    ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to find the influence of place, promotion, infrastructure availability, and transportation availability on traveler satisfaction. Methods used in this research is descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, the classics assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedasticity test, and autocorrelation test), multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis test (t test, F test and coefficients determination). In this research is based on t test obtained place partially have an significantly to traveler satisfaction, promotion variable partially have an significantly to traveler satisfaction, infrastructure availability variable partially have an significantly to traveler satisfaction, transportation availability variable partially have an significantly to traveler satisfaction. The F-test based on the influence of place, promotion, infrastructure availability, and transportation availability on traveler satisfaction, there are significant influence jointly between the place, promotion, infrastructure availability, and transportation availability on traveler satisfaction. Based on test results obtained R2 value of Adjusted R Square of 0.592 or 59.2%, so it can be concluded the place, promotion, infrastructure availability, and transportation availability is able to explain the variations of traveler satisfaction by 59.2%, while the remaining 40.8% is explained by other variables outside the model researched.     Indonesia has many culinary business using carts, for example martabak. Cart used by the seller martabak is simple cart with stainless steel, aluminum, wood, glass, and made with the approximate size pickup without any consideration of the science. Through anthropometric approach and Quality Function Deployment (QFD), the design of the cart will be good and according to customer needs. Anthropometric approach used to design dimensions of the cart and QFD used to meet consumer needs for design of the cart. Anthropometric data used in the design of the cart are elbow span, fore arm span, high above hand grip, hip height. Consumer needs based on QFD is divided into four. Ergonomics, performance, materials, and designs. The consumer needs come from the questionnaire with consumers and will be processed in a House of Quality (HOQ). Carts design are made to be referring to the anthropometric dimensions and the voice of the customer in QFD. Martabak cart product prices can be determined by using the Cost of Production (HPP). Based on the HPP will know the price cost of sales is the reference price of one the martabak cart

The research entitled "Analysis of the Influence of Leadership Style and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance in Organization KODIM 01714", has problem formulation whether leadership style significantly influence to employee performance and how job satisfaction can influence to employee performance. The purpose of this study to obtain a deep picture and provide empirical evidence on the influence of leadership style and analyze job satisfaction directly affect the performance of employees at the organization KODIM 0714. This research uses survey method. The data source used is primary data and secondary data from the spread of questionnaires and obtained indirectly through intermediate media (books and journals). The data will be analyzed quantitatively. The theoretical basis used is the theory of leadership, satisfaction and performance. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that leadership has a significant effect on employee performance and satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the test results F is known Fcount> Ftable (34.573> 3.15), then Ho is rejected, Means jointly variable leadership style and satisfaction have a significant effect on performance. Based on the results of data analysis using computer assistance SPSS for windows program can be obtained R square (R2) of 0.524, meaning variation changes in performance variables can dijelskan by leadership style variables and satisfaction of 52.4%.     This research aims to analyze the effect of rupiah exchange rate, term of trade, inflation, world gdp per capita, world economic growth on food and beverage industry export in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series with the observation period 1999-2014. The data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and World Bank. The data analysis using Partial Adjustment Model (PAM). The results showed that the short and long term world gdp per capita have positive effect and significant to food and beverage industry export in Indonesia. While rupiah exchange rate, term of trade, inflation and world economic growth isn’t influence significantly on food and beverage industry export in Indonesia

    The magnitude of hearing loss in Pakistan is enormous. One in twelve children of Pakistan suffers from some form of hearing impairment. Many of them are unable to afford surgical procedures and resort to the use of cheap hearing aids fitted by untrained individuals or people lacking the required expertise. This predisposes the patients to significant complications during a process that is otherwise considered safe. We report the case of a child, where the process of making the mould for a hearing aid led to the perforation of the tympanic membrane and pouring of mould material into the middle ear, necessitating surgical intervention. During initial surgery it was thought that all mould had been removed from the middle ear but 9 years later this child underwent cochlear implantation at the same center and remaining part of ear mould was discovered from mastoid cavity

    ABSTRAK Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan permasalahan Kinerja Karyawan Pada Inspektorat Provinsi Jawa Barat, masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja karyawan yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya Pelatihan dan Kompensasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Inspektorat Provinsi Jawab Barat secara simultan maupun parsial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Pengujian instrumen penelitian menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, korelasi berganda, koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Pelatihan dan Kompensasi terhadap kinerja Karyawan. Besarnya pengaruh Pelatihan dan Kompensasi secara simultan yaitu sebesar 53,4%. Secara parsial besarnya pengaruh Pelatihan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan yaitu sebesar 32,2% dan pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap kinerja Karyawan sebesar 21,2%.     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini diawali dengan adanya fenomena tentang kurangnya kepuasan kerja pegawai, kurangnya kepuasan kerja diindikasikan dari turnover dan absensi pegawai yang tinggi yang mana apabila semakin besar kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan pegawai maka keingina n berpindah kerja semakin kecil dan begitu pula sebaliknya dan juga rendahnya kepuasan kerja dapat mengakibatkan kemangkiran pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompensasi dan Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Divisi SDM pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pusat Bandung. PT. Pos Indonesia merupakan yang bergerak dibidang jasa kurir, logistik, dan transaksi keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik sampling yang digu nakan adalah non probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data interval dengan mentransformasikan data ordinal ke interval terlebih dahulu menggunakan method of successive interval ( MSI). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis korelasi berganda, dan analisis koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Kompensasi dan Lingku ngan Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Divisi SDM pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pusat Bandung. Secara simultan adalah sebesar 52,2%. Sedangkan secara parsial besarnya pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai sebesar 24,5%, dan peng aruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai sebesar 27,7%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja memberikan kontribusi paling dominan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Divisi SDM pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pusat Bandung.     Green Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles as Potent Antifungal Agent against Aspergillus terreus Thom

    Medicinal plants are composed of a rich pool of biomolecules and have been increasingly recognized for their antimicrobial properties; however, increasing concerns have been put on the bioavailability features. Thus, this study is aimed at exploring the synthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticles synthesized by Chenopodium album L. leaf extract and assessing the antifungal activity against Aspergillus terreus Thom. Plant extract was prepared in methanol to synthetize silver nanoparticles, which were then characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), UV-Visible spectroscopy, and particle size analysis. UV-Visible analysis indicated maximum absorption at 378 nm, and an average particle size was observed as 25.6 nm. Oval to hexagonal shape was observed by SEM. Antifungal activity of silver nanoparticles (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5%) was addressed against A. terreus biomass. At 3.5%, silver nanoparticles revealed to be highly effective, leading to 92% retardation in fungus growth. In next phase, various organic fractions, viz., chloroform, n-butanol, n-hexane, and ethyl acetate, were obtained from plant methanol extract, and the corresponding silver nanoparticles were prepared. These fractions were also assessed for antifungal activity, and n-hexane fraction led to 64% inhibition in A. terreus biomass. Following gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), 18 compounds were identified, namely, 1,3-cyclopentadiene-5-(1 methylethylidene and o-xylene), ethyl benzene, octadecane, nonane, decane, 2-methylheptane, n-hexadecane, 2-methylheptane, and eicosane, along with carbonyl compounds (4,4-dimethyl-3-hexanone) and phenols, like stearic acid, propionic acid hydrazide, and 2,4-di-T-butylphenol. These findings proved that C. album silver nanoparticles are highly effective against A. terreus.N.C.-M. acknowledges the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology under the Horizon 2020 Program (PTDC/PSI-GER/28076/2017)
