasi dan keausan tepi pahat diukur dengan mempergunakan mikroskop optik yang dilengkapi perangkat lunak pengukuran. Selanjutnya hubungan antara nilai rasio delaminasi dan keausan tepi pahat hasil menggurdi dibangun. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pertumbuhan keausan tepi pahat dengan terjadinya delaminasi lubang pada proses menggurdi material komposit ini dan dengan kondisi pemotongan yang dipilih. Growth of thin graphene layers on stacked SiC surface in ultra high vacuum

We demonstrate a technique to produce thin graphene layers on C-face of SiC under ultra high vacuum conditions. A stack of two SiC substrates comprising a half open cavity at the interface is used to partially confine the depleted Si atoms from the sample surface during the growth. We observe that this configuration significantly slows the graphene growth to easily controllable rates on C-face SiC in UHV environment. Results of low-energy electron diffractometry and Raman spectroscopy measurements on the samples grown with stacking configuration are compared to those of the samples grown by using bare UHV sublimation process

Critical Digital Literacy: EFL Students’ Ability to Evaluate Online Sources

The advancement of Internet-based technologies and the new media ecology have contributed to the increased reliance on online sources in both the academic and the non-academic contexts. This study investigated how students evaluated the credibility of online information and the bias that might have influenced the content of the information. 152 EFL students responded to the online critical literacy assessment, which consisted of six tasks: evaluating the credibility of visual information, evaluating WhatsApp message, comparing and evaluating websites, distinguishing between news and sponsored content, evaluating the credibility of claim in a YouTube video, and evaluating an Instagram post. The results of the study showed that the students were easily deceived by the online information they read from various online media. They particularly struggled to detect the unsubstantiated claims from the YouTube video. Despite being a generation Z who frequently used social media and various online sources in their daily lives, the students could not critically evaluate the claims posted on these platforms. Implications of this study include the need to incorporate critical digital literacy in the language skill courses and deliberate exposure to strategies in evaluating online sources

Turkey changed her economic policy in 1980s towards more liberal economy and higher exports. During this transition, the structure of the exports also changed from agricultural products towards industrial ones. Export of food products, for which the European Union is the largest market, has an important share in total exports. Recently, EU has started to increase the stringency of her regulations related to food quality, safety and environmental standards. This development necessitates the analysis of how Turkish firms exporting into EU should respond to them, and that is what this paper will try to demonstrate. The Impact of Schooling on the Timing of Marriage and Fertility: Evidence from a Change in Compulsory Schooling Law

This paper estimates the impact of schooling on the timing of marriage and early fertility using the 2003 Turkish Demographic and Health Survey and duration analysis methodology. The source of exogenous variation in schooling is the extension of compulsory schooling in Turkey in 1997. The findings indicate that at age 17 –three years after the completion of compulsory schooling –, the proportion of women who are married drops from 15.2 to 10 percent and the proportion of women who have given birth falls from 6.2 to 3.5 percent as a result of the new policy. This implies that the impact of increased schooling on marriage and early fertility persists beyond the completion of compulsory schooling for an important duration. In addition, the delay in the timing of first-birth is driven from the delay in the timing of marriage. ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN ELEARNING BERBASIS STEM MATA PELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMKN SUMETERA SELATAN

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali kebutuhan akan adanya pengembangan E-learning berbasis STEM di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) yang notabenenya memang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pendekatan STEM tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan penyebaran angket terhadap peserta didik kelas X di SMKN Sumatera Selatan yang terletak di kota Palembang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dalam pembelajaran secara daring, E-learning merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat sesuai dan layak dipilih dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran; (2) Mayoritas peserta didik kelas X SMKN Sumatera Selatan merasa bahwa E-learning berbasis STEM perlu dikembangkan dan diterapkan pada pembelajaran mereka. Sehingga, berdasarkan pertimbangan dari poin-poin simpulan yang didapat, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa  pengembangan E-learning berbasis STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sangat dibutuhkan
